The worst customer service I’ve ever encountered. Called to purchased a few parts for my vehicle, totaling around $130. I was willing to pay for the parts to be ordered. Apparently, they have a policy that states they will not sell you parts totaling over $100 without you being there in person. So I should drive over 4 hours round trip twice to purchase and pick up parts from Mercedes Benz of Bakersfield. That’s 8 hours of driving for a few small parts. That ridiculous! I then stated I had a automotive business and I could assure them I would pick up my paid for parts on the day they arrived. They obviously aren’t interested in selling parts. If I were you I would take your business else where. There are plenty of dealerships that are helpful and kind. I’ve been in this business for 20 years and have never seen anything like it. I truly hope someone of importance sees this.

I had the best experience with Mercedes-Benz, from my salesman Philip Ramires, to the sales manger Mike and also with the finance manager Tiffany. I had a very smooth process from the beginning to the end. No pressure and didn’t feel rushed at all. Philip really listen to what I wanted. The whole team was genuinely the best people in sales I ever met. I had bad customer service with BMW and Everyone at Mercedes-Benz literally spoiled me and I appreciate each of you for all the help. He is kind, helpful, understanding, has a great positive energy, so welcoming, and makes you feel as comfortable as possible. Not good experience: I tried to take a look at the cars, and I had so many salespeople staring at me the whole time I was there. I felt uncomfortable and was treated like I was not welcomed there. If salespeople want their customers to be satisfied with their experience, they need to stop staring at people.

Its our first time going to a Mercedes Benz dealership and Paula Arellano, our Sales Advisor, made this experience a memorable one. She really made us feel welcome as soon as we walked into their lot, and she went out of her way to get us the car that we needed and wanted at the same time. She is also very friendly and accomodating, and exactly what every customer would be expecting from a luxury car dealership. I would also like to give a shout out to everyone in the Service Department, especially to Alfred and Dawn. They took care of us while we are getting our car serviced. The worst service and treatment I have ever received and experienced, not only at any Mercedes-Benz dealer but at any franchise dealer.From charging upfront for services to ZERO courtesy services such as loaner cars, beverages, or anything resembling service and / or making the customer feel welcomed or any appreciation for having referred to them. I would go out of my way to avoid this dealership. On top of everything their basic charges are a about 25% higher than other Mercedes-Benz dealers.

As a long time BMW and Porsche owner, I would discourage anyone from purchasing and servicing a Mercedes from this dealership. Despite the fact that they sell new and WASHED Sprinter Vans, they refuse to wash them when serviced. So I paid $360 for an oil change with no wash. Shuttles? While BMW next door has resumed service shuttles for months, management has NO SHUTTLE SERVICE “due to Co-VID”. Yeah right. The owner is obviously a cheapskate and charged the outrageous Mercedes service prices without affording his customers the service all other luxury dealers give their customers routinely.

I recently bought a used car from Surinder at Mercedes Benz of Bakersfield. I live in Santa Barbara so getting everything done ahead of time was important to me. Would NOT recommend. Last time I spend $560 of hard earned money on what is basically an oil change. I expected far better from a marque that prides itself on sophistication, precision, and expert technicians. When you pay premium prices, you expect premium performance. I chose MB of Bakersfield for my Service B because I received a coupon in the mail from them. The coupon mentioned the car would be returned clean and disinfected. It wasnt clean and I have no way of knowing if it was disinfected, but from what I can tell is they basically sprayed it down with water because it was still dirty on the outside and untouched on the inside. Not a huge deal, but then I happened to check my spare tire pressure a week and a half later - it was 33 psi versus the 61 psi it should have been corrected to as part of Service B along with the 4 main tires. Makes me wonder what else was skipped over. Probably wont be using MB dealers for service any longer - why would anyone pay that much to begin with!?

