As my wife and I were closing on our first home, we knew immediately that we wanted the carpets removed because of the allergens they collect and we decided that we wanted hardwood installed. The biggest questions were: 1) What type of wood should we even go with? 2) Can the company we choose even meet the deadlines we have in place? And lastly 3) Could we even afford it?Searching across the internet, we located Millennium Hardwood on Yelp and I decided to pay a visit to the shop, as it wasn’t that far from our current spot. Immediately upon entering, I was met with a solid display of professionalism, progressing into a comprehensive discussion over the types of floors that were available to be located and delivered as to not jeopardize our closing or move in date to the new home. I also have to mention the display of wood across the show room was astonishing…Stefan genuinely values the specific points and characters of a home that would complement the type of flooring that would best suit the coverage area, while taking into account the functionality it could play based on our day to day needs. Before I knew it he was scheduled for a site visit. I actually had my wife swing by the shop during our discussion to meet him and take a look at the array available throughout his establishment. We were hooked.During the site visit, my plan was to purely address the bedrooms only, as those areas were the only areas with carpet, as well as not to significantly impact the costs involved that come with closing on a home altogether. Knowing the footage and work involved, might somehow be cheaper a square foot – I decided to have Stefan give two quotes, one for the bedrooms, and one for the entire house. Let’s just say I was pleasantly surprised on both fronts!We decided to get the entire home installed and we couldn’t be happier. In the end my greatest worries were nothing but dust wrapped into the carpet that was taken away by Stefan’s team and my wife and I couldn’t be more grateful.The courteous and respectful nature as to how Stefan conducts business is one to be tested, as his operation exceeds our 5 star review.

When we moved to Austin we went shopping for hardwood floors. A friend of my recommended this place. We went and checked it out. After we told the owner about our design preference, he was able to show us something that fit our desired. At first we were skeptics about the recommendation, but because he offered a great price, and that it will add value to the house.Once we ordered they said the job will take 3 days, but in 2 days they completed the job. Best place for hardwood floors in Austin. Went to literally every place to look at hardwoods and found a great hardwood floor and there crew was the best for install. They have more luxurious products but found a great hardwood within our budget and Stefan was great to work with. They thought it might take up to 3 days to install and they knocked it out in a day after having to demo tile and level out entire floors. Recommend this company.

There are three things that really set millennium above our expectations.1) Communication and collaboration were just outstanding. From start to finish we really felt like Stefan and his team were partners with us. They helped us select the right flooring even though it was ultimately a less expensive than we originally thought we would go with. Never did we feel like we were being up sold or pressured.2) Delivery and quality. Stefan personally walked the job before and after everything was done. They did not ask for final payment until we were completely satisfied. Scheduling was awesome. They worked around all of our challenges and hit our target start and completion dates with precision. This was super valuable because it did not delay our move-in date.3) Remarkable, genuine, and lasting Customer Service. This is the third thing, but probably the most important. It has been over a year since they installed our floors. We have called them back three times now for help with little things that we did not anticipate. Stefan and his team continue to provide excellent customer service even though there really isn’t much money in it for them. For example, we remodeled our bathroom and needed a new transition because the elevation of our bathroom floor changed. It’s like a $50 product that surely they don’t make much money on. But they delivered.Go with these guys. You won’t be disappointed.

This is a great company that has some very unique hardwood options. They let us check out tons of samples and were very patient, helpful and professional. Millennium Hardwood Flooring came highly recommended to us by a friend of ours who used them for a refinish in their home so we decided to check them out. Stefan, the owner, came to us with samples and was very helpful when it came to making our wood choice, and I know he gave us a great deal. Our installation went perfectly. Our townhouse looks fantastic, they did a terrific job!

I would 100% recommend Millennium for your flooring project. Moe, the owner, is highly knowledgeable, detail oriented, and was super supportive during the process. I was extremely indecisive about the stain and we went back and forth on options several times. My project was complicated. I wanted to install new floors to replace carpet in the sunken living but match the existing old wood that was in the rest of the house. The old wood was damaged and stained dark, with grooves on all sides. Not only that but the planks varied in width and were laid in random pattern. Millennium Hardwood Flooring found the matching wood, sanded and regrooved the existing floors, and refinished everything in a natural tone to match. Where there were planks that had separated, leaving a dark space, his team filled them with a wood putty so that they would blend in. He tackled every challenge we threw at him. I couldnt recommend him and his team highly enough.

We love our new floors!! Stefan and his crew of installers did a wonderful job from start to finish.After being inundated by high-pressure sales calls from a lumber liquidating chain, not finding anyone to talk to at multiple home improvement and flooring-specific big-box stores, my wife and I eventually stumbled into Millennium, almost as a last resort before throwing in the towel and just picking whoever as we were in a time crunch. We should have just started at Millennium and saved ourselves a ton of time and hassle..After letting us leave his showroom with several samples (try that at the other places!), Stefan made the time to personally come measure our space, even though it was outside the city limits. We agreed to the the estimate and scheduled the installation.Despite our rather warped subfloor, Stefans crew spent plenty of time ensuring the leveling compound was done correctly before installing the new flooring itself. The crew did a fantastic job with the accuracy of the cuts, both for the flooring and baseboards too. We dont even need quarterround trim around our kitchen island to hide irregular or ugly cuts. Cleanup was great and the crew was very nice.Thank you Millennium!!

