Very nice small shop in the heart of Babylon Village with a huge selection of amazing flavors of balsamic vinegars in stainless steel tanks with spigots. Tiny sample cups are provided. Recipe cards are available for savory and sweet applications such as espresso (for steaks) orange vanilla white (for ice cream), raspberry (for anything!!) and chocolate (delicious as is). There are many full and spicey flavored oils, too. Gift bags and gourmet baskets are availble. Assemble a gift box of sampler size bottles of your own selection.

I was introduced to The Crushed Olive several years ago with a “Trial Sized” gift Of Tuscan herb olive oil and the Traditional 18 year Balsamic. Life changing!! Well, at least salad changing. Since then, I bring the 200ml bottle duo as a hostess gift when I go anywhere and keep the bigger bottles at home .... at all times. Panicked a bit when I emptied the olive oil on Tuesday. I ordered on line and got them in a day...$5 shipping...I’m thrilled. Thank you!!

Love!!!! The selection is amazing and you have the opportunity to taste before you purchase! The flavor is delicious! Hands down the place to go for super tasty vinegar and oil, I’ve cooked with the smoked olive oil on the grill with chicken it was incredible, I have the black cherry and blueberry vinegar which I sprinkle on fresh mozzarella and it’s so savory I keep going back for more! Definitely worth it!!!

I was so impressed with the Crushed Olive. The woman who helped me was wonderful. Being able to taste something before you buy it was a plus. The Maple is my favorite! I brought in the Maple along with the Cinnamon Pear to work and it was enjoyed by all so much that my Manager is going tomorrow to buy her own. Love, Love, Love this place!

I was excited to find this store so close to where I live. Went back three times around the holidays to buy their flavored goodies. The first time I was the only one in the store and the nice lady who assisted me seemed to be new and although she tried to help me she struck me as not very knowledgeable about the products. The second time I was looking forward to buying more flavors but although there were three ladies at the counter no one approached me to assist and when I asked questions they made sure to project that they were very busy with more important tasks. Their lack of attention did not discourage me and I went back a third time a week before Christmas to buy at least six gifts and more flavored goodies for my wife and me. There were three customers browsing and two people at the counter. I asked if I could buy the Christmas packages with specific flavors and immediately was told that they were too busy and did not have the time to wrap them up. It happened that the flavors that I wanted were already packaged and I ended it buying the six gifts but the older lady especially, made it so apparent that my request had been very unreasonable during their busy time that I decided not to continue shopping for myself and left as quickly as possible. I would give them more stars for their products but only 1 star for customer service. It is important to note that the three times I went to were on weekdays in the middle of the day and that last time I went afterwards to a specialty grocery store in another town that made me feel like an important customer from the moment I walked in. I had gone for one item but ended up buying a bunch more. It gave me pleasure to spend money there and will be writing a rave review for them...

I purchased a number of Christmas gifts for my family, which were a bit hit! I also purchased speciality olive oils and balsamic vinegars. Their gifts baskets are lovely. Cute store, I wanted everything...lol. You can sample the oils, which are fabulous. They have many gormet and speciality items. They were well staffed and very helpful. I highly recommend it for gifts or treats for yourself!!

While attending the Babylon Village Fall Festival, my wife and I finally stopped in to The Crushed Olive. Pleasantly surprised. Vats of different Olive Oils, Vinegars, Tappenades and honeys. She really enjoyed the Olive Oil with Garlic as well as the Honey with ginger. We purchased small bottles, to cook with at home. The salesperson was not the warmest person in the world but packaged our items beautifully. All in all, we will definetely be returning, especially with the holidays around the corner.