Worst customer service of any mercedes benz service dept. Service manager, lacks empathy, professionalism and clear communication skills w his customers and his employees! I was told 3 different stories about time frame of repair. They dont apologize for their misinformation or for customers incovenience loss of valuable time and setting appointments they can not attend to in the time frame promised. Plan on waiting all day or leaving your vehicle for days, even though you are told via phone a diagnostic can be done in a few hrs. Thankfully I documented everyone I spoke with and all 4 different answers. Please get on the same page, if you expect to get paid for your time the customer should be compensated for theirs as well, we all work, and our time is money! I wasted a work day, drove an hour each way to be turned away and told what I was told while setting appointment w service was incorrect?! No apology, no offer for atleast a customary car wash or even a cup of coffee for my entire morning of waiting to be told my car could not be serviced due to lack of parts. A few hrs turned into all day just to be told to come back due to lack of parts. Totally Sub- Par. Sadly, Mercedes long professional standards and customer care at this facility is non existent, and costing them long standing loyal customers. They need to relocate this store if they cant properly deliver the education, training and standards, Mercedes Benz Daimler Chrysler has built its reputation and success with. Go else where for service.

I visited Mercedes website just casually shopping around. I came across a vehicle i liked and put an application in online. A gentlemen by the of name Javier Cruz contacted me immediately and began working his magic. From the moment i stepped foot onto the parking lot he was right there grabbing the key to any car i even glanced at. He provided me with education on cars i knew nothing about. Javier provided me the best service i have ever received from a car salesman (I have purchased 4 vehicles). He will treat you like your a family friend he known for a lifetime. Javier was able to get me a deal i did not think was possible. I 100% recommend everyone visit this gentlemen if their even thinking of getting into the market for a new or used car.

I waited to write this review after I had my car a couple of months to see how it went but I have to say I am very happy with my purchase. Javier helped me tremendously in getting this vehicle. I found the car online and knew immediately this was the one I wanted. It was in immaculate condition. I contacted the dealership and Javier reassured me that the vehicle was just as perfect as I viewed in online. He overnighted me the paperwork to my house(in utah), I signed the paperwork along with a down payment, and sent it back to them. I flew from Salt Lake to Los Angeles to pick up the vehicle and Javier was so nice to come pick us up from the airport and drive us to the dealership in Bakersfield. He even bought us some lunch on the way! The vehicle looked just as perfect when I picked it up. It drove even better. It is 7 months later and I am still loving my Lexus CT200H hatchback. Thank you so much Javier and the rest of the team out there for being so helpful!! If my friends or family ever can’t find a vehicle they love I will refer them out to you guys.

Parts department for Mercedes will have you pay for a part in advance after confirming the part I needed and with a fax to make sure we were on the same page they still went ahead and gave me the wrong part. I wasnt asking for a refund but they said they couldn’t help me I had to pay for the correct part. Their parts department don’t know what they’re doing get experienced people especially when they’re dealing with expensive parts.

Worst customer service we have experienced. They do not know how to treat their customers with respect. I have went several times for maintenance and left very disappointed.Our 2017 Mercedes broke down with engine problems. It was diagnosed, at another place we take our car, that the piston 1 damaged the engine. This is a problem that the 2017 Mercedes c300 is having. We called Mercedes-Benz of Bakersfield to see if our car was still under warranty. The service department wanted us to pay for a diagnostic testing. They would not say if we were covered or not.We called Mercedes in Valencia and they check our information and told us that our Mercedes was covered. They didn’t have to run diagnostic testing. They were direct and upfront. We had our car towed, by AAA, to Valencia and were give a loaner car.

Ive been hunting for the perfect Subaru the last few months. I wanted a particular color so I was looking online at dealerships outside of my city. I was stoked when I found a car that matched all my preferences. I called Mercedes-Benz of Bakersfield and was able to speak with someone right away. Brandon patiently answered my questions and told me he would calculate a quote and email it to me to look over. I received the email quickly and was shocked to find how great of a deal they offered me (like a ridiculously great price), including the cheapest delivery rate out there. Their professional promptness and unbeatable rates sold me, I felt comfortable buying a car from them. Brandon went out to check the vehicle and sent me photos/videos of any imperfections he found so that I was aware before purchasing. His eye for detail make me feel comfortable that this was going to be a nice, previously owned car. I had some hiccups on my end with my credit unions lender, which was frustrating. But Brandon offered to speak with them and helped me through it. Once I got the bank squared away, they overnighted the paperwork which I signed and sent right back. It was exceptionally fast and easy. They delivered my beautiful Subaru Forrester, which I named Marla Hooch (what a hitter, am I right?), completely detailed (including the engine) and gassed up, at my day and time of choosing. It was an amazingly smooth and professional transaction. Brandon emailed, called, and texted me (even on his days off) to make sure I was updated all along the way. Im completely obsessed with Marla Hooch and cant wait to drive her for many years to come. I absolutely recommend buying a car from these guys, whether youre several miles away like myself, or in the area, youll get the best service and deals.

