Do not have have Yancey rebuild your motors. They just put the least amount of effort in and do not to lake price in what they do. They only want the rebuild money and then you spend 1000s on fixing your motor at other shops. We spent 38k rebuilding a motor there and told them not to use old parts or hoses. We get truck back with old hoses and clamps. We even took it back to their shop and they made us pay to prefix the old hoses they put on. They put old gears back into th motor that were clearly worn out but supposedly passed get spec but completely fail 60k mikes later fully worn out. Not that the first 30 years in that motor had anything to do with the initial wear. They will have an excuse why something failed that was not their responsibility. They only want your money and do not stand up to their word. They did a king pin for us and it failed immediately. They did not catch that the axle needed to be sleeved and just put a kingpin set in. We brought it in to get an alignment and was told the kingpins were bad. We made an apt with them to get them redone. We spearheaded a truck 450 miles and put our driver in a hotel. They had the truck for a day and didnt do anything. Said they were busy and gave us a 1500 credit towards parts and labor in their shop. When I called to get a part on their credit, I was told they only said labor. Im not sure how to spend 1500 in Alamo I for labor being 7 hours away and also then told they dont make apts and they were just trying to help us out but they got too busy. We ended up spending 12000 in costs to get their initial miss diagnoses and garbage service on fixing our kingpins. Their response was that our kw missed it as well when they sent us a set of kingpins all it isnt their responsibility. That is how they took responsibility. It is always someone elses issue and not theirs since someone else missed it. Weve had to out on air compressor, fuel actuator, hoses, radiator, sensors such as Jakebrake and temp since those were just recused. They put on old exhaust hosesmoff turbo that leaked a month after and failed. The motor had oil leaks and even out the old blowby tube back on. They wired stuff with old connectors and no weatherproof fittings. Overall it has been a horrible experience. They are nice to you to get you in the door but then leave you out to hang and fix all their mistakes or poor labor. They give you 90 days on workmanship. They dont take pride in anything they do

Go to yancy often for supplies. Yancy should say which building your order is in or your order. They out order reference numbers only they know. When you go to any building to pick up parts its always the wring one every time. They should tell you which of their 5 buildings your parts are in. Instead you guess and guess wrong each time.

Extremely disappointed with the lack of pride in taking care or there employees during the COVID 19 epidemic. A 14 year employee files a complaint with HR against there manager and mysteriously is laid off 2 months later. Makes you go Hmmmm. Multiple employees that have dedicated 10 plus years and there blood sweet and tears into making sure Yancey Brothers succeeds is cast away without a second thought. I cant say its a bad company to work for but, if times get tough and you have dedicated 10 plus years they cast your dedication asside for lower paid unskilled workers. They use a national crisis to to get rid of life long employees instead of making sure their employees are taken care of. TRULY DISAPPOINTING
