We walked in to price some items for our truck. Martin Tovar greeted us and was extremely helpful. We left the store after purchasing a new bumper set and steps for our truck. The items didnt take long to arrive, considering Covid slows delivery times. The crew installed the bumpers amd the step for us and we couldnt be happier. We will be coming back to do more business with 4 Wheel Parts.
Alec was super helpful and knowledgeable. A++++ will definitely not be going anywhere else for parts and service.
Happy with the service mechanic worked hard to get me out of there the same day could have took 2 days will go back Installed air ride suspension tauneau cover and electric steps
Warning ⚠️ terrible customer service . My truck sat and rotten after Alecs main concern 7 months ago was that he has to many trucks in the shop. So I dropped it off and waited patiently for 7 months for parts to come in that he never ordered. Then they canceled my order and told me to get in the back of the line. Thanks a lot 4 Wheel Parts
We have a 2007 Jeep 4door Rubicon (AKA: the Big Kahuna). We had coil overs put on all four corners. Drew was extremely knowledgeable and our Jeep now drives better than the day I drove it off the lot 14 years ago. It’s a big Jeep sitting on 40 inch tires so that it really saying a lot. Before we took it to 4 Wheel Parts it drove like we were sitting on top of a basketball. The team at 4 Wheel Parts are very professional. We highly recommend them.
Great service!! So helpful.
Exelent customer service, this guys are very knowledgeable about off road vehicles!!!The best in town!!
Dont waste your time calling unless you want to be placed on hold.Heres what I think on your response instead of emailing you, stop leaving people 7+ minutes on hold without checking back on them.It could have been longer if I didnt hang up finally.
Parts came a day early, but the service was slow. Over all pretty good experience.
Great service!!! I have always been taken care of well here. I have them take care of all my offroad needs
I’ve spent several thousands of dollars at this location. When they want to sell you something, you will get the best treatment ever. However after you pay them and order parts, they never follow up with you after lying about delivery date. I recently purchased a roof rack. I was promised by sales manager Carlos it would be delivered within 2 to 3 days. It’s been two weeks and have not received a single call from Carlos. Go somewhere where they value customers. Again I have spent over $18,000 dollars on multiple projects. They take your money and forget about you!!! Terrible customer service.
Took my F250 for rims and tires in October 2019. Store manager Drew Brichford looked at the truck and ordered the tire/rim combination. I showed up for my installation appointment, which took twice the time promised. At installation, they realized the axle caps were too small to fit my axles. Initially, Drew acted helpful in identifying and ordering appropriate replacements. When following up over the next few weeks, it seemed progress was being made. Since then, 5 months later, still nothing after following up every few weeks. Staff seemed friendly and offered to leave a message, but Drew will not return messages or pick up when I call and he is there. Time for a management change.
One of the most helpful places to get work done to your truck, nice guys and very well informed.
Great place for excellent advice and service. I wanted one of everything but was advised against that and was directed to what would really take care of my needs without breaking the bank.
The staff here are amazing! Always quick with service, friendly, knowledgeable and considerate. The manager is very good with finding parts and making sure we are satisfied with what we received. Thank you guys! Keep up the good work! 😎
The guys their are awesome and very knowledgeable Thanks Drew,Cody, Carlos, and Alec all the guys in shop.
I have spent enough money to buy a black land farm!!!!!From the beginning days with Too Tall, Frank,Carlos,Drew and all the others. Nothing but great service. Willing to work with me when unexpected repairs arise. A great mecht team I have never had to bring the yeller Jeep back for a do ever. Thanks to all
Scheduled an appointment for noon to have them replace bushings in my boxed control arms. Got quoted 4 hours of labor plus alignment. Cool. I arrived at 1130 and the truck didn’t get on the lift until 2. Finally wrapped up around 550. Got charged 4 hours of labor plus alignment that I assumed takes an hour (their computer said 1 unit hour)I asked where they got 4 hours of labor if it took 3 hours plus alignment. Explained 2-5 is 3 hours and they just didn’t seem to understand that. They looked at me like I was crazy. Alignment was a 150some dollars and labor was 115 an hour
This is a good group of guys that run and work at this location. I purchased two lift kits through them and had one installed by them on an F-150. Also bought a set of tires and various other things through the years. They are always helpful and have a good attitude.