Horrible sales department. I had my time throughly wasted by Joel Villagomez and Campbell Cameron. I was nothing but pleasant to both of them, they were supposed to get back to me regarding some figures, and instead of bothering to contact me in any way, I received the proverbial middle finger in return via unreturned voicemails, emails, and texts. No good deed shall go unpunished. I should’ve spoken to them like the dogs that they are. Moreover, this, mind you, was for a custom order car that is well into $100k OTD. Do yourself a favor and come to LA: they won’t be winning any personality contests at the dealerships here (in LA), but they don’t tend to waste your time and will talk figures all day long. Most importantly, if they say they will contact you back, most will. At the end of the day, all a person has is their word. This place doesn’t keep theirs. Moreover, they do not value your time-the most valuable commodity anyone has.

We were so pleasantly surprised by our experience at this Mercedes-Benz dealership and repair. The original estimate for parts and labor was quite steep. When the service manager called to let me know the job was finished, hed already refunded a big portion of it because the car didnt need a starter motor after all. When we arrived to pick up the car, it was very clean and polished. Im happy to be back in the Benz and equally happy at how we were treated. Thank you.

Campbell is by far the best sales person I’ve ever worked with. I would give him a 10 on a scale from 1 to 5. He is truly the best. He is knowledgeable on every inch of Mercedes vehicles. I didn’t plan on getting another vehicle but his expertise actually saved me in the long run. If you go to Bakersfield Mercedes Benz I highly recommend you ask for Campbell. Very unsatisfied with the overall outcome of the service provided. At first everything was going great..car needed an EIS replaced because my car wouldn’t turn on with key. Then when that was fixed they had to order a key due to my key not working with new EIS, my key unlocked & locked car so key was working fine but fine we agreed to get new key, then a week later car was almost completed with a recall airbag replaced they were putting it back together. That’s when it goes downhill. My husband picks car up when they stated it was ready, then on his way home he noticed several new issues car has that weren’t there before. Carpet wasn’t put back when they installed the EIS, the door control module for driver seat is all messed up but works but not in the correct order, & moves steering wheel which it shouldn’t, that control is for the electric driver seat only by the way it also moves in opposite direction than before. & to top it off, the cover panel for ash tray is not opening like before u have to struggle with ur finger to lift it, & the AC panel area where knobs are located is lose too which wasn’t like that before if I was to pull a little that thing will come off with no struggle & the AC does not work at all now, it throws hot air only which that didn’t happen before. I have a video recorded of a day before taking it to dealership when it was working perfectly fine & I was at target, clearly everything was working properly, I even have my kids with me that day & was hot outside, I had AC on & was cold very cold inside my car. Then I say maybe :20 mnts later that day in target I come out & car doesn’t turn on with key, but key unlocked car & locked car, & stereo was working too, we decided to take it in to Mercedes Benz, & for this to happen. They have been contacted several time about it & they want to charge us to take a look at it..but all this is their doing!! really!! my husband has been in contact with Alfred & he sent him an estimate on how much it will cost us to take a look, really!! Alfred stated on texts that the foreman did not touched any electrical but on the paper that was given to us when we payed it clearly states ELECTRICAL SYSTEM & we got charged $466.95, that to me clearly tells me they did messed with electrical wiring in my car that now I have to deal with my seat & steering wheel not working like before but who knows only they know..this could be a hazard for me & my kids if it distracts me when I’m driving & instead of adjusting my seat the steering wheel moves & causes me to have a car accident. I couldn’t fix seat to my body frame like before now I end up smashed like a sandwich by seat and steering wheel, frustrating. Now I can’t use my car even if it’s drivable because I can’t drive in this conditions with kids in a hot car. We are very disappointed on this service, even after this matter was brought to the attention of the manager & still they wiped their hands as if the issues where there already, NO issues weren’t there before, but can’t proved that supposedly, but I did a video before it stopped working & my kids clearly weren’t complaining about car been hot because they where comfortable in back seat with AC on, nice & cold. We ended up paying more than $1200 for this to back fire on us & leaves us back to square 1 with a messed up car. Please people don’t take your cars there all they want is money & don’t care about customer service satisfaction. & to think I was interesting in purchasing a Mercedes Benz G-class & to experience this hard time exactly with Mercedes Benz just makes me not want to buy the GWagon..taking my business else where, & taking my C230 elsewhere, money is no issue here for us. Take this as a lesson learned with us & don’t take your car there People!! SmhUPDATE 6/20/18 we took car with different mechanic and in fact they did something wrong, they input wrong codes.

