Great place to sell used items. Nice staffs!

I always have great success finding sleek, chic, cute, clothes in excellent condition! Shoes and boots are always cute too. Great selection and all the workers were very friendly and helpful.

Cannot say enough good things about my online shopping experience with Clothes Mentor Edina. I found so many great items and they were shipped to me super fast and all the items I received were in GREAT condition- some still had original tags on them! The pictures of the items on the website were very accurate and I will definitely be shopping here again! I LOVE that they have an online shopping option! Highly recommend!!!!

On-line shopping with Clothes Mentor Edina could not be easier. My most recent purchase was made on 4/29/21. There was a potential issue with one of the items and the Manager promptly called me to advise. She promptly refunded me for that item as I decided to pass on it. So grateful for the call and the professionalism extended to me. I order from many Clothes Mentor stores and not all of them are professional, courteous or as responsive unfortunately. The items were shipped immediately and were packaged nicely, another customer service point that is sometimes overlooked by other CM stores as well. I gladly support small business and will continue to order from them. CM Edina rocks! Sincerest thanks!

This is one of the best Clothes Mentor stores around. I live in Stillwater and although the Woodbury one is fairly close to my house, I choose instead to drive across town to shop at this particular store. The woodbury one used heavily scented air freshners that make shopping quite unpleasant there. This Edina location always has great finds, but even more important is the friendly and helpful staff!

I absolutely love this store!! The staff are always very friendly, accommodating, and engaging. They have an excellent selection of high end brands at fair prices. AND they are constantly running the best promotions. Love it!!

Clothes Mentor allows me to shop guilt free as reuse is sustainable and prices are affordable. The clothes are quality and in great condition. To be honest, I shop mainly online but when I have gone in they are responsive and friendly. It is the best shopping anywhere.

Recently brought in dresses and shoes. They passed on all of the items which is fine. If they cant sell them I understand.When returning to pick up my items I found the dresses rolled up in a heap on the floor with the shoes I brought in lying on top. Have respect for the items which were brought to you clean and pressed! Very rude.

I just wanted to add that the girls that work there are the best. Dont go to Neiman- Marcus, go to Clothes Mentor. You will find the same stuff at a much better price!

I’ve bought a ton of good stuff from here but the last few orders have been disappointing. Wrong sizes, one jacket missing the entire inner part and just now leggings with holes and no tags to check if they’re even authentic (gymshark). I had called about the missing part of the jacket and the manager said I should have expected parts to be missing for $36 as it would normally be $42-$48 in good condition. She did give me a coupon for future use and offer a refund if I shipped back but I wish it was stated somewhere on the website so I knew what I was getting when I purchased. I’m guessing it’s the same for the leggings- $16 gymshark leggings are expected to have holes? You can score some good deals, but be careful shopping their online store.

This location has fun events and always changing inventory with some of the best designer at resale prices. I work nearby and check store and online regularly as their super good stuff goes fast! The condition for handbags is nicely watched by the buyers given you can find Louis and Gucci among the higher end designer. I’ve also done surprisingly well with shoes here. I have not sold to them which is mentioned in other reviews. If there is pickiness to sell, as a shopper it is obvious because selection is quality and top notch and no digging thru racks. If you sell you can get cash or store credit which is a perk!

I have ordered from their website and although a mistake was made, they were very quick and happy to make it right with me. Therefore, I will definitely be giving them another try! They have a lot of great sales through their website, so it’s a great idea to follow their Facebook page! :)

Google got it wrong. I never visited the place.

I want my precious time back. This place advertises cash on the spot for your items but I could not get service on the spot as advertised. They told me it would be hours and they would text me. I never got a text and had to call them. Without hesitation they told me my phone provider doesnt accept their text messages. Really? Sprint doesnt accept their texts?? When I came back they offered me $18 for a new, and still on the rack at Macys dress and leather bag that retail for over $300. This place has no respect for their clients, this is insulting. The staff acts like they are doing you a favor. This experience was nothing like advertised. I want my time back and the gas for driving back across town doing all the follow up when it should have been handled in one encounter. Nice job, Clothes Mentor! You not only lost a sale, you lost a customer.