Simply put, these guys are amazing. I took on a truck that I had no knowledge about. First, the tires needed to be replaced so I ordered off of the 4WP website, ordering the same size that were on the truck. The original tires I ordered were on back order, so they asked if I wanted to come down and check out another set they had on the floor, different brand. I went with that, hoping they could get them on in the next couple of days. They wouldnt be able to get me in until the next week, however Cody ran outside to catch me before I left and told me to bring it in the next day and they would make it happen. Come that day, it turns out the tires were not the right size, in fact the tires that were already on there were rubbing against another piece and it would have caused a blow-out on the road if driven again. Due to the danger of it and their concern, they suggested I call a tow, as they did not have the correct size I needed and could not let me drive off the lot. When we went back into the store, they proceeded to see what they could do and found the correct size at a warehouse in Shafter - so Cody drove out there to pick them up in order to get these tires on same day, and it worked out! Carlos also noticed I did not have headlight bulbs, so he went out of his way to go buy bulbs out of his own pocket and replaced them before I had to drive off that night. This is a long review, but these guys went above and beyond for me that day and I couldnt be more appreciative. They answered any and all questions I had, and provided advice when it came to the performance parts on the truck. They are determined to get you what you need, and certainly put their customer first.Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.
4 Wheel Parts, were able to locate & match on-line prices & receive shipping the next day, for 4 shocks to a 4 lifted truck. Friendly, very good service and able to produce parts quickly. Highly recommended!
Friendly, professional and knowledgeable staff, had exactly what I needed...great place for all your off road needs!!
I went in for a easy job that should have taken less than 1 hour to do, took 6 hours to do, with me waiting there for the last hour. Plus $100 extra for a front wheel alignment smelled a little overboard. Not impressed.
Very helpful and knowledgeable.Salesman had no problem just pricing random things out while I waited for my allignment and were friendly. All in all Id recommend
Great experience as always. Friendly, helpful, knowledgeable staff. They installed a new Smittybilt M1 rear bumper. They did the installation right in a reasonable amount of time. Looks great too.
Today i had to work on my rzr which these fellows worked on and things keep messing up missing bolts and wrong hardware horrible guys just horrible dont go here
Worst service ever dont waste your time just go somewhere else
They cancelled appointment without calling saying there system update and cancelled all appointment.
How many times have you heard the sales pitch, get something different, and your left holding the bag? Well...not so here, they do exactly what they say theyll do! And stand firmly behind there work, in other words no worries!Thank you guys!
I go here quite often, the shop is nice the staff is very knowledgeable always welcoming with a handshake and smile. I will say there pricing is fair very close to online prices, however installation will cost you, but I have never had an issue with anything that they have installed so it has been worth every penny. Other then that their shelves are always stocked with tons 4x4 parts. 5 Star Place of Business.
Went into this shop for a simple Tire Carrier install on my Jeep. Turned into an entire fiasco. Firstly, I wanted a certain type of tire carrier, was convinced to get a different one, only to find out that it was for another model Jeep, so back to my original idea. Next, I wanted them to install it, along with the gas cans and mounts that came with the tire carrier. They had to order it, and it was supposed to take a day. The carrier came, and had the wrong gas can mounts, so they ordered the wrong pieces, Next they couldnt figure out how to mount it with the stock lights I had on my Jeep. They call the carrier manufacturer and they tell the store guys to cut it a certain way and it will be fine. This is good enough for them, I end up having to get an extra pair of rear lights and some side panels for the jeep, that was very unnecessary. So I leave my Jeep with them for even more days, while they try to put it together, timeline keeps getting pushed back further and further. I go to pick it up, and they didnt even install the gas cans, the mounts they ordered havent came in, and they told me to do it myself. When I finally do one of the mounts in the mail, it is missing some pieces that came with the carrier, so I have to call them and tell them to send me the parts. Few more days later and the rest of the parts and other mount come in the mail. A one day job turned into over a week long disaster caused by incompetent workers that shouldnt be working on anyones vehicles. If you want to overpay, constantly get lied to, for a job that takes five times as long, go to this store.
Bad customer service they wanted me to pay extra to fix something they mest up on. This was the first and last time going to this place save your money go somewhere else
Never again
DONT WASTE YOUR TIME AT THIS PLACE.
