I couldnt have asked for a better experience here!! Gus, at the desk, and Rogelio, in the shop, were spectacular. They offered help and advice on a hitch I bought on Facebook and even found a broken bolt I never wouldve seen. Gus even assisted in contacting the manufacturer and helped me secure a free replacement part, which they then installed for me. Once again, way above and beyond what I expected. Im a new truck owner and new RV owner but all of my accessories will be bought and installed here!!! -Hugo

Texas Truck and Trailer has saved my bacon...twice.The first time was after my ARE Z-Series camper was improperly installed at a dealer near San Antonio. I brought it to Texas Truck and Trailer to get it rewired after I blew a fuse in my new Tundra. They showed me where the cap wiring had been tied into an absolutely insufficient power wire (like thread-thin), causing the overload. They rewired the cap and its been perfect ever since.Most recently I started having some warranty issues, as well as some factory quality of work issues that should have been addressed by the original dealer upon receipt. In addition, the poor install by the original dealer caused lots of damage to my truck over the first year. Texas Truck and Trailer handled the warranty issues through ARE and reinstalled it PERFECTLY. I even had a request to replace the seal with an upgraded, thicker version I bought through Amazon, which they did no questions asked (even complimented it when done).Their prices are higher, absolutely, but their service is top-notch. I am very grateful they extended service to me as an ARE customer and will continue to go to them for future issues or purchases.

Ordered a trailer from them a couple of months ago. The gentlemen that helped me order were friendly and patient with me. For better security I purchased an ARI cap cover for the bed of my new pickup a few years ago. This cap had interior LED lighting and a key fob operated locking aystem. Over time the wiring for the light and lock became dislodged, both stopped operating. Being busy had no time to get it fixed, so it sat without the protection I purchased. Last week, I called to inquire about having it repaired. Brian answered listening to my story, after which he said bring it in we will take care of it for you. So today at the established time I arrived; to my happy surprise politely greeted, they were expecting me, I love a company who understands customer service. I was then swiftly and very professionally taken care of in short order, guess what? It was no charge! Well, thank you all again for everything. Smile

We waited weeks on our cap.They never called us.. we had to call them. They gave us several dates and never were able to get it doneWouldnt recommend them ever.DEAR OWNER:We ordered our cap August 8th. We were told 4 weeks. We called on September 8th and they were checking on it.. no one called back. We called again on September 18th to check on scheduling it and found out it was delayed, but would be in October 9th.Again..October 9th.. no call.. we called you today, October 13th and it just so happened to be on the truck right that second.Yes, it is being installed tomorrow after 9 weeks. While you got a star for helping us place the order, your communication fell after we gave you the deposit.

Texas Truck and Trailer sold and installed a ARE DCU truck topper on my 2020 Tacoma. I was in and out fast. While I waited, I was able to work remotely from their lobby. Everyone there was super friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend Texas Truck and Trailer.

Dont buy your camper shell anywhere else! These guys are the best in Austin and they carry the best brands on the market. I shopped at every camper shell dealer in Austin but the guys at Texas Truck and Trailer were the only ones that really took their time to help me make the best decision. They did a great job on install and stood behind their work, graciously fixing a couple problems that developed a couple months later at no charge. And they have a brand new ginormous warehouse (although I wish they were still in South Austin!).

My Line-X bed liner looks great, and I will definitely return when I need additional accessories installed on my truck. They were friendly, prompt, and competitively priced. They also carry Weathertech floor mats which are a must-have in your car, truck or SUV. The showroom has a great setup to look at bed covers (folding, rolling, etc.), grille guards, hitches, roof racks, and other accessories. It was cool to see how each looks and operates before purchasing a product.

I cant believe to describe the level that Oscar and Rojelio went above and beyond for our trailer. We had a structural problem with our frame that made it too unstable to even safely drive down the road. Even though Oscar had a full schedule for the week and could not see us till much later, he still fit us into the end of his day as he knew this trailer was used for business. He put out his own extra time and effort to help us continue to do business for our own clients. We cant begin to show how much we appreciate how much he did for us in a short period of time. We highly recommend everyone to stop by if they have issues with their trailer as we will definitely be back in the future.

