Walmart hires people who cant speak English, so I asked an employee there a question n her reply was no English theres plenty of Americans out here that can speak English n do need a job,, so why doesnt Walmart hire them.AlsoHeres a warning to anyone whos thinking about buying tires from Walmart, along with the tires they try to sell you a life time tire rotation n balancing for $14 per tire, for a total of $56.Now thats not such a bad deal.But what they Dont tell you is they dont give appointments for that service, so you just have to show up n wait, 3/4 n even 5 hours to get thT service that you paid $56 for.I dont know about you but I dont have 3 -5 hours to sit around and wait. So dont pay for a service that u CANT use.Walmart is a communist supporting outlet n I wouldnt ever shop there again.

Stood im the jewelry department for 10 min before calling them after asking an associate if they could help get someone o we there. When I called them and told her i have been standing here waiting for help she got huffy and puffy with me then hung up so i walked away.

Avon Park Walmart needs to train their employees on customer service, they also could use people that know the best way to grow your customer base is to fix things when the break. I have been trying to renew my fishing license for over a month. They had a sign on the counter in sporting goods stating the system was down so they couldnt issue them. week one. week 2 still down sign still on the counter. This morning the sign was gone. I waited over 15 min no one came to help me, I went to the front to ask for someone and was told that department didnt open til 7am. I asked what time it was 7:01am but if I would go back someone should be there. 10 min later a woman came and told me she couldnt issue it because the system was down, again the sign had already been taken down. Its always something with this store. I wont be going to walmart anymore

It has everything. I love going to buy there. The employees are very nice and willing to help you. The price is super and everything is clean and organized. I totally recommend to do your shopping there.

Very clean store. Really nice cashier. It was past closing time and she still waited for my kids to run and grab something we had forgot to grab. She didnt get up set. She was the most patient person I have met at Walmart. Unfortunately I cannot remember the womans name.

Cashier did not seem aware out to run items that could not be found by the computer. Could not figure out how to run gift cards that was not running by just sliding. Customer service advised me to call 800 number if I needed to find amount on card. Finally the clerk at customer service was able to find the amount. The customer service clerk register accepted the cards not like the cashiers register. Need service on machinery.

Walmart Sebring FL. Is the worst Walmart specially when you shopping online and trying to do grocery pickup. Last time they make me wait 45 minutes at the parking lot.

My husband and I went to buy a small grill today, the young lady called for assistance in the garden dept. A young man came to help us, when we told him what we wanted he said they were out side. We asked for a grill in a box, he said out side assembled. And left. When we found what we were looking for in a box, I went back inside to have the same young lady call for us for help, again we waited for about another 10 mins. no one showed up. My opinion is that he didnt want to be bothered. We went somewhere else and had a very nice experience. Let me be clear, my bad experience was in Sebring. My good experience was in Avon park.

So Im not the biggest fan of Walmart. But I really dont think that people are actually fans of this chain, however, I think that theyre fans of the prices. This location however is better than most. The parking lot is huge and theres always plenty of spots within a short walk of the entrance. There are always carts at the front and its easy to grab one and get your shopping done.The store itself is newer so everything is in good shape and you can tell it hasnt been around for very long. They have all the things that you would expect to see at this chain and especially for a superstore location. They did have multiple registers open, however, we usually prefer to do self checkout, which they also had available.Overall: AIf you need a Walmart location, this is the one to go to. Its on the newer side and has everything you expect.

90% of what you need is there. You need time to shop because checkout is an issue. Need more knowledgeable and pleasant personnel in electronics.

Maybe 50% of shoppers were masked at 4p today. Dozens of families. No masks. Fast customer service dept return. Limited selection of higher priced / higher quality yogurt. Patrons not masked standing and talking to COVID test taker. I feel like I need a shower after visiting!

The stores very close to my home its very convenient Ill be glad when you go back to 24 hours because my work schedule doesnt always flow to fitting with that

I had my lower radiator hose blew out while going through town and I had to visit this Walmart today and I have met two remarkable employees, first was a very nice lady her name was Patricia at the customer service, she has patiently helped first my mother and then my father for different transactions, my parents are old so they frustrate most people but Patricia was super nice and patient, also I met a true antique teenager Paul at the door, this 80+ man who was like in his 50 which I couldnt believe even offered to help my father with his cart and we had a great conversation, I would like to extend my gratitues to the management for doing great job putting really awesome people in their teams, this Walmart definitely stands out from others. I felt very welcomed and felt treated special, thank you to entire team! God bless and keep up the good work.

A lot of items on clearance right now from the outdoor section including plants and outdoor furniture. A lot of summer items including clothes and beach/ pool accessories were on clearance as well.

Under staffed to say the least. Waited for over 45 minutes for service in sporting goods before going to customer service and asking to speak to a manager. Was told only one manager on duty and they werent available to speak to me. Asked for districts phone number and was told they dont have it. Guess they figure if they dont have a complaint department then nobody can complain. Thing is this was during the week and between the hours of 3pm and 4pm. can only wonder what after hours are like.

Sebring Walmart has the best on clearance ever

Your typical Walmart: Clean, helpful staff, well stocked assortment of mediocre quality goods. The retail giant has been improving quality in recent years but still has a solid rough road ahead. The addition of affordable walk in medical and dental services would help seal the deal.

