I’m well pleased with the professional customer service that I have received at this location from Lynn. Lynn makes you feel comfortable with his pleasant greeting, and friendly smile when you walk into the office. He gives you his undivided attention to see what you need, and how he can help. I was so grateful when he went “over and above the call of duty” to help me remove an item from my old unit into my new one. I know that this was not a part of his job duties, but he volunteered to help me just because I needed help. I will surely refer folks to this storage facility because of Lynn’s kind and sincere customer service!

Absolutely outstanding customer service from Stephanie and Barry. I am HUGE on customer service and will even pay more to get it! I received great service here and actually ended up paying less than I expected. The process was easy and smooth, the grounds are clean and kept nicely. I recommend this place 10 out of 10!

I rented a 10x15 unit originally at $159/mo. They raised my rent to $171/mo and then to $183/mo over 2 years they now raised it to $212/mo. This made me do some digging. Their website states this unit is $156/mo.I called and inquired as to why there was such a big price difference. I couldn’t get a straight answer and notified them I would be moving out. I paid the $212 for the month and found a new unit to move to. I moved out 13 days into the billing cycle. They sent me a notice of termination as soon as my van cleared the gate and offer no proration for the unused portion of the month. So not only did they vacate me earlier than my term but they don’t offer a prorate so they can double dip.Do yourself a favor and rent somewhere else.

We’re renters for over 6 years now and don’t know if the facility has new owners or what but we love the young gentlemen who now works in the office, facility has a better look plus all the new workers are top notch respectful. Don’t know what going on but I appreciate not having to always look over my shoulder when I’m at my storage for my safety! Totally different type of business!

I have had a positive experience so far and with the assistance of Lynn he makes it even that much greater! Lynn is a great guy, hes professional and gets the job done. A huge thank you to him as the Manager!

Don’t remember the manager name but he’s so kind and has really good moving tips that helped us get moved a lot easier. He’s truly a moving expert.

Would love to see a different gate but the facility and the manager is amazing. We came over from Cube Smart because the prices just kept going up and up. You guys have a really good manager plus we love the twenty-four hour access!

The place is accessible 24/7 and the manager lives on site u can ask for anything more than that. Lynn handles situations professionally rather if it’s a simple issue or something more complicated. Regardless the issue the new manager Lynn handles things professionally and swiftly with a great attitude.

I slipped as soon as I got out of my truck and fell on my back .. also we could definitely use another light on road D on the east side But other than that this place is the place to store all your things..The people are so willing to help you. If I could give it to 0 stars or negative Stars I would. This place is a joke. They call themselves security Self Storage. What a joke. The Place is getting burglarized every other day. ( I say that because of the in a few months I was there I had talked to eight if not 10 other tenants that have been burglarized . Everything from four-wheelers stolen to a Ford mini-van) Crackheads just walk right threw their gates all the time . Far far from a secure self storage complex at all. more staff turnovers than you can shake a stick at. And if you dont get burglarized they will evict you for no reason right after you pay your rent. Then they will say its in the contract we just have to give you a 10-day notice we dont need a reason why but its time for you to go thank you for paying your rent. But you not welcome here no more. Well thats the impression that I get because when I was moving my belongings into the complex the property manager had just evicted a whole bunch of people I think 5 maybe nine people the windows had been broke out the office because somebody was upset with them. And theres some graffiti on a couple garage doors from somebody else. And the property manager is like oh I just went through a round of evictions I have some unhappy old tenants and I was like hmm things happen. And then I seen it happen again like 3 weeks later to a bunch of people. I remember all of the commotion at the office and in front of the building. And then a few weeks after that it happened to me. They evicted me for no reason right after I paid my rent After raising a large stink inside the office I was told I would receive a prorated amount for my portion of the rent that I paid that they had not allowed me to stay any more. So after waiting approximately four maybe five weeks I had never seen a check in the mail I had called and asked upon it the female manager has informed me the checks in the mail it comes from home office so you should be receiving it here shortly. I was like okay sure patiently waited another must be 5 weeks now 6 weeks and I just call backed up there and asked upon where is my check for my prorated amount. And another new property manager says well sir youre not can be getting a refund after reviewing your account do you dont receive a refund. And that was after being told that my check was already in the mail multiple times from other management dont believe anything they say. They get burglarized all the time and stay far far away. That is unless youre into them kinds of things.

