It was our first time crabbing this morning. Captree Fuel Bait and Tackle made it such an easy, great experience! They have a crabbing kit that comes with everything you need - trap, bait, line, bucket, and weight. They were also very friendly, helpful, and made sure to have their face masks on. They taught us what to do and gave us great tips and tricks. We stepped onto the pier confident! Will definitely visit them again.

We did everything right, woke up early, got here at 6 to go fishing. Couldnt get bait at 6:10 nobody was there. Hours should say “whenever they feel like showing up”. We would have gotten bait somewhere else last night if we would have known nobody wanted to open the store

Love this place! got everything for u to get ready catch fish or crabs! got my nets, bait, and a few hours later, caught lots of crab off the pier.

After 5 days in New York and Long Island I hadnt met a single unpleasant local, until this guy. Customer service 101 from who I presume was the shop owner. I hired a rod from this place, if it was mine, I would have been embarrassed to loan it to someone never mind rent it out. The spool was half full with knotted, kinked line and the hook was dull. When I returned and said I got snagged up on the bottom and lost the hook, I was treated like a complete idiot as if it was my fault! Part and parcel of fishing! I only wish I had taken my travel rod so that I didnt have to deal with this Muppet.

Great Place, They have everything I need. Its really turning out to be a great shop, better than it used to be. Took my business from a local shop that was rude to the nice guy bait shop at captree.

Very good they did not have live bait they had bait that was frozen though
