This man destroyed my Rolleiflex. DO NOT LET HIM TOUCH YOUR CAMERAS. I sent it to him for a simple lens cleaning. Then I’ve never been able to get the camera to focus again properly. The camera is not usable. I sent it back to him about 8 times over the last year for him to fix the issue he caused. And he would just send it back to me in a worse state or put it back together in a sloppy way. It’s like he never once checked his work. Now I’m stuck with a camera that can’t be used. It worked perfectly fine before. Now he won’t pick up the phone. Or he hangs up on me. Refusing to make the situation better

This guy is very knowledgeable and can fix pretty much any camera. When no one else could help me out, he did.

Been awhile since Ive visited, but I had an old camera that needed repair and I was only going to be in town for a couple of days. He was able to fix the issue in that time and still only charged me regular price despite the rush. Very appreciated and would recommend this location for repair and shopping!

I am a Pentax enthusiast. About 1 year ago, I dropped my 300mm lens, took my lens to the only authorized dealer here in Austin. No one could fix it since there is not that many technicians know how to fix Pentax cameras and lenses. They charged me $400 + $46 (processing/shipping), and took them 5 weeks to fix my lens. My lens stopped working after 3 months. I googled and found Eurotech. The owner Sorin is very knowledgeable and he fixed my lens within one week charged me a very reasonable price! He has lots vintage cameras and I totally trust Sorin, highly recommended!

On both occasions he was so lovely, very kind, and gave me great advice. Very reasonable prices, I believe my camera was 100-150 and my lens was 50. Overall I’m very happy with the service. 100% recommend if you’re looking for a film camera! Love my new camera and very happy I went to euro tech.

Dropped off my Leica MiniLux with the part needed to fix the camera. That was in early August with a promise date of 8-13-20. I contacted him a week after the promise date and he informed me that he could not fix my camera. I was told he was going to put it back together and return it in the next few days. Multiple attempts with no call backs of camera being ready for pickup. Four months later I still dont have my camera back...... Take that info as you will.

Nice enough guy, but refused to fix my camera because its not worth anything. I understand that he felt buying a new body would be more economical however I see it as a waste if the item can be fixed. I felt the way he presented this info was a bit rude. I have 4 other cameras I would like to get into working order all worth more than the nikon j1 including 2 pentax spotmatics. I wanted to go with someone local, but from now on I will go to precision camera for my repair needs.

In and out in 5 minutes. I needed lenses. Check. I needed batteries. Check. I needed a new backing for the camera. Check. Very helpful and super knowledgeable. I’ll be going back for any camera needs!

Sorin is such a kind and gentle human. I took my Sony A99 that was having LCD issues and Sorin was able to fix it and not charge an arm and a leg like every other place i got in contact with. I highly recommend him for your camera needs, He knows cameras and i will always use him as my camera tech!

Really happy I found this place! The owner is nice and his prices are very fair. Nothing but good things to say. He seems to know everything there is about all kinds of cameras.I inherited a rather expensive digital SLR from my mother in law because it had stopped working on automatic and pictures werent coming out. I want to get into photography but so far am an absolute beginner, and couldnt figure out what was the problem. I took it here to see if the camera was salvageable or if I should buck up and buy a new one. As a beginner I could have been easily tricked into buying a new one and told this one wasnt fixable; however the owner here told me it was simply a problem with the lens and not the camera itself, and sold me an equivalent lens with a 6 month warranty for a very good deal! Now my camera works great and I hardly paid anything, especially compared to the price of a new equivalent camera.Highly recommend Eurotech.

Sorin was determined to help me decide on which lens would fit my needs the best. He is a genuine individual, and I will certainly support his honest business in the future.

I’m from out of town and went in to get some random things (battery, uv filters, etc.). The owner was very helpful and extremely nice. He hooked me up with some very reasonably priced gently used items, and gave me some great recommendations on local things to do.

The owner is gentle and easy to talk to. The price for fixing my camera was very reasonable. I totally trust this place.

Sorin is a warm-hearted, hard working man with a wealth of analog and digital camera knowledge I have never seen before. He can repair almost any camera, quickly, and will charge you a very fair price for his labor. I have taken more than six different cameras to him and they are now all in perfect working order! He also sells some gear at great prices. If you need a camera repaired, Sorin is your man!

My camcorder was fixed in only a day! It was also very affordable. I highly recommend Mr. Marcu at Eurotech for smaller repairs, specially considering it would have taken much longer and been much, much more expensive going through the manufacturer. Do not let first impressions put you off; his shop is a bit small and cramped, but Mr. Marcu is a friendly man who really knows his stuff!
