Used to get deil from here. the turkey pastrami has always been fine. but yesterday i got some that literally had a paper towel inside of it. i bought it back and the lady had the nerve to tell me it was fat. i know what fat looks and feels like. it’s felt and looked like wet paper towels. she refused to talk me and i left. horrible. don’t bother unless you wanna eat meaty paper towels

Went here about a week ago to a few things And will never come to this location again.While i was waiting in line behind several people all scattered by the registers, apparently an employee told to me to go to register 1, and no one around me was really sure who she was talking to, because she didn’t look at anyone. (and only said this quietly one time)She then SCREAMED at me “I SAID LANE 1 WAS OPEN” as i was less than a couple feet from her, making everyone turn around and startling me. (i believe she had short brown/gray hair)It would be one thing if i was farther away, and it would be another thing if there wasn’t SEVERAL OTHER CUSTOMERS SCATTERED AROUND ME who haven’t been helped yet either. No one knew who she was talking to.If an INKLING of this happened at any place of employment, they would immediately be written up of suspended for speaking to a customer like that. There was no reason to yell, they was no reason for her attitude, and i can’t believe she got a job at CUSTOMER SERVICE when she lashes out when someone doesn’t hear her the first time around. I’ve never spoken like that to a customer despite how upset i’ve been. Completely unprofessional and disappointing.I would like to add though, that the pharmacy staff are extremely kind and professional

My wife and I stopped in earlier this morning to pick up a few items for the first time and I was surprised by the broad selection of goods for sale! Store was clean, well kept, and they have a wide selection of items. Great place to stop if you just need a little something and dont feel like going to one of the big box stores. Prices were in line with what youd expect to pay at the big stores, they dont charge extra for the convenience!

Never an issue with this location. Staff has always been helpful and this store has practically everything youd need. Drug Mart has always been the hometown Drug store that seems to have every possible item youd need (including vehicle related items).I give them a 5-star due to the fact of how many years theyve kept the same staff and the original experience I had from the 90s. You guys are awesome!

I too have had horrible experiences with the same person I know who youre talking about but....My latest experiences have been extraordinarily wonderful.So let me concentrate on those.They were such great experiences that I will name the Drug Mart employees by name who took such great care of me.A young lady by the name of Shae, who works in the deli department was very patient and very kind with me. Also there was a woman named Mary Helen who is pretty new and I know this because I was there on her first day who is extremely helpful and who is very caring and does a great job. both of these young women work together nicely as a team. Now add in Mr John who has been with the store for a while and the three of these workers together make a nice team and I even called them that Well one was rapping up what they were done with the other one was pulling something out to cut and they were working together so nicely. Ive been coming to discount Drug Mart in Avon Lake for a very long time and I have never ever seen a deli group of people work together so nicely as the two and three of these people do. It is my suggestion that they work these guys together asteam As they obviously get a long very nicely and truly do know how to work together.I Did not see any violations whatsoever masks were being worn the slicers were being wiped down everything was being taken care of properly.Actually this guys deserve a raise.Im really glad that the woman who was mentioned before does not work in the deli department any longer because I had a complaint about her to the manager before for coughing in her hands and then cutting lunch meat on the slicer before also I see that that did not go very far because then she was also complained about just a month ago.I hear now and I see now that she is working on a register still coughing in her hands and now touching peoples items and putting them in bags so that they can go home and unpack their stuff I think Drug Mart needs to look at that situation also. You do know who were talking about. ...But as far as Shea, Mary Helen and John go very good....job well done!

Horrible manager. Asked for a knock down in price for orange and red jalapeños. Said They came off the truck like that. They shouldn’t. Fresh Jalapeños are full price.

Hats off to the drug mart in Avon Lake, I went in the other day for my prescription and I was so impressed that they were taking all precautions for the safety of their customers by marking the floor with pink tape 6 feel apart, not only in the pharmacy but throughout the entire store, they also have been stocked with essentials, I just want to commend the managment of this store, Thank you for caring about your customers.

As residents of Avon Lake we believe in shopping local when we can. We had only a couple of things to pick up today and started at the deli. There were 2 employee behind the counter, one very polite younger female serving another customer in front of us and a older female that seemed occupied with some paperwork. After a few minutes of waiting to be acknowledged, the employee that seemed to be into the paperwork so much looked up and in a very rude tone, told my girlfriend to stand behind the other customer if she wanted to be served. She was taken back for a moment by this attitude but moved over and eventually it was her turn, mind you, there were only 2 people in line. The rude one tried to explain her having to move on some sort of corporate rule that was put in place. My girlfriend was very pleasant with the young woman who asked her what she would like. She asked for 1lb. of garlic bologna and before the employee that was serving her could say a thing, the rude woman in the back said we dont have that, just regular bologna and looked back down at whatever she was looking at. We did notify the store manager before we left of the treatment she received but, I also felt compelled to share it with others. So much for small town manners.

Nick the head pharmacist is exceptional

Older woman in deli, mask off, yelling on phone to someone, sneezed on the slicer, coughing her head off into her gloved hand and wiping it on her sleeve. Asked me to repeat my order, with mask still under her nose, and wearing the same gloves. Ah, no thanks. Good grief.

Overall experience was so-so. I went to print pictures. The picture quality is great and the machines are easy to use. Could definitely have better customer service though.

This is my all time favorite Drug Mart. We moved to the area recently, but have lived in NEO. This store is fantastic and we’re so grateful it’s so close by. There is so much in the store and if you don’t find what you need or something close to it, it would be amazing.

Great shopping plaza location for this mart. From meds to anything els what you need on a daily basis and are too tired to go to Avon. Friendly staff. Fresh grocery. Fresh food.

This is complaint is about Hastings Drug Mart. Very poor customer service, dont return phone calls . dont bother reaching out to management they dont return calls either. Go somewhere else

Ive come here twice during the last four years, and both times have stood out as terrible experiences. My first experience was getting a breast pump through the pharmacy, and the woman helping me on the phone and at the store, acted very inconvenienced and stressed throughout the whole process. By the end of it, I wished I went somewhere else, even if it was a farther location. Three years later, I came in to pay for a bill at the customer service desk. Again, the employee acted very inconvenienced, made short, rude comments throughout the entire transaction without making eye contact, and tried several times to persuade me to go somewhere else. Im going to take her advice.

I go here quite often to pick up random things since it’s close to home. Most of the cashiers seem annoyed that you are ready to check out. There’s an older lady in particular that is very rude and won’t even say hi back to you. Also had 3 keys made and not one of them worked so I took them back and the 3 replacements still didn’t work. The young kid didn’t seem to know how to use the machine.

I have always had the best service at this Drug Mart. The staff has always been helpful.
