Really delicious food in the deli, inexpensive and fresh. The meat, cheese and smoked fish counter and the pastry counters had great looking selections, and the supermarket area had quite an impressive collection, labeled mostly in Russian. The kebab, cabbage dumplings and apple turnover were so yummy. Looking forward to tasting other foods here.

Overall the best Russian food grocery store in town. Some of the best prices on many items and great selection of culinary/buffet items - cooked meats, salads, cakes, bakery - always fresh and delicious. Their pies (пирожки) are the best!

Nice service. The lady selling the sausage was very knowledgeable, professional an helpful . I got also a bunch of fresh dill ... something not easy to find anywhere else. Highly recommend.

This neighborhood style market is outstanding! I just happened to notice it while shopping at Big Lots, located in same plaza area. I walked in and was warmly greeted. I was then escorted through the market and given the grand tour with a lot of offered samples (meats and cheeses). I didnt catch her name (still relearning manners after being cooped up due to pandemic), but the woman who escorted me provided a wealth of knowledge and information on the origins of the slavic food varieties offered. Of course I made some purchases, both because the food was just to delicious to pass up but also because of the warm reception and time I was given. Upon making my purchase, she threw in a Russian chocolate bar on the house.. but the review gets better! I left one of my items only to realize when I arrived at my home. I called them and they said they had it and would keep it refrigerated until I come in and pick it up. A few hour later I entered the market and again was greeted with friendly smiles along with my purchased food item AND an additional box with a couple pastries to try. Im telling you the kindness of strangers never ceases to amaze.. and yet, these are not strangers but folks in our community providing some delicious cultural foods to bland palleted folks like me. Thanks again Royal Gourmet! Youll be seeing me back in soon. Highly recommended

So much fresh products and I was helped by the sweetest lady. I will define go back and tell everyone I know about this place.

Friendly counter service. The lady that helped us behind the deli counter was patient and gave us samples of items that we werent familiar with. We had these super tasty cakes, one like a creamy soft graham cracker layer cake, the other a creamy layered one with a toasty hazelnut baked meringue layer and with a dark chocolate top layer. If you arent sure what something is, just ask, as most items are in Russian. They have a limited bakery section, but do have lots of meats and lots of candy. We found these dark chocolate candies that are like a ferrero rocher and they are amazing!

Great Russian and Slavic grocery store, Deli and Bakery. Like the fresh cooked items. Candy and sweets are big selection, very cool. Coffee and teas have the great Euro stuff. We hit this place at least once a week. Clean place. Prices are reasonable. Worth a stop to support a local store with unique foods.

Big variety of European foods. Amazing shish kebabs. Huge variety of ready to eat salads. Freshly baked breads. Sea food is also available. Delicious baking goods. Huge variety of cheese and meats. Even though its a far drive for me (35 min), I still go there because I know when Im there i will not leave empty handed because everything is delicious. I definatelly trust those people preparing my food.

Such a selection of different foods, drinks and candies. I had to try everything. If you need bread, they have loaves and loaves of fresh baked bread. Selections of deli meats and cheeses and a fresh deli food section as well!

Great shop, but do yourself a favor and dont mention the niche quality of this shop. They will inform you that the products they sell are available in many places around Denver and there would be no reason to go out of your way to go to Royal Gourmet.

I love this store. If you have ever wanted to explore Russian cuisine I recommend this deli. They have a huge deli section with pre-cooked foods and pastries probably 30 dishes or more to choose from with fresh baked bread as well. There are no labels or if they are theyre in Russian however, the women behind the counter are very helpful with explaining whats in the food . The best part about this deli is everything is fresh you can even see the women baking and preparing the foods in the back of the store.There is also an aisle devoted to Russian candies bin/style. And a meat and cheese deli by weight.

I drove by this numerous times and did not realize this was a Russian grocery store. This place is amazing! Went because of a recommendation. Holodets (meat jelly eat with a warm potato) and Dadu (ice cream like cheesecake bar). The pastry was good too. I also hear the cheese,sausage, salad, and candies are great also. Can’t wait to go back and buy more stuff!

They have lots of good choices for ethnic eastern European and Mediterranean food. Most of their food is fresh, but not always. Also, customer service is hit and miss; some are very nice, others not so much.

The other reviews are correct... the ladies that work here are rude. At least the one I dealt with, blonde younger lady at the register.They don’t have any prices on anything so they can make up whatever price they want on the spot.. $4.99 for a Kinder bar? You must be crazy.Get better customer service.

Wonderful place. Took thwir time explaining item to us and very helpful. 3rd time in and they recognized us. Potato salad is great and will be gping back to continue to try new items.

I have been going to this store regularly for the past several years. Every time I have received great service, good fresh quality food, and pleasant atmosphere. Their ready to-go foods are highly highly recommended, salads, main dish foods, and pastries. Very affordable and cooked there in the store.

Deli foods include home cooked dishes and pastries that are good price as well as delicious. european/russian grocery and tea selection.

We wanted Korean carrots, but what they call Korean carrots was nothing close to what Korean carrots really are. No spices at all. The oil I purchased was bad and spoiled. Not impressed by this place at all.

Everything perfect except cashier- yang but her mood......

If you are Russian or love being treated like a dog this place is just for you. But if youre anything else you might just wanna go to any other euro deli in the Denver area. The cashier has been awful to me every single time for 2 years and today I called it a day and asked to speak with her manager. She said theres no one else there. When I asked if shes autistic she said no and when I asked if she gets what Im saying she also said no. Mind you she speaks English just fine. Not sure what her problem is but I feel less than welcome so Im not going back. I thought we slavs are nice to other ones from our corner of the world - well not that chick apparently.

I took a fish, with bones, and it was aquatic, twice frozen. Carried away. Klas!And they threw sugar into a large potato, crunching in the teeth. And not to say go back, we will fix everything, they told me that it was not our mistake. And the cashier does not even understand Russian.

Good store. They recently learned about him. Lots of different dishes, from salads and main courses, soups and snacks. Well done👍
