Fresh homemade... awesome...Everything was delicious...hard to make a decision on what to buy...

I’ve shopped here for years, and it kills me to leave a 2-star review. Shame on me though for not checking the product closer. I picked up clam sauce, figured an easy meal. Based on the handwritten date I still had 2 days to reheat. That is until I got home and realized the sticker was covering another sticker, which expired. Sorry, this is seafood and I don’t need my family sick. So I’m out $13. Lesson learned I guess, you really have to scrutinize prepared food expiration dates more...

Sandwich was good. But honestly. The way earring guy treated us. Was honestly disgusting. I found out they had Garlic bread. I asked earring guy for that he’s like no. I’m like. O ok. He’s snapped back and goes. Your sandwich is already made. Ok. Thanks for the quality customer service. Wanted to come back. Def not now. And my girlfriends sand which was missing lettuce and tomato. And put cheese on which she didn’t want. Cuz she is lactose intolerant. I should’ve told earring guy that. But if he didn’t care enough about the garlic bread. Imma not care about this. Cuz he would’ve just said sand which already made like he did with me. O best part icing on cake he slammed the hero’s on the counter. Thanks bro. Maybe you shouldn’t have. So many earrings maybe you’d be nicer.Edit: changed review to one star. Because owner clearly saw this review. Because he responded to another one literally hours after this was posted. Glad to see customer service is key here.

Its like walking though my Sicilian grandmothers pantry filled with Italian delicacies and staples. Breads, meats and prepared foods are exceptional. Even has produce making it a one-stop shopping experience for a meal. I dare you not to overspend your budget.

I cant say enough about this deli/butcher/Italian specialties store. Absolutely LOVE everything they offer. You will find an array of fresh salads and other prepared foods made daily, most served by the pound or piece. Olives. Fresh mozzarella. Delicious deli sandwiches using Boars Head products. A variety of freshly made breads & rolls. Marinated (& non) butcher cut meats (steaks, chops, Bell & Evans chicken, shrimp, pork, etc). Fresh produce, small freezer section with homemade pasta & sauces. Grab & go dinners. Italian specialties such as balsamic vinegars, cookies, etc. Things can be a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for - quality & fresh food.

I spent 350.00 on catered food and didnt get any parmesan cheese or bread. When I asked the counter person said I could buy it. Thats a terrible way to conduct business. I will never again go there.

Never had a complaint untill today. One kid who didn’t want to be helpful, we ordered 2 rice balls warmed up. Handed em to us ice cold and we said oh fan we have them warm, he reluctantly took them and we waited 5 mins only to be handed ice cold rice balls again. Ruined the entire experience

Gemellis is a classic Italian American high end deli. They serve homemade pastas and take home dinners. The sausage, cheese and olive oil selections are extensive and should encourage newcomers to try something new.

Been going here for years, alot less than I want to over past few years because of moving out of the area. Never been dissapointed with any of the meats there.

Authentic Italian Deli. Food is excellent! Tremendous variety. Reminds me of the old style Italian Stores from my youth.

This is the place to go for FRESH meat, homemade pastas, homemade salads, ready made dinner to go, breads, produce and so much more. Everyone there is always so welcoming and knowledgeable. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM!!

I’ve gone to Gemelli‘s many many times for raviolis and They marinara sauce I know they close at seven and I went there today at 10 to 7 the door was locked and they would not let me in they all saw me there and they they didn’t even have the decency to say that they close early they just let me stand there for a few minutes. I am sorry you can’t put signs up that say close at seven and close earlier it was an inconvenience I left from Copiague to come all the way out to Babylon and that was very inconvenient for me.

This is one of the best deli/Italian markets around. The prepared food is outstanding. It can be crowded often, as the place is not the biggest, and they squeeze a lot of products in the space.

We have been buying meats from Gemelli’s in Babylon for the last 6 yrs. After a short hiatus from shopping there, we bought several items on a Sunday including bone-in chicken breast and honey ham from the deli. After 3 days the ham became slimy and smelled like vinegar. On the 5th day we were going to make the chicken and it had green mold on it. We have never had an experience like this before from Gemelli’s. I am not sure if it is because the management changed or the staff changed (didn’t recognize anyone behind the counter), but this recent experience is making me leary of what I previously considered a grade A butcher/ Market. I hope this criticism is taken constructively.

Prices seem higher than other areas, but selection is very good. Try the gemelli burger with marinade in the chuck.

Been going to Gemellis for several years. Great food, excellent customer service, thank you to Dana and Bob the GM and all the staff. Very courteous and food that is likely recommemded. The Zuppa de Pesce was outstanding and the Baked Clams some of the best we have tasted. Enjoy the experience of going to this place !!