The employees were very helpful. They knew the products they were selling. I had a grill guard and side steps installed. Also talked to them about camper shells for my truck. They were very knowledgeable about all the shells they sell. Prices were not outrageous. It was a definitely good experience that I received from this place. If you are looking to get some quality items installed on your truck or car I suggest to at least check this place out first.

Rick and the guys here were very professional, accommodating and really just great to work with. I had the rocker panels and flares of my Cruiser sprayed with Line-x and it came out great. I wouldnt hesitate to go back for Line-x or anything else.

These guys really did a great job with a difficult installation. It took hours of extra effort but they worked it until it was done, didnt charge anything extra and were helpful and friendly throughout. Highly recommended.

Nice guys, work was done fast. I needed a trailer brake controller, 4 pin to 9 pin adapter on the rear of the truck and a charge cable run from the battery to the 9 pin connector. Tekonsha P3 brake controller seems to be working well. Thanks!

I had to replace the back window of a snugtop truck cap I have had for over a year. They worked with me to get the part in fast . They were very helpful with with working with me over the phone since I was driving 5.5 Hrs to get it done. It wasnt too hard to get to. I didnt have to wait too long before it was done. The truck was clean before and after they worked on it. I asked for the old parts and they gave them to me without too much fuss. The best part was the door worked better after the repair than it did brand new. The expensive wireless lock the works with the OEM key fob actually locked it and the door shut and latched a lot easier now. I would definitely recommend them to a friend.

I needed struts for my Tonneau Top. Daniel worked with me to order the right ones and even helped me install them in the parking lot to make sure they were the right ones. His service was exceptional. I highly recommend this business.

Excellent service. Oscar is extremely knowledgeable and very customer oriented. They have recently moved into this new location so it is still a work in progress appearance wise, but they are an established business that has been around a long time. They did not have access to a specific bed cover I need, but they are perfectly willing to install it at their standard labor rate if I provide it. I have just purchased a 5th wheel for my F350 Super Duty which will be installed shortly. If you need truck accessories this is definitely the place to go.Followup: 5th wheel install took about 45 minutes (the truck was factory prepared for it).

Called them out of the blue with a broken trailer hitch issue (not their trailer - one I bought out of state). They let me come in straight away and discovered it was a sheared bolt. They fabricated a solution out of parts they had and fixed in an hour. Super classy group of guys - I was really impressed.

Very professional outfit. I was shown all the available truck bed covers they had and could order for my 06 MegaCab. Once I selected the model I wanted, they scheduled an appointment for me to get the cover installed that worked well for my looming trip out of town. When the cover had shifted due to operator error, they were very helpful with recommendations on how I could correct the problem. I will be going back to them for my next truck bed cover. Returned to TT&T for the new trucks bed cover. They were booked up and I needed the cover installed. They quickly explained how to install the cover myself. Perfect! I had the cover installed within an hour. I love these guys. I just wish they hadnt moved north so far. I will still return if I need anything they have in stock.

Well, I have to say that I hated the experience at TT & T in the beginning, but after being called by the owner who had read by previous review, I am changing my review. They called our company to fix our problem, but we had already taken our truck camper to get fixed elsewhere. They asked us to bring the truck back in and they added on a few extras at no cost for our troubles. They were very apologetic and we would be more then happy to take our next vehicle to Texas Truck and Trailer.

I live in South Austin, I drove all the way north, I paid my $1500 deposit and went home for them to call me back a tell me the cap I ordered wouldnt fit on my truck. I had to drive all he way back north for a refund. I dont like the way the people do business.

They put in a topper but forgot the bed liner. They left a big mess in the back of the truck, didnt call me when the liner came in, were rude to me when I called to see if it was in. To hell with these guys.
