Needed to have some minor front end damaged fixed on my Subaru and the guys at Westlake Auto body did an absolutely wonderful job repairing and matching the paint on a 12-year-old car. it looks almost as good as new thanks for the great job.

They took my girlfriends car 3 weeks ago to start working on it and they still havent worked on the vehicle. Theyve used up all her covered time for her rental. Theyre mad because they did an estimate and ran the cost up over 3500 and the insurance company said it was valued at 2400. So theyre letting the car sit there. If you werent ready to start working then why get the vehicle into the shop?lessons learned

I called in for information on getting an estimate, and I could only be provided an estimate if I brought in the one from the insurance company. The damage wasnt that bad (I have a background working on vehicles), and the estimate indicated things being replaced that werent damaged, so I wanted an opinion that wasnt swayed by the estimate that the insurance claim depicted. No one had physically looked at the damage for the insurance claim, just in photos, one of the quick claims services. I felt talked down to when I expressed my reasoning of not wanting to share the insurance claim estimate until they had given me an estimate. In my eyes, it feels like I may be taken advantage of, over evaluating the damage to meet or surpass the estimate by the insurance claim. I was just continuously told that the insurance company had low-balled me. As if there were no way of them giving me more than the damage total could be (how would one know if you dont see the damage for yourself?). Unfortunately I will not be able to review the actual repair service because of how the phone conversation was handled. I didnt feel welcomed or understood. They may provide excellent repair services, but Im not going to go somewhere that doesnt provide a level of trustworthiness from the start.

I had a accident, looked for a repair place and these guys nailed it!!!! Fast turn around time, matched the color on point and washed my car inside and out!!! Father and son business at its best.