BEWARE of Terrible Customer Service and Theft! ZERO STARS!!!First, let me start by saying I’ve never written a review on any company before -good or bad. Under the circumstances, I feel if sharing my experience helps even just one person...it’s 100% worth it! On September 3rd I took my car to the Sangera Mercedes -Benz of Bakersfield service center in the Auto mall (5600 Gasoline Alley Dr.) for work on my vehicle. After the assessment I was prepared to be without my vehicle overnight for the work to be completed. I live about 30 minutes from the dealership/service center so the next day I text the service manager John Hoffman and explained that I was on that side of town and was contacting him for an update as to when my vehicle was expected to be ready for pickup. John responded that it looked like it would be ready towards the end of the day. Mind you that with COVID 19 business hours differ from normal in most cases. I had to text John again at 4:29 to ask if my vehicle was ready. John responded to my text at 5:36 and said my car was ready. I responded right away and told him I was on my way and it would take me about 30 minutes. John responded at 5:41 pm and told me they closed at 6pm. So I had to turn around and return home resulting in my vehicle remaining at the dealership for an additional night. The next day I picked up my vehicle and noticed my Rosary that hangs off my rear view mirror was missing. I looked further and noticed my windshield sun visor, all the change from my center console and a Rosary ring I had in a compartment near the ashtray was missing as well. It was Saturday Sept. 5th. and John was off, a young man named Alfred was working. I explained to Alfred what was missing from my vehicle, he was very professional and tried to call John right away to explain the situation. John didn’t answer, understandable considering it was a weekend. I was very calm about the situation explaining “I know the items missing are of no great value, I would just like to know what happened .” It was Labor Day weekend and Alfred explained he was sorry but the office would be closed on Monday Sept. 7th for the holiday but that John would be made aware of the situation and call me on Tuesday Sept. 8th to follow up with me. I confirmed with Alfred “I don’t need to call John, he will call me...right?” Alfred assured me John would call me. I never received a call. I work 12 hour shifts in the hospital, I am a Respiratory Therapist and it’s difficult to break away for personal calls -so my father contacted John on Thursday Sept. 10th to follow up. John said he would look into the situation further with his “Video surveillance guy” and get back with my father...he never called my father back. A week later my father called John’s supervisor Bill Smith and explained the situation. Bill said he had not been made aware of the situation and that he was going to look into it and PROMISED my father he would call him back ( placing emphasis on returning his call considering John Hoffman failed to do so). Today is October 3rd and neither myself or my father have received a call from John or Bill. Again, let me be clear I’m fully aware that the items taken from my vehicle are of no great value and can be replaced. my concern is that I would assume a company and it’s employee’s that sell not only a product but an image associated with excellence and elite standards would make some type of effort to keep their word to it’s customer’s. I’m actually in the market for a new vehicle soon and can assure you Sangera Mercedes-Benz will NOT be getting my business. I also get asked on a daily basis from coworkers in the hospital how I like my Mercedes and you can rest assured they will all be hearing about my experience!

