I placed an online curbside pickup order for wall insulation. The pick-up process was extremely fast. I had to drive to Avon. Because my store, Berea Rd (W117th) Home Depot didnt have anything that i needed in stock. Surprisingly, i found some beautiful perennials, my stores garden center isnt as nicely stocked.

Was looking for the coveted 12’ tall skeleton everyone is also after. Jake from the garden center was an AMAZING help going above and beyond the extra mile in his attempts to help me attain one to purchase myself. From phone conversation to even calling back with information and help, to even in person when I came in store with hopes to find one, he was great. I still was too late to get one myself but with that much attention to customers needs, questions, & all around great service, I will certainly now choose Home Depot over Lowe’s every time.

The Avon HD usually has everything thing I need or fills online orders in a few days. Lumber prices returning to more reasonable levels from the insanity of earlier this year.

Love Home Depot. Go nowhere else. The Avon store is very nice. Im in Home Depot all the time. Most of the employees are always pleasant. Only issue I have ever had was with a young lady named Molly (maybe Holly) from customer service. Very rude and unpleasant.

First time at this location, nice facility. Not as geared towards Contractors as some of the other Home Depots I use. Seems more taylored to the Home Owner.

Wayne in lumber is awesome. He helped me by cutting a bunch of boards for me, right be fore his shift ended. It took awhile and he went above and was super nice about it. Thanks to him, I didnt have to do this in this in the snow. Thank you Wayne!

I am an avid Home Depot fan and was not from the area but decided to get my flooring on my way home. This Home Depot has to be the worst with their staff. I walked to the aisle. Looked high and low for the correct flooring. Finally found an associate in the flooring department. I showed him on my phone what I was looking for. He sent me down the aisle. I had to ask again, because it was not in the aisle after I looked for a second time. He sent me up front. I waited for a good 30 minutes. The same associate could see me just standing there. But he was too involved with his conversation with his coworker- which seems to be a trending quality of this store. It appears that they have to travel in groups and are unable to be independent. I finally asked the lady at customer service who actually was able to point me in the correct direction. The other lady in the flooring department asked if we needed help and WALKED us to our flooring. While the two men I asked to begin with walked around and laughed.Super disappointed. Wasted so much time here. Will not be coming back nor will I recommend. If you want a good Home Depot- pick another one.

So I rated them 5 stars because they had everything I was looking for and when I asked for help I got a friendly employee who knew the store and merchandise and could make intelligent recommendations. They also had real cashiers who checked out my merchandise. Until they give me a 5% discount on all of my purchases, I refuse to do the job of a cashier. That was included in the price of the goods before self check out and prices keep going up and more people are doing the cashiers job for free. So yes, extra points for having sufficient numbers of cashiers.

Felt as if a man of my color they didnt wanna help or even greet me. Did not purchase anything 😕was really disappointed with them standing around and offering me no help.

Customer service personnel werent quite up to expectations in the large appliance department at this big box store. We had just checked out refrigerators at Best Buy where the sales persons expertise was clearly superior to the one at Home Depot. We will wait until the Labor Day sale starts and will make the $1,439 purchase at Best Buy.

DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT BUYING APPLIANCES FROM HOME DEPOT or LG!!!! The absolute worst experience EVER!!! I’ve been waiting since July, yes - July! Had one delivery date scheduled with no call with a time for delivery - the day of delivery I CALL SEVERAL TIMES for a time for them to tell me one of my appliances is on back order til NOVEMBER!!! Don’t you think THEY should contact the customer????!!!!! Multiple Multiple Multiple calls over a few week period - on hold for hours, yes - hours later, they give me an updated model with a new delivery date - yahoo! NOPE .... I called several times to get a time of said delivery for them to tell me they will call the night before by 9PM - NOPE. I call for them to tell me they have A. no time set, B. it appears my appliances are on back order til November 30th & C. I HAVE TO CALL AGAIN IN THE MORNING!!! Home Depot AND LG You must do better! Absolute worst purchase and customer service experience I’ve ever had! If I could give ZERO stars I would.