The employees are the best! No mask superspreaders are at this location in droves at certain times, though. Lots of chin guard mask wearers with noses uncovered also. The employees should be earning hazard pay!

Only because I ordered tires online. I keep getting a message stating that my tires are ready for pickup. So I follow instructions on where to go and after waiting for 45 min in the are that I checked in at an associate came and told me that I need to be on the auto side. Which I already assumed. And was over there 1st. I said theyre closed. No says the associate they are open so I go back over therr. I was right... Closed. Then I go back over some kid tells me that my not all my tires are there only 1 of them is. And the other 3 will be here Monday. So which was a w hole hour and half of my totally wasted.

For me this is an urgent needs place. This is not a store that I would normally shop at. The Walmart in Sebring has everything, but the Avon Park store is always short on items. I basically come here for bottle water for cooking or for acetaminophen and also for vitamins. And even at these they are not available at times.

Went to automotive dept. to try and get a tire. Waited 10 minutes for anyone to show up. When the guy finally came in from outside I asked him how long. At least an hour (3 people ahead of me).I guess restaurants arent the only ones that cant find any help.

Im really sick & tired of buying at Walmart, which Ive done for YEARS, but it seems Im spending a LOT of time standing in the return lines from buying defective goods unknowingly. Avon Park store is a much more organized & stocked store than the Sebring store, but the Sebring store is only 1 mile from me

I was disappointed on the selections in home goods and sizes for petite females.More variety of baking and traveling products would be helpful for us bakers.Believe it or not; There are petite females that wear petite sizes.Very seldom do I ever find a selection of such clothing from tops, pants, nite wear, even under garments. Oh not to forget shoes! Again not everyone wears large sizes, some females actually have little feet. Better selection would also be nice.Where are the cashiers!!!!!!Were being forced to use self checkout that is NOT always convenient!!!!

I love the Avon Park store. I can drive 15 or 20 minutes from Sebring & its still faster than shopping at the Sebring store. Its always well stocked too unlike in Sebring.

Its pretty much the one-stop-shop I go to. I especially like the Pharmacy, I get excellent service there.Over the past year their customer service, store wide, is improving and I like that.

I read the online sale add before I went and prices on fruit were higher in store, than the sale add. Lot of shelves had frozen items priced different than in the computer.Deli plate was a good deal at $4.27 for 6 wings and 2 hot sides.

This recommendation is concerning the PICK UP option for high-risk individuals, the disabled, or just busy people who hate to shop. I had never used this service before the pandemic. I guess I thought of it as parking in the disabled zone while being perfectly capable of walking. Then came the virus, and with it more and more pressure for folks my age to just chill on the travel, so I began using Walmarts pick-up. Im happy to report, its been a life saver (quite literally). I dont have contact with anyone, the staff is polite and professional, and the whole thing takes about ten minutes. Now, you might get substitutions, but you dont have to accept them. Theyll ask. And if you buy wine or beer, youll have to give them your birthdate, which theyll usually ask for as they fill the hatch of my SUV. I was missing an item once, and when I reported it, I received a prompt refund. I have absolutely no complaints. Id highly recommend it for any senior until we have a vaccine or reliable treatment for those of us at risk.

We came here specifically to get my husbands covid shot because they said they accept walking then they refused him because they didnt want to open a vial of it now Im afraid my husband will never get the shot they need to tell you that on the website they need to make it more responsive I brought my husband a half an hour drive just to get a shot now he probably never will terrible terrible customer service

This is our new closest Walmart and it’s a great Walmart huge store I just wish that this Walmart would deliver to Camp Inn in Frostproof and I wish this Walmart had a McDonald’s but other than that I’m still very happy with our Walmart and we will be taking a taxi lyft once a month to visit this Walmart and buy our grocery

Peaceful shopping not crowded at all like the walmarts in the city areas and seems to be bigger than most tampa area walmarts

The line was very long at the check out. It took us almost an hour to check out.

I love the Avon Park Walmart. I live in Sebring. I make the drive 11 miles from my home to avoid the Sebring Walmart. I am disabled, but I work hospice and home health so my clients and I try to utilize the mobile carts, they are NEVER charged, if they are they stop abruptly and jerk as we are shopping. The push carts wheels are ragged and lopsided. A client and I who was too ILL to go beyond sebring were seeking assistance, the young lady we approached was on her phone having a personal conversation and really couldnt help my 95 yr old client so she ASKED another associate who was on a personal phone call was irritated with her us and pointed us in the direction of where we had already looked for the items. The young lady did walk around with us to find it. Neither store associate NEVER ended or placed their call on hold. Needless to say we will not be returning to sebring Walmart and are warning other elders that, that Walmart in sebring should be avoided. There are many more complaints but THOSE were on other attempts to have a pleasurable and successful experience as we love Walmart. We can get everything we NEED in one store.

Wal-Mart was great shopping after 7PM quiet except for stocking guys. A few items were out of stock til refilled and I found everything very quickly.

Has potential to be a nice store, its always a mess, needs recovery done, and maintained. On the plus side the cashiers are faster than the Sebring store.