I did not encounter problems with them. They provided good service and quality work, really fast scheduling, and about 30% cheaper than Home Depot. It will be better if they offer hardwood resurface and solid hardwood floors as options.

I recently used Millennium to replace the floor in my 1000 sq ft condo - I went from 4 different types of ugly flooring in one house to one seamless look and I love it! Stefan was really patient with me throughout my bouts of indecision, and was always willing to draw up an updated quote or provide samples when I changed my mind about materials, thresholds, you name it. I ended up going with wood-look plank vinyl as I was concerned about value, durability, and the stability of my foundation being on the third floor, and it looks great and modern - just as if I had gray wood floors done. Installation took a little bit longer than estimated but the crew did a good job and paid attention to detail. I am very happy with my new floors, and ashamed it took me so long to get around to having them done!

I called the store to inquire about pricing for vinyl floors for a rental home. My old tenant completely destroyed a good carpet I had in the house. I was recommended a few colors and brands of vinyl and after visiting the store I found something I really liked. I think its called Libra. Hoping my new tenants enjoy this floor as much as I do, but for sure it wont end up ruined like the carpet did!

I hired Stefan from Millennium October 2016 for 2000 SF of hardwood and laminate work. Not only he gave extremely good price but an excellent customer service. I am really glad that I hired him and not anyone else. His crew was even better. They understand English, right on time, very organized and cleaned up everything. Millennium Flooring offered the best quote for our engineered hardwood flooring project. We had 850 sq ft of European Oak floors installed, and are very happy with the product installation and service. Stefan is the real deal. We shopped for two months for floors all over town and in big box retailers. I could write a book on pricing, dye lots etc that will bring you right back into his doors. Do your research and I assure you you’ll end up at Millineum. His pricing is very fair, his service is surreal, and his products are very high quality. We are purchasing 2300 square feet of $7.80 sq. foot flooring so not a purchase we take lightly. So excited to write an amended review when the floors get installed!

Beware of these guys. The sales kid, Nick, did not properly measure my stairs, in return they were cut too short. The kid ghosted me and his boss. Three weeks later they came back to finish the job with no notice. Whatever right? Wrong. Stefan, the owner, decided to finish up for good ole Nick and ordered $2,000 of material and installed without confirming with me the additional costs -- material costs which were caused by Nicks incorrect measurements and cutting my stair noses 2inches short. As it turns out, if they cut a board two inches short on all your stairs, Stefan will expect you to pay for their errors!Stefan tried to double charge me for 8 extra stairs bringing the expected install 15% over budget. Downstairs looks OK, upstairs squeaks, and all of the baseboards they installed have 2 hammer marks on them. I now have another company coming out to correct install and craftsmanship errors.Overall, this company is the worst. It took an hour of arguing with the owner that the mistake was on their end (proof in attached picture) - and that two thousand dollars isnt an acceptable added materials cost. Stefan assures me hes the nicest guy youll ever meet - hes not, this company lacks communication, scheduling mistakes, install mistakes are all going to cost you more in the long run - youve been warned. Select a more qualified company.

The quality of a flooring company is largely determined by thecare taken during the install, because the customer can find the same flooring products in various places, at similar prices.I signed up with them for a carpet and hardwood floor, and stair install that totaled over $11k. The carpet install was good, but the flooring prep was a bit rushed. The hardwood flooring install was very good. For the stairs, they outsourced part of the job to a carpenter, who was exceptional. A couple of stair threads turned out squeaky after install, but the crew came back and reinstalled them. Overall they try their best to do a very good job. I would hire them again.

We recently contracted to replace existing wood flooring and carpet with 1100 sq ft engineered wood. Their price was by far better than anyone else. The professional crew of as many 6 workers took 1 day to remove the old and 1 day to install the new. The finished result ways outstanding.

Wow! That is how amazed I am about how my floors turned out. We had shopped and shopped, even looking at the possibility of having our floors shipped from Europe. Stefan did us right. We found the most beautiful floors, oiled hardwood floors and not only did we get a good price, we got an amazing quality of craftsmanship installation. We also had all of the baseboard trim replaced. Every cut precise. Every corner perfect. Every thing done, cleaned up and furniture moved. Had a great experience with Mellinnium. Shopped several other retailers and found the perfect wood at Mellinnium at a very reasonable price. Clement provided outstanding customer service from my initial store visit, to his measurement session, and throughout the process. We ran into a hiccup when the flooring we ordered (which was back-ordered) was delayed nearly a month beyond what was expected. Clement aggressively searched for a solution to solve the problem and was successful in finding the product faster. The install was equally outstanding. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. I had called Stefan to come out and measure floors for a quote on a flooring project we had, and we made an appointment for today at 3 pm and he stood me up! I called him 2 times with no answer, and finally on the third try (at around 3:15) he answered to tell me he is running behind but can meet me at 4. Its really unprofessional to not update your client when youre running late/had no intention to actually meet them.This experience brought back painful flashbacks to the dating days of my youth. Stefan, you are every girl that ever stood me up. And in 10 years, youre gonna see what you missed out on!
