Conflicted to review, when I want to keep this place all to myself. Paul greets like family, services your vehicle as if his daughter will be driving it, and is very thorough in ensuring the car is properly serviced. There is nothing I can criticize about their business, definetly wishing Paul and his team great success.

Ive been taking my vehicles to Paul for so long its just easy. Fair more than competitive prices. Good reliable work. Have not found anything his shop cant do so far. Cannot say enough good things about Paul and his team! We had some issues with our work vehicle after the snow/ice storm last week. A friend of ours referred us to Paul and what can I say. I will definitely be bringing Paul my car business! He answered the phone and returned all of my calls, from the many times I called him. He tried to help us out as much as possible over the phone for what our issue was. We did need to bring our vehicle to him and he was able to get it back to us within a couple of hours!In contrast I tried calling the dealership for our Van, left multiple messages and received no phone calls back after 2 days.....We run a locally owned business and know how important customer service is. I was referred to this place from my previous BMW mechanic for my moms vehicle. The one thing I really enjoy about this shop is Pauls consistency in answering the phone. He is very proactive about ensuring someone is there to take your call, and thats pretty refreshing, especially when youre having to call around for a repair.I brought my moms vehicle here for a transmission flush at 150K miles and everything went well, pricing was reasonable and she was in and out in a jiffy. They are very honest and will give you a straight answer on whats wrong with your vehicle.Although I wish things would change with the industry and having to pay for the vehicle to be checked prior to doing any work (even though we may already know whats wrong with it), Im glad there is an extra level of caution to ensuring the car only gets the repairs it truly needs.Keep up the great work!

Paul and his staff are very good at what they do. They provide a quality service, which they stand behind. Do it for a fair price, (I wish it was less but Im kinda tight) auto repair is not cheap. 😜 Theyre honest, I dont feel like they try and plus sell you with things that dont need to be fixed plus they are friendly.

Ive been using Rational Auto Repair for my 1995 Suburban for many years. They are honest, efficient, do it right the first time, and are priced fairly. The do thorough inspections each time giving me peace of mind that my old vehicle will last many more years to come.

The owner Paul is very honest and prices are fair. I brought in my Jeep Patriot because there was stuttering...he straight up told me nothing was wrong but could do maintenance work on spark plugs (which is what the Jeep forum said would be the culprit of my issue). He is awesome!!!

I am a former ASE certified technician who ususally does most of my own maintenance, however I lacked the equipment needed to diagnose some AC issues with my wifes SUV. I found Rational Automotive online, and the reviews made me feel comfortable enough to trust my vehicle with them. Paul up front was very friendly and straightforward, but best of all, he was honest. He could have easily sold me any number of major components associated with the AC system, but he said they found a small leak at the service ports and had me blowing ice cold again for a couple hundred bucks(diagnosis included). I highly recommend Paul and Rational Automotive and I will be bringing my Acuras here in the future for anything I cant handle on my own. 5 stars!

I was in a bind... Id broken a leaf spring on my pickup. I live south, but they recently moved my office north, and I didnt know where to take my truck to be fixed. I stopped by Rational Auto and talked with Paul. He gave me a fair estimate to replace both my springs, but he told me to send him my VIN so he could make sure that the price was correct. After sending him the info he needed, he got back to me quickly, but said that another shop, who specialized in springs might be able to do the job cheaper, and he told me the name of the shop. After checking, he was right.Rational didnt get my patronage this time, but BE SURE that hell get it the next time that I need service. This kind of honesty and integrity is unusual these days.So, I owe Paul a big thank you, and Im certain that hell be seeing me soon again.

Dont bring your car here. They wanted to charge me $2,650 to change an ABS control module. Googled it and saw it should cost about $550 to $700.