Horrible place no security. Units broken in to all the time and management simply locks the unit back with other locks untill u come to them during office hes.

My only real complaint is the lack of cameras on a number of their storages. Otherwise the staff is awesome and happy to work with you depending on your situation.

Fast and easy what we all like in 2021!

This place is really awful Ive been accused and threatened get kicked out and now Im to the point where I could tell that theyre gonna to just kick me out. So I give it another week and I believe I will be getting a notice to vacate the premises so Ill update this in a week and let you know whats going on renting from this place I just want say come here is the best place on Earth because theres plenty of other storage units out there that you could choose from and just leave this one Alone.

This is my first ever storage rental! And i have to say i like it very much! I went and spoke to two other storage units around the iliff and peoria area and i was not impressed. At one, the lady in the office didnt even show me the rental unit i had reserve. And the other one said my reservation didnt show up in their system. On a limb, i went to Security Self-Storage and was greeted warmly by the general manager, Brittany Balderrama. Not only was she fore coming with the information to my questions but she showed me the units available even though it was in the 20s that day. I appreciate the fact that i can go into my unit anytime of the day with their 24/7 access (Unlike others that have a cut off time at 10pm to access your unit). I tend to go late at night to get/drop off things to/from the unit, and i have seen a security patrol up and down the aisles doing its round. It gives me piece of mind that my property will not be broken into and vandalized.

Brittany is pleasant, Helpful,And from what I see she is Always So busy doing an Awesome job!

Haven’t been to my storage unit in months and on arrival to get some things out for our camping trip we noticed how quite and clean this storage grounds was.

Golly! the woman who manages these units is beyond gorgeous. Plus her attitude just makes her that much badder its not hard to notice you can just tell she a real one.

I have stored my stuff here for months and not had one problem at all. the entire place is always clean and tidy., the people that work there are always friendly and ready to help! I have even been late on pymts and had no problems at all they really work with you

Shane is amazing. She helped me so much. I couldnt be there with my movers. Shane locked my unit for me after the movers left and held my key for months. I couldnt have done it without her. Its clean and security is great. A very good experience. Definitely would use again.

New management is very courteous and knowledgeable got a great deal and was quick and easy.

This location has people living in the units. They are treating this location as an apartment complex. They have security and a manger there and my unit was still broken into and other units as well. The owner responded it is someone I know. That is not true because they have a codes to get in and out and no one had my code and my code was not used during this time because they checked the logs and cameras. They cut the lock and had enough time to go through my stuff without getting caught. I was in the office with the manager and the police when another tenant came in to report her unit was broke into. Do not go there because your property will not be secure. The owners response to my post was unapologetic and judging like it is my fault there manager, security, codes to get in and out, cameras and locks is not enough to keep my property safe. The truth always comes out!!!!

I reached out to this location and I spoke with a lady who had told me that the 10×15 unit I wanted had just been rented out 10 minutes before. Okay....so I settle and decide Ill go with the size smaller 10×10. I explained that I am needing a new storage provider due to an unpleasant experience with a different storage company and that in order to be able to make the move there was going to a couple weeks where I had to be paying for 2 units (old & new). I was then informed that I would not be able to receive ANY promotions that were advertised online, no free 1st month and not even the price shown on the website for that sized unit so it would cost me a good $40-50 more. She explained that since it was yhe only 10×10 left then her SYSTEM would block all promos. I decided they obviously didnt want me as a customer. But what got me was then I called a Security Storage location just a few miles up the street, and they also had 1 10×10 left...But they were more than happy to give me the promo to secure me as a customer. So I was obviously lied to when told the SYSYTEM wouldnt allow any promos of any sort because the system allowed it under essentially IDENTICAL circumstances with the exception of the physical location and level of customer service from who I spoke to. Sad.

