Stumbled upon this lovely gem today during my visit to Aurora. It is a rare treat during travels to discover a place that sells freshly made gluten free or gluten free/vegan sweets. It was my lucky day because they had a few GF options remaining: chocolate chip, millionaire (pecan and oat cookie), and macadamia. Typically they keep a limited inventory of GF cookies but can make GF and GF/Vegan cookies to order.Even though the majority of their inventory are traditional gluten cookies - their efforts to develop a GF cookie with a similar texture and consistency paid off!The owner, mama Ligeia, served 17 years as a Denver Police officer and works with her daughter, who graduated with a degree in baking. I believe other family members work there as well.They ship nationwide so be sure to stop in or place an order when you or someone you know gets a hankering for a sweet treat!

Cookies by Designs cookies are amazing and made fresh every day. Their cookies are so soft, moist and delicious you cant go wrong with any flavor.The Snickerdoodle (R) and Millionaire (L) cookies in the picture are two of my favorite.And to top it off it is a Local, Family run business. Desiray, Nichole and the staff are all so friendly and helpful.I highly recommend making a stop if you love cookies!

Had such a wonderful experience from the second I called to the second the delivery was made. The cookies are so beautiful and put together so well! I will absolutely be using them in the future for parties or gifts!

Ordered 2 dozen specialized cookies for a Housewarming Party 10 days in advance. Was told there was enough time to order and get them by the party, however, they were delivered two days after the party. I called them the day before the party when I got the FEDEX tracking number because the tracking number indicated that they would not be delivered on time. Their customer service hours are limited and I left a message indicating if the cookies are not received by the party, to cancel the order as I do not need them. FEDEX delivered two days after the party. I did not sign for the box, they were left at my door. I called Cookies By Design again and said Ill send them back, I want a refund, etc. They said that it was not their problem, it was a FEDEX problem as deliveries were running 1-2 days late. I asked why the I wasnt told that when I ordered and why the rep didnt add those days to the timeline, and even with that, they still should have been received - it was 10 days prior when I ordered. I then said Ill send them back and she said they couldnt take them due to COVID. I told her the box isnt opened. She said I signed for them and accepted them and FEDEX policy is that I couldnt return it. I said, I didnt sign for them. Cookies by Design took ZERO responsibility for my order showing up two days after my event and told me that was the policy. I escalated twice and they still took the policy line and said I was stuck with the cookies. I told them I will dispute the charge, never use them again and write a bad review (and I dont do that normally.) Horrible service all around. I even pointed out that their customer service recording indicated that Mothers Day was around the corner and ordering now to ensure cookies....etc. However, Mothers Day was over two weeks ago. Horrible. Never, ever, ever again.

My brother is retiring from the fire department this week and I ordered two cookie arrangements online. Right after I placed the order I called to clarify a special request I had to make sure the arrangements were perfect.There was a delivery mix-up, I waaaay over-reacted (its cookies for heavens sake!) but the owner was absolutely lovely, assured me she would make it right, took care of my problem immediately and then called me to follow-up. There was a mix-up with the delivery, not my order.I cannot say enough about the customer service at this location. Everyone, and I mean everyone, is customer-oriented, personable and wonderful to work with (from the owner to the person who answers the phone to the delivery driver). If I could give them 10 stars I would!I recommend this location to anyone needing something fun for any occasion. You can count on this business to treat you like a rock star and you know your order will be on time, just as ordered and delicious!

I wish I was able to give more than 5 stars! The owner saved my daughter in laws baby shower today when she made a replacement bouquet of cookies. She was so friendly and helpful and everyone raved over how cute and delicious the cookies were. Thank you so much for going a step above!

I placed an online order for a birthday cookie cake for my husbands birthday 🎂 in the middle of the night for pickup - i came in w my 3 year old to pick it up - I think it was the owner who greeted me so nicely - the cookie was ready to go - fresh and neatly packaged w an awesome balloon design- my family devoured it and raved about it (even how cool the balloons 🎈 were! Thank you for fulfilling my order so promptly and being able to do it! From a mom of 3 little girls - last min purchases is all I can do these days and I was so excited to get my husband the “only type cake” he’ll eat! 🍪 thank you!

If I could have given the Scottsdale, Arizona location zero stars, I would have. I placed an order a full week prior to my daughters birthday to ensure she got her cookies on her birthday. Her birthday came and went and they still haven’t delivered her cookies. According to the email they sent me on Monday, her cookies would have been FIVE days old by the time they get to her. I called customer service and they offered to remake them and send them again to be delivered 2 days after her birthday. I requested a refund and was told - THAT WILL NOT HAPPEN! I’m extremely disappointed and appalled in their customer service. I will never be ordering from them again.However the Aurora, CO location did save the day! The owner was beyond accommodating. She sent my daughter her cookies, sent us cookies here and was able to get us connected to a VP at Cookies by design for a full refund. I highly recommend the Aurora, CO location.

