Brought my old GMC van in for a check up before a long trip. Steve is very honest and fair. He got all the work done fast and correctly (wheel bearings, water pump). Best mechanic experience Ive ever had.

Cant say enough good things about Steve and his professional ethics. I was on my way home from vacation at Shaver Lake. I live in Riverside. Just before the grapevine the check engine light came on. I called Car Care Clinic and was told to bring it in right away. All Steve had to do was wipe clean a sensor and send me on my way. But Steve noticed my front 2 tires were shredding and gave me directions to the nearest tire store. Without his help I know I would have broken down in the 100+ degree heat on the grapevine. Because of him, my family and I made it home safely. If Im ever driving through Bakersfield and have car problems again, hell be the first call I make. Thank you for being amazing.

I went in thinking I had to get electrical work done after replacing my passenger front headlight twice and it going out yet again. The service tech told me it was just one little fuse and fixed it right then and there and it was farrr less expensive than I anticipated! Good job guys. 👍

My car overheated and died. I had it towed here and after testing they found it was due to a faulty radiator cap. I appreciate them spending the time and finding it was only a small issue. With new radiator cap (and replacement coolant), I was back on the road and all was well. Two thumbs up!

The motor in my Rav 4 was knocking and I knew it was serious. I had it towed to Pep Boys as I felt they would give me an honest answer plus they advertise free estimate. Well, it sat at Pep Boys all weekend because the free estimate went to $ 80.00.I called Steve but he was not in; so Jason took my information, had it loaded on another tow truck; which I did not have pay for at that time; and I did not have to go with the car either. I moved to Bakersfield two years ago, and being new to the area was unfamiliar with mechanics. Car Care has been the only shop I’ve used for two years. They’re fast, affordable, and honest.

Steve helped us out when we had an engine issue coming down I-5. He was able to correctly diagnose the problem and get us back on on way.

This has to be the best mechanic in Bakersfield! This is the kind of honest talent that is unheard of these days. I was traveling home from California and my shock broke. I stopped in to get this fixed and Steve showed me what was wrong with it. I have never been to a mechanic that was so helpful, honest and willing to do the right thing. If you are in Bakerfield, use him!!!

Never coming back here again..Charged me over $1,000 just to get my brakes checked out and fixed..$500 for the labor and $500 for parts. Brake pads, rotors, wheel bearings, and brake fluid for 1 grand on an 02 s10. And even still they did a bad job because the brakes were already giving out after about 2 to 3 thousand miles. They started squeaking and were already giving out about a month later. I also had some work done on my car which needed new cables and the exhaust needed to be welded since it was falling. That was another $600 there. If I could, I would have taken my vehicles to any other location than here. I learned my lesson and hope no one else makes the mistake of coming here.
