Great sound . space and location. Ducked off but convenient.

Its a cool spot,lots of different options as far as musical instruments you can use throughtout your stay. But the bathrooms are grotesque and there is one female who hops from room to room getting s****faced starting problems with everybody and its extremely annoying, carpets need some tender love and care and the entire place smells like a saloon... Other than that experience was nice

Zach is an AUDIO ANGEL! He helped me figure out the cheapest and easiest audio routing setup for my room. Also this place is open super late. They are super handy and extremely useful!

Great inexpensive practice rooms. The staff were great and helped a few out of towners get together for a fun jam. Had everything we needed.

This an excellent rehearsal space. There is plenty of sound insulation. And the rates are quite reasonable!

Great music spot. They have a lot of space. The rooms are a decent size. Not necessarily sound proof so sometimes youll catch some noise from a room or two but for the most part its a decent space. Lots of parking too.

Rented 3 hours the last hour was listening drummer pounding through the wall

Soundproof rooms - Not even close. Bands on the left, bands on the right, coming through the wall all at once. I could not even hear myself think. If youre a loud rock band, it might be for you. Anything else, dont waste your time there.

My band always rehearse here before a show. Its reasonable rates for what you get and each room is sound proofed well. Youre going to get bleed from other bands, thats to be expected. For the purpose it serves it is perfect for us. And they have PA systems in each room and a nice shop for drinks, sticks, instruments and other accessories.

Great rehearsal space! Affordable rates, plenty of rooms and parking. Includes a store where you can buy gear and accessories and also an awesome little cafe.

Excellent, convenient space for practicing with a lot of character. Extremely helpful staff that go above and beyond, and good pricing, especially for Austin. The in house store is full of all the essentials, as well, so even if you forget strings or picks or doodads you may be able to find them here-- especially helpful if youre here past when everything else is closed and you break a string or some such.

Cool place to hear a variety of music under one roof. Plus they have an Awesome little Cafe as soon as you walk in the building. The two owners are really nice.

Very helpful staff. Great prices in their store. I go most usually to shop at the music store. I have used their rehearsal spaces in the past and have always had a good experience with the space, provided equipment, amenities provided to assist with load in/out, etc.

This place is perfect for practicing with full sound with your band. The various sizes of rooms they have can fit basically any size of band you may have. They also have a truly massive amount of room available to choose from, even one that has a full blown stage! Not to mention they also have studios to record your music in for the right price. The only reason why I cant give Music Lab 5-stars is because it is definitely outdated and a bit run down. There are other rehearsal studios in Austin that are definitely higher quality in terms of the rooms themselves and the gear provided. However, you can feel the history at the St. Elmo music lab. Definitely worth checking out and jamming if you need a space to practice at and live anywhere near south Austin!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. I am not a professional musician, and they were extremely patient with my questions. They set up the equipment we rented, and explained how to use it. Great place!

Music lab is a great place to rehearse and hang. They have food and beverages. Now I can never leave.

Music Lab is a life saver for those w/ out home garages, its convenient to the area and having sound set up already is a plus.Missin the Oltorf location but lucky to haing St.Elmo location open.Great staff.

Music Lab is a great place to bump into fellow creatives, collaborate, and keep up with the local music scene. Bathrooms are always clean and there is a cool CBD Cafe & a thrift shop inside.

This place is all right- when rent is split up between a couple of bands, its pretty affordable... and worth the money to have your stuff stored somewhere other than your (read- my) living room.

If you need rehearsal space in the ATX, Music Lab is the only real choice. Good rates, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and no cops knocking on the door telling you to turn down.

They are friendly and very professionals. I don’t have but good things to say about the Music Lab team. They are a great neighbor and an asset in our community at The Yard at St Elmo Rd.

Yes I went with Rafial, one of the A. T. Boys,Ralphial plays the saxophone beautifully, hesings, but not just sing, he loves what he does and the crowd sees it, his nack forshowing love to the folks, seems to drawthe listeners close to him and the stage andeveryone has the best time, dancing, laughing, friendly upbeet, his familys showsSeem to me, like everyone there leaves at theEnd of the night, as though, we ll see you guys soon, .Ralphial also writes songs thatThe family performs. Theyre very special,In many ways, if you get the opportunity,Go see em, you ll be glad you went.

Good people and practically an institution at this point. Jamming here is pretty much a rite of passage for any young or new bands in Austin.