From start to finish it was easy to order a treat to be delivered to my boyfriend. Plus the delivered goods looked better in person than they did online! Finally, not only did they look good but these cookies were delicious!

I ordered some cookies recently for a bridal shower. I placed the order Tuesday and they were ready by Saturday morning for pickup. They looked exactly like the picture I had provided. I was afraid they weren’t going to taste as good as they looked because that is what usually happens with custom desserts but everyone could not stop raving about how delicious they were! The frosting was soft and the cookies were just perfect! Each cookie was carefully assembled in their own little package with bows! I highly recommend this place. Pricing was very reasonable.

5 Stars! I ordered a birthday cookie cake for my husband and added a box of cookies without nuts. I placed the order through the website last night for delivery today- so easy. There is a delivery fee but its worth it, they hand deliver and I am 8 miles from their store. The cookies arrived before noon today.The cookies are everything you want in a Cookie, soft, chewy, crisp outer edge, perfect amount of chocolate chips. The red velvet cookie is a life-changer! I Love to support local business, especially ones that are doing it right!

I came in for 1 cookie and came out with 4. Definetly was a good choice to buy extra because they are so good and fresh. The lady working was friendly and easy to talk to as well and definitely made me want to come back!

Long-time Cookies by Design customer in several other metro areas, first time ordering in Denver. Fast service - ordered only one day ahead. Good quality - exactly as pictured. If you dont love sugar cookies, these probably arent for you though. Additionally, some idea of the time of delivery beforehand would be helpful (the window of before 4 p.m. is a little vague when planning a surprise gift.)

The Over the Hill bouquet I ordered was amazing. I loved the colors and how they arranged the bouquet. Plus, CBD sugar cookies are the most delicious cookies ever! I appreciated being able to customize a few of the sayings on each cookie. That is true customer service.

My twin 23 year old daughters went to visit a friend from high school (along with 7 other girls from high school). It also was their 23rd birthday, so such a fun time was had by all. I had the large cookie cake sent ahead of time and it was delivered on time, was beautiful and delicious!!!

We ordered an Easter Cookie arrangement along with a dozen cookies with nuts. It came out amazing. We had written a message to be delivered with it and they nicely hand wrote it on the card making the message more warm and personal.

Horrible service. I placed for a Valentines Day delivery to my fiance at work and it never got delivered. I called on the 14th around 5pm to ask about it and was told it was out for delivery, when I explained that it was too late, my fiance had already left work for the day, I was told it could be delivered to our home instead. It never came. I called the next morning and was told there were delivery and equipment problems yesterday, but nobody bothered to call me or tell me that when I called at 5pm. Then Im told the order never even got processed. Didnt even offer to get it sent, just that its going to take 5 business days to refund the money I paid for something I never got. I still havent gotten my refund, either.

If i could I rate this establishment zero stars I would. I ordered a bouquet for valentine’s day and around 6pm I called the store to ask about my order since it wasn’t delivered- the owner stated they were busy with a lot of orders and they were not going home until they were all sent out. So I waited and nothing. I called the next day and the owner answers the phone So I asked about my order, then her story changed to the ovens broke down. I asked if I was going to get my Order and she said NO!!! So not only did in not get my order but i never got a phone call regarding the situation. She offered a 20% discount for my next order but really why would I order again when the professionalism of this establishment is non existent.

I ordered a basket for my dear friend whos battling cancer. It was a bright moment in her day and she said the cookies were yummy!

I ordered a cookie bouquet for my sons 16th birthday. I paid $15 to have it hand delivered the day before his birthday. It wasnt delivered. After calling the store, I was told it went out, but I didnt get a confirmation. It didnt make it on the right day, or even the day AFTER that. I ended up getting it AFTER his birthday. I didnt get a discount and I didnt get what I wanted. Dont order from here unless you want to pay full price and not get what you want!!!

I placed a last minute order. There was some confusion with the online order and apparently the website allowed me to order a bouquet that wasnt on the quick order list. I ordered a 7 cookie bouquet for pick up the next day. When I showed up it was ready to go and absolutely adorable. She saw the order and came in early to bake the unique cookies and get the it all ready for me. She could have called me and told me I had to choose another bouquet (that they already had cookies for) but instead she went out of her way to make the one I wanted. This is the kind of excellent customer service you dont see very often these days and I was super appreciative of her efforts!!

I needed a last minute birthday cookie and these ladies made it happen! They were able to complete my order that afternoon and the cookie not only looked amazing, it was the best tasting cookie cake we’ve ever had.

I order a cookie bouquet for my staff for Admin Professional Day. The man that delivered the order was unfriendly. The cookies were dry and tasteless. The frosting colors did not match the picture on the web site. Horrible. I will never order cookies from them again.
