This was the cleanest African store i have been to, and u have lived in the USA for almost 21 years. Clean smelling, organized, very professional. African stores need to start putting prices on all their products though.

The store owner is so nice! We got there a little late and he reopened the shop for us (after he had just cleaned the floor too!). The store is well organized, well stocked and the prices are very reasonable, especially for the quality of the products. This easily became our favorite West African store in Colorado.

Review №37

Very disappointed with the african shea butter I purchased here. After melting it down, I found multiple dead bugs!! I also purchased some soap and was surprised when I was scratched by a very large finger nail.. in the soap!! I am all about supporting local business but the quality and hygiene of the products here is incredibly poor and unsafe. Please consider a different ethnic mart if you are looking for skin care products.

My fiance and I went into the store just now and they made us feel very uncomfortable! An older man followed us everywhere and stared at us the entire time as if we were going to steal! What?! Then a woman came up to us aggressively asking if we needed anything but she already knew we did not. You should never make customers feel like that especially since weve been here multiple times. What a shame. Just lost our business and more peoples as well. Save your money and shop somewhere else! They DO NOT make you feel welcome!

I used to live in Ghana (6 years), and Im always looking for good Ghanaian food. This store is a pretty typical west African shop for America (in my experience). Theyve got instant fufu, banku, gari, shito, and other local favorites. of course, instant is not the best, but it beats having nothing at all. Im still looking for a Ghanaian restaurant in the Denver area, if anyone knows of one please give me a shout. I gave this store 4 stars because its only one of two or three that Ive found, so its relatively very good.