It could be a mundane visit to the store. But that all changed when I was greeted by a staff member, Adam. Personally I wasnt in the greatest mood, and my visit to Home Depot was the last thing on my agenda for the day. It was just a typical interaction between a customer and a store associate, but I was so impressed by his genuine willingness to help. It was such a pleasant visit to the store with his friendliness, which made my day. Its so amazing to know a friendly interaction like that could make someones day so much better.

Great place to buy your outdoor things no matter what your looking for they have a great variety of everything! We bought all types of flowers and decorations for our yard! Not too mention theres always workers around to ask for help! Bathrooms are the cleanest Ive ever used in a public place!

Used the item locater on the website. Found it exactly as described. Very handy. I was at the store before 9am. Easy in, easy out. Masks mandatory these days (but you knew that).

They had what I needed. However, they need to clean their electric carts. I went in at 8 am and the cart was dirty and the battery went red after 10 minutes.

The manager and the customer service rep. were completely not helpful....bought a product which they sell by piece and by case, but when I went to return a few pieces, was told since I got it by the case, I either could not return it or could only get store credit?????

As a new homeowner, I’ve been making the rounds at local Home Depots, Lowe’s, etc.I really like this location. The staff is attentive, better section than some smaller stores but isn’t as jam packed as stores like North Olmsted.

Home Depot -Avon OH Disappointing visit. We wanted to find out if we could get bags of mulch delivered. Waited near the entry of customer service and not one of the 4 people behind the desk asked if they could help as they were busy talking and laughing among themselves. Went on to the garden center and the guard at the Exit said he did not know and his job was to keep people from entering at the exit. Picked up a couple small plants and went to the cashier. She did not know but attempted to make a call and finally found out yes with a $79 delivery charge. Ok, we asked was there a price break if we ordered a certain amount (say 60 bags +/-). No one knew. There were many people there wearing Home Depot logoed clothing but no one asking to help or directing to find product or answer questions. We get the need for stocking and everyone not being an experienced worker knowing where everything might be but it seems there should be a viable number of people for stocking and helping customers. A very disappointing visit. Went home with so much less than we had anticipated to purchase.

Still the best hardware store. The selection, ability to reach out to every other HD for items and especially the ability to make the largest hardware company feel like youre the only customer they have, is what makes this place special.

Im only giving 4 stars because Pat stepped up and gave 5 star help,and service. The others sitting at the kitchen remodel desk (4 or 5 with 0 customers) could have not been less friendly. PAT helped us with a new garage door opener. Its always good to speak with a person who actually knows a product and has used the product. So 5 stars to Pat. The store was not crowded for a Saturday afternoon. Store was clean.

Me and my wife were shopping in appliances for a new washer and dryer and Bob took great care of us. He was very knowledgeable and we made a great purchase instead of making a huge mistake. I was very impressed with his customer service.

I just spoke to a gentleman in the kitchen and bathroom department, his name was Rob.We spend a lot of time at Home Depot because of our projects and he was and he was extremely helpful.

This Home Depot is despicable. While I was shopping for a lamp NO ONE was around to help me find what I wanted. Employees passed me by and wouldnt even stop when I asked, Excuse me?. I followed some employees to what seemed like the break room and it sounded like a party back there! Music was playing and people were laughing and talking. The whole staff had to be in there! I waited outside the break room to see if I could catch someones attention. 15 minutes passed and a young lady (Nicki or Nicole, I dont remember) she helped me but was very lackadaisical and rude, I ended up telling her I no longer needed her help and of course when she walked away she had some rather rude things to say about me. I was able to find another associate (Jess or Jesse) he helped me find the lamp I wanted and even walked it to checkout for me! That man needs a raise! Nicki should be given a stern talking to or be let go, there is no reason to speak to a customer that way. Management needs to take a long hard look at the people working there.