This place is disgusting !!! Mice everywhere and the chewed up all of my linens and they wont do a thing, not even an apology. Dead squirrel that was half eaten in my unit as well. Homeless people camp out there all day and some even sleep in the units. DO NOT STORE YOUR THINGS IN THIS PLACE........................

This is the best storage facility Ive have ever used! They are clean, dry and bug free! The people who run this storage are kind and caring and will reach out to you in a kind manner always! They care about each and every tennant like you are family. I highly recommend that if you have to store your belongings to do it here!! Thank you Security Storage!!

Your warehouse is insecure. It was stolen. You didnt send me any information or call me. There is no guarantee of safety at all.

This place loves to break common tenant landlord laws in this state of Colorado. They told me I was caught on video camera drinking a beer when I havent had any alcohol in 22 years. when I tried to explain that to them they didnt believe me put an eviction notice under my door on January 20th. Which I never saw my rent was paid up until February 4th. I got a call yesterday Sadie that if I didnt have my stuff out of there within the next two hours they would overlock it. Which when I got there they had done that already anyway. Even my attorney called them and was completely uninformed what can a landlord/tenent Agreements are and what the law states you can and cannot do. They broke several of them not only will I not rent from security self storage in but I will make sure that their tenants and other possible tenants dont rent from there either. What a joke these people are. If I could give it a zero Stars thats what it would get

I would highly recommend this business to anyone that is looking for a secure clean and super customer service company I doubt with him for over 4 years and they could not have been more accommodating I recently had to relocate my belongings but I am coming up on a position 2 return to security Self Storage and should that opportunity presented itself I will move back with absolutely no hesitation I cant speak for the other locations but for this one in particular they are all superb and if I could I would give them a 10 star rating! The GM here is extremely friendly, prompt, and helpful. I was given my first month free for a storage unit because of a promotion they had going on. The facility is clean, easy to navigate and as described.

The day I went to look for a storage unit the office was very busy. When it was my turn the gentleman working in the office was polite and professional. They had very few empty units and only one 5x10, unlike other places they still offered a discount on the first two months rent. Very happy with their service and the unit I recieved.

We called the day before we needed to move in to ensure that there was a unit available and were told it would be held for us. We were also told that the first two months would be half priced. We spoke with the manager twice the day we were coming in because of snow storm. When we showed up he informed us that they would not honor what they had told us because it was the last unit. It felt like he wanted us to get there first so we would feel stuck and forced to take it. Couldnt this information have been relayed on either of the calls we had this morning?

I want to express my gratitude and appreciation for the current manager Tangie at the Iliff location. After many years with Security Self Storage, I have met several managers whom I have personally liked. However, there is something outstanding about Tangie. Tangie has especially made me feel valued as a customer and put an exceptionally positive face of customer appreciation on the company which is so important for any client. I am deeply appreciative.

First time i ever canceled a storage unit and i been using storage units for 10 years. I canceled the 2nd day reason being is many reasons that all tie to each other in unison. Expect the nosy busy body manager who is there 24/7 to patrol the area. These people take their jobs way too seriously, they treat this place which already has surveillance on every corner like Border Patrol on the Mexican border. If you do not mind nosy people looking inside your storage unit accidentally on multiple occasions or locking up your unit without asking you this will be your best place to store.Also she has a janitor who drives on a beat up golf cart and casually peeks in other peoples storage unit to see what they are doing. When i was unpacking i saw him go around in circles 4 times and do the same thing. Most definitely the nosiest busybody management/janitors i ever stored under. Left on the 2nd day and got my money. Went to Uhaul way better