I would Like to give Mercedes Benz a five, however what stops me from doing so is the fact that I had a 1:30 appointment and I didn’t get out of there till 5 o’clock, although they provide a very comfortable environment with lots of snacks and a TV, it is a long wait. It would be nice to be offered a car while we wait and then get a text that your car is ready. I know they offer shuttle service but my home was too far then I would have to find another ride back. My service coordinator Brian was very nice, I also saw that he highlighted in bold “customer waiting”, it’s still took 3 1/2 hours

I want everyone to know that I had the upmost fabulous experience with the saleswoman at Mercedes Benz. Paula was the best...she was not only very respectful, attentive to my wants and needs, but also very knowledgeable about the vehicles she intends to sale. She is all about the client and she goes out of her way to make you feel comfortable. I never felt pressured nor obligated to purchase. Paula is a great salesperson and I recommend when you visit, ask for her, she will take very good care of you. When I approached the lot everyone was eager to assist, however I liked the way Paula approached me with kindness and asked me about my day so far and asked me what she could do to assist me. It was a fantastic experience. I definitely will be going back in about three years to upgrade.

I can not say enough good things about my experience! I live 192 miles away in Modesto and was looking for a Fiat 500 Abarth, which they had exactly as I wanted. Over the course of two days (at my request because of my schedule) they put together a very detailed offer for me on the car including my trade-in, had everything ready for me when I got there, treated me with almost a familial regard (a big deal for an Italian), saved me a bundle of money, and made this one of the most positive experiences I have ever had. Javier and Patrick really worked hard to make this just a fantastic experience and the finance manager (whom I am ashamed to say I am blanking on her name) was so incredibly kind and genuine that the process had me in a feeling of complete comfort. I Found the Mercedes I wanted on the dealers website. Came in to purchase and was pleased to find it in better condition than described. Everyone there is very cordial, knowledgeable, and makes every effort to accommodate your every need. They even have this delivery room where a specialist spent over an hour and showed me everything there is to know about my car and even paired up my cell phone with the vehicle. Worst dealer I dealt with, they dont care about the customers or their safety, they are just looking for ways to make money, they dont stand behind their products, bought a 2015 s550, which should be one of the safest car there, bout one year later, two rims were BROKEN, not cracked but BTOKEN, when I asked them to honor the warranty, they denied it with an attitude, I wish I can attach the broken rim pictures, but I have them, if you need yo see them PM me, and I learned that there is a law suit against them for this issue

Worst place to go for service leave your car there at 9:00 am and still 4:30 pm no car so if you are trying to waste a whole day.Update: so my car had a message popping up so I decided to take it in to get checked out since I have purchased extended warranty and was told by the rude lady that helped me that I had to pay $300.00 to get my car diagnosed I told her why if my warranty states there is NO CHARGE for that but she said no I had to pay the fee if I wanted it checked out so I naturally left knowing it was going to be the battery I bought one and boom problem fixed. I came home read my warranty and it does state 2.6. NO CHARGE: Extended Limited Warranty services will be provided at no charge for parts, labor, or diagnostic operations which are directly related to the coverage provided under this Agreement.but it also state6.8. BATTERIES: Batteries are not covered by this agreement.none the less my vehicle was having other issues I wanted checked out so PLEASE READ YOUR WARRANTY BEFORE YOU SIGN it make sure you Understand it completely and ask questions before they take your money.

This service department takes a ll the joy out of owning a Mercedes which is supposed to be a real experience in itself. Unprofessional staff never informs you when your car is ready and also gives inconsistent information on diagnosis fees preventing you to use your warranty coverage on repairs. They do their best to avoid using your warranty on your brand new tires that you purchased from them.I had to report them to the main Mercedes Customer service and Better Business Bureau for the troubles they caused me and the mistreatment I experienced several times.At last trouble with my car, I had to taken to European Performance Automotive at 4205 Resnik Ct and that shop took my car although they were very busy and completed all repairs in a short notice within the day and immediately informed me to pick up my car. Such friendly, professional and excellent service I am able to receive finally.Avoid the dealership service if you want to protect your car and money at all costs possible.