Very helpful staff
They are a little shady here. When I recently purchased some running boards, the salesperson quoted me a price “complete with the 3-year warranty and install labor” as if the 3-year warranty was what the product carried. After charging my CC I looked at the invoice and he had added in an extra $25 for the warranty and $20 for “lubes/cleaners/HDW”. Hello, who needs an extra 3-year warranty on running boards? And why $20 for the lubes/cleaners/HDW? Running board installations don’t require lubes and cleaners! The manager eliminated the extra warranty and changed the garbage fee to $8.00
Had the tire chains we needed for our Toyota Tundra, but, unfortunately not for our Salam Lite, 2018 trailer. Great service, however, and efficient.
Is there a way to give them 0 stars
Great service. Good prices.
So far my experience with 4wp has been excellent. Fair prices for the work they do. Always willing to work with you to get you what you want. All the employees are 4wd enthusiasts and they just get it.
Dropped almost $4,000 bucks here and was treated like garbage.I was traveling for work, so I decided to schedule an appointment weeks in advance for the job.By 530pm I had not heard anything from the Shop, so I decided to call and see what was going on. I spoke to Carlos and he told me Bad news, our distributer sent us the wrong lift kit so we werent able to work on it today. I was extremely upset that they made me wait around all day long, after giving them cash up front for the job, being told it would be completed that day. I expressed my frustrations to the “manager” Carlos and all he said was “Well, it’s not our fault, someone mixed up one number when shipping the order.” I was disappointed that a manager wouldn’t accept responsibility or even apologize for not following up with me all day long… considering he had my vehicle for 9 hours and waited until the last minute to break the news. I ended up going down to the shop to grab some item out of my truck and I spoke with a different associate and he was super rude about it. He was a white guy, short hair and had a beard. He gave me an attitude when I expressed my frustrations and said it wasn’t their fault. He finished this conversation with telling me that they’d have the kit the following day and try to get it completed by end of day 3/27.I had a tax appointment scheduled for 3/27 in Los Angeles, which I had planned on driving to in my truck -I had to get a rental car to drive out to Los Angeles. I didn’t end up hearing from the shop all day on the 27th.I still had not heard from the shop by 5pm on 3/28 so I called them – spoke with Carlos again and he told me the truck wasn’t finished yet. I asked him when it would be done and he said, “I’m not sure yet.”Friday 3/29 came and no call. I took a drive by the shop just to get a sneak peek at my truck and it was still stock! I called, and Carlos told me that “they had it on the lift and they were almost done but it needed to have the exhaust fabricated.”3/30/19 came and It was now 1230pm and I had not heard from anyone yet, so I called the shop and asked what was going on. The truck still wasn’t finished. Finally 3pm rolled around and I ended up calling them again – they said it was finally done and I came right over to pick it up. I spoke to Carlos and expressed that I was upset, the “same day” job had now turned into 5 full days. I expressed this to Carlos and he just brushed me off and said “it was harder than we expected to install the kit.” I asked if he could discount the work due to the time and additional costs that I took on -he said “No, can’t do anything for you”. This is coming from a Manager! He couldn’t throw in a free oil change after the nightmare that this shop put me through, that’s ridiculous. A little bit of customer service would have spared this complaint and made me feel better about dropping 4 thousand dollars and being treated like garbage. The only reason I’ll return now is because of the tire warranty and I’m sure that they’ll give me a hard time because of this review.I asked if there were any issues with rubbing and Carlos told me no. He said the technicians did minor trimming and they had no rubbing. I pulled into my driveway and my rear passenger side tire got caught on the wheel well and ripped tread off of my brand-new tires! Less than 5 miles on the truck and the tread is already damaged! I ended up trimming my own fenders. I want my tire replaced after this, but I doubt that will happen due to the lack of service at this establishment!!Overall, I feel taken advantage of and I’m super angry. I’ve had my entire week wasted, a damaged tire, and have never felt treated worse as a customer. I will post this review on every forum that I am part of, I will NEVER recommend this place to any of my friends and I’ll take the opportunity to tell anyone who asks about my lift about how terrible the service was here.
