Have good produce but not the meat. I got catfish and when I was going to use it it has spoiled this happened with chicken drumsticks too in another occasion.Took it back to the store and was able to get a refund and that was that.

The perfect stop for hard to find authentic Mexican products. Fresh meat and produce. Also a great ice cream shop after the checkout aisle. I wish there were stores like this all across the northern counties. We drive 2 hours once a month to stock up at this store but its worth it.

I drove 15 miles just to get the best prices Super Mercados El Güero advertises on tv especially in meat since it got expensive because of the pandemic. In fact, they have the best prices. But, unfortunately I regret driving that many miles just to realize that you get what you pay for. I spent 225 dollars in groceries mainly meat. Once I arrived home and cook 3 pounds of their skirt steak I almost break my jaw trying to chew it; That wasn’t skirt steak that was more like brisket. I was ashamed in front of my family just because I trusted the quality of meat that Super Mercados El Güero offers. Im very disappointed and it is so sad that they take advantage of the difficult time we are living because of the pandemic, advertising good prices for low quality product. So far i can only speak for their meats since I haven’t been able to try the rest of their groceries but I won’t be surprised if I don’t like them. I Sincerely hope that this review might help others.

The store is just your typical supermarket catering towards the Latino community. Clean and very well stocked with all kinds of Mexican products. They have an ice cream shop, butcher shop, Mexican bakery and a Mexican restaurant inside the store. The restaurant has lots of good lunch specials at very reasonable prices for the amount of food portions and quality. If youre near the area and hungry!! Try the restaurant. Theres always something new.

I was there 3 weeks ago and the people from Royal prestige told if I want to win something so I suppose win and FRNCISCO coming and I order something and two day later I cancelled the order he never call me. I have over 3 weeks waiting for my money back. PLEASE, PLEASE don’t by anything from this guy they are scams. This store need to cancel their permission of been there.

Careful people they will rob you when you ask for arrachera, next time you visit this store make sure you check the weight and compare it to see if they are giving you less. The excuse they use is that they remove the grease and thats why it is less, Im sure im not the only one, double check the weight next time you buy from there. Sad thing is that person in charge agrees to that. To me its called robbery especially if you dont tell the costumer that they will take of like half a pound when you ask for 4 pounds. Will recommend people not to buy meat there if you dont want to get robbed. Little by little they are stealing from costumers. They have been doing that for years.

Loved the great deals and My kids loved the ice cream, And a outstanding great cashiers especially the young girl keyla and the young guy that had a Nike hat really great people on helping me put my bags away and asking how my day went ! I have been going to EL GUERO for more than 7 years. Love the fresh fruits and vegatables. Great selection and prices. The deli is good and so is the fresh meats at the butcher. Bakery shop is not bad. The service is good.

Good place to get produce, baked goods and meat! They have a large variety of these. They also have cheap tortillas that are freshly made in the store. The prices for other groceries and household could be better. Theres a cafe inside that sells food and ice cream!

Bananas were pretty expensive, over 0.70 cents per pound. The quality of their produce has gone down over the years and meat quality is questionable but its to my home and its convenient to get to when I need something fast

I wanted to buy a cake to take my family’s Christmas get together.I was recommend a cake by the cashier at the bakery department. As I was walking to the register, something told me to check the expiration date. When I did I realized the cake had expired a week ago!I informed the cashier who recommended me the cake and she responded by saying( in Spanish), “oh! Well it’s up to you if you want to buy it. Obviously it’s expired but it’s up to you if you want to take that risk or not.”Needless to say I did not buy the cake. Kindly told the cashier thank you but I was going to pass on buying it. I was shocked that a worker that handles food would suggest such a thing to a customer versus just taking the cake.To make matters worse she put the cake back in the display to sell to someone else!I decided to check what other options were in the backery. I found some bundt cakes in the milk/yogurt area. Checked the expiration date and all the cakes were missing a date but did have a sticky residue to were a sticker might be.Why is a grocery store not only selling expired food but worst of all why are they telling their customers “they can buy it but it’s a risk you have to take!”Sadly, when I shared with my family my experience they weren’t surprised saying that they have heard of people they know sharing similar experiences with encountering expired food from here.

This grocers fruits and veggies go bad real quick. I have found close to expire dates on lots of foods and dairy products. Their displayed pre packaged meat is often turning brown from either sitting to long or their refrigeration just is not doing its job.

Its okay, I feel like the produce goes bad very quickly, I like going there when Im in a hurry and dont have time to go else where, I dont like the meat section due to in the past Ive bought chicken and there was green stuff on the bottom side where its not visible through the packaging, deli section is okay there have been times where I ask for Polish Krakus ham and the will give me some other b.s I forget the name of it. sooo its okay I do go but its not my to go grocery store. I like the aguacate and the zucchinis I mean there is a few things I get.

Is a good little store. Staff is friendly and during these trying times, they have taken all precautions to keep their customers safe.

Terrible service. I went to the restaurant part. The woman behind the counter was on the phone for about 8 minutes with me standing right on front waiting to order. Finally I just left. Phone call was more important than costumer service. Bad business.

Taqueria: I came in excited, and I left disappointed. I ordered a chicken tostada and an al pastor taco. The tostada shell was soft and broken up because the cook didnt bother to drain the excess oil from the chicken. They were also very skimpy with the lettuce and tomato. There was a huge chunk of grissel from the chicken that I nearly broke my tooth on. The al pastor was ground up too much, and had a weird, greasy aftertaste. I just wasted $5.48. Only 6 different dinner options, priced at no less than 7.59. No lunch specials or lunch menu, but they do have a daily 1.79 taco special for ground beef or chorizo con papas.