I love this place. They have everything I need for my jeep
Buy tires elsewhere!! Called Monday for a set of tires on my company truck. Got quoted $1,500 and was told It would be at least a week. Called Big Brand, set up immediate appointment, and paid 1,150 with the replacement of a tpms. I was quoted a Long Arm kit for my JK in Feb and was outrageously quoted for a Rubicon kit. After reading Ive come to realize this is one of the 4WP sister companies and has a garbage reputation. SHOCKER set me up with a long arm kit at a great price check them out
Just wanted to give a shout out to the team at 4wp Bakersfield. I have had my Rubicon for 4yrs, and they have taken care of me the whole time. Things like honoring warranty on parts I break off roading equates to extraordinary customer service. Bottom line, they hold their manufacturers accountable, and make sure that their customers happiness and satisfaction are paramount. In a day and age where everything is online, these guys are fair in their pricing, and above all they install parts correctly the first time. The shop manager, Tony is unparalleled in his extensive working knowledge of suspension components. I am grateful for all they do for me.
As always Tony was the best for help on my tj jeep
Great prices and great knowledgeable staff
They are just like brothers are close friends, they do there best to make things right for you and explain things
Great offroad shop....great staff
They over sell you things you don’t need horrible horrible customer service
4WheelParts Bakersfield is my favorite off-road business. I have been doing business with them for many years and have always been treated well. These guys are problem solvers. Sometimes tires or parts are difficult to get during race season, and they always try to find a way to satisfy a situation. They even call the vendors directly to answer my questions and get ETAs. Not to mention, the sales are great and they always try to give the best prices.Even though I deal with the entire crew there, I need to mention one employee in particular, Cody Talbot. He has gone beyond the call of duty for me and my friends on several occasions. My friends and I come from all walks of life and have always been treated like family by Cody and the entire crew.I would like to express a special thank you to Drew and Carlos for helping me find hard to get items in a timely fashion with the best prices I could find. Special shipping to my home on occasion has also been highly appreciated. Finally, I havent had a chance to tell them, but my last set of tires (ProComp) I purchased for my Duramax diesel from them came with an unexpected surprise. On my way home, I noticed I didnt have to push as hard on the pedal to maintain freeway speeds as I normally would with stock tires. I have owned several Duramax HD trucks since 2001. I have never had a set of tires make this much of an impact in fuel mileage by providing less road resistance while maintaining superb traction. Thank you 4WheelParts Bakersfield.
Wouldnt recommend this place not very good customer service and was not happy with the work ring gear bolt were all loose
I have had the Best Service from 4WD Parts in Bakersfield !!! I have bought Rims/Tires, Steps Installed. Thank you for Everything you do !!!
Nicer than the one in van nuys area
4wheel parts of bakersfield is a Joke! The most expensive and underexperienced 4x4 shop in town. I ordered a set of tires over the phone and got a price. I pick up the tires and they tryed to charge me over $300.00 than what was quoted and also wanted to charge me over $250.00 for mounting and balanceing 4-31 tires. NO THANKS! I ended up getting the tires but it cost $100.00 more than I was quoted. Not happy but I needed them so I payed it. As for the $250.00 + mounting and balancing I went to a mom and pop tire shop that charged me 40 for the same work. I called about a cv joint for a doubble cardan drive shaft I am re-building and all the sales person would focus on is swaping my front shaft to the rear. NOT WHAT I WAS INQUIRING ABOUT! so I say all I need is the constant velocity but he kept on about some non-sense, not hearing me at all! with out the slip yoke eliminator kit you cant just swap around drive shafts. which he did not mention at all. NOW THATS CUSTOMER SERVICE!! NOT!! I called once about a electric radiator fan and once again i had to sit and listen to some one that had no idea what the hell he was talking about! he continued to tell me an ASE certifyed mechanic for over 10 years how a cooling system worked. I finally had to hang up because the person would not stop about something he clearly had no idea about. they tryed to quote me over $700.00 for two fans and a switch wich I purchased on my own for about $200.00. WOW $500.00 + mark up. makes sense how this place stays in biss! I will never shop or call 4 wheel parts again and I hope this helps some one make that same decision. 4 wheel parts has the worse customer service! Every time I have called I explain what im looking for, sit on hold about 10-15 minutes then have some other sales person jump on the line and ask what im looking for. POOR customer service all the way! Please DO NOT waist any time with these CLOWN SHOES! Thanks and Sincerely the guy that will never give 4 wheel parts my money or time every again..:[
Knowledgeable and great prices. Ive used them for years