Ive been in here a few times and everyone is pretty nice, the merchandise is in good condition and generally name brand. Its usually fairly well organized (could be a little better but cmon its a nicer thrift store. Macys looks like a dump half the time and I dont see yall complaining about that). All the bad reviews were definitely written by rude, entitled people who got told they were special snowflakes and now dont like when they have to follow policy and/or wait their turn. BE NICE TO RETAIL WORKERS! These gals dont want to fight with you, they wanna do their work and go home! Your 30 year old sequined jacket isnt gonna sell and if you take it personally you need to get a grip. Whoever responds nicely to the rude reviews, youre a saint and deserve a raise.

I LOVE shopping at THIS store! The Expensive brands of various clothing etc are plentiful and at prices that I can afford 💜 The staff also makes me feel like the QUEEN that I am!

I found lots of great quality pieces for good prices. I was impressed by the quality of the clothes, as I often shop used and often have to filter out bad quality things. Everything on the rack here seems to be great quality. I will definitely be back often, as I don’t like to buy new anymore to limit my carbon footprint!I have sold items a few times here too and have been pleased. I am not expecting big $$$ since they resell the clothes after purchase, but its really convenient to quickly drop off my items and get money without having to try to sell the things myself.

I used to travel 1 1/2 hours to this store fairly often. Quite frankly it isn’t worth it anymore. There’s a staff member here that has short blonde curly hair that is extremely rude and snobby. Every single time I’m there and she’s working she’s been rude, so much so that I get a panic attack and feel uncomfortable. Other than that, there’s not as many sales as other clothes mentor stores. Don’t get me wrong the items are usually good but considering the above circumstances I probably won’t be supporting this store anymore.

I was basically told that my clothes were too fancy, I brought in a one piece Express sequence outfit the older woman says yeah that looks great maybe you should wear it... it was rude for her to say that as clearly this is a store that buys USED CLOTHES. I also brought in a bridesmaid dress that has never been worn, I understand the dress but the sequence one piece? Im sure there is a young girl out there somewhere that would like have liked to buy that one piece at an affordable price it still had the tag on it. Makes no sense at all, like what kinda clothes are you all looking for?? if your store says come buy name brand clothes at affordable price.

I dont like shopping, not even a little bit. At Clothes Mentor, I set up an appointment and a person shops for me. Ive worked with her three times now. She knows me and finds things I would typically like and things she thinks I should try. I arrive and the room is already full of clothes. I try them on, and Im out the door in 45 - 60 minutes. Best time Ive ever spent shopping.

The gal who helped me out was very nice and helpful i was not feeling very good and she offered me a chair to sit on for a bit. Thank you

I have been a Clothes Mentor shopper for many years and recently had a run in with a new rude manager named Holly in the Edina store. She ordered me to hang up my tried on clothes even though I wasnt done with the dressing room. The manager over her (Dan) apologized and welcomed me back but did nothing to resolve the situation. Customer service was so poor that I will not shop there ever again. They have lost thousands of dollars from me.

I can usually find pretty good stuff there. But I dont really get their buying practices. They bought a used (but still great quality) pair of leggings, but they didnt buy a brand-new Dooney and Bourke purse and wallet... and they definitely still have an area for high-quality purses and such. So, its a bit hit or miss.

I love, love this store! An upscale feel to this small, used clothing boutique! The clothes are in excellent condition - they must look them over with a fine tooth comb and magnifying glass! After a few visits, I signed up for their newsletter and now get notified for all their special events and discounts. I took my mom and sister there for a Girls Night Out event. It was so much fun! We shopped, drank cheap champagne and ate delicious chocolates. Not the place for the pretentious, as this was just a card table set up in the back, but for us - it was a memorable, fun night. Not to mention that the staff at this Edina location are very friendly and offer great customer service. Half my wardrobe is from this store!

Horrible place. On so many occasions they would do all pass and Id take it to another shop, and have ALL of my items accepted in a heartbeat. This probably explains their poor inventory 😄 Place is also in constant state of disarray... with half emty racks. They also have one senior lady there with just a bad attitude... Other staff are OK, but they seem to come and go, while this one seems to always be there.... rabdomly chosing just the weirdest stuff. Uts worth driving to Roseville or Burnsville just so you get someone that has clue about what women wear these days. Ive given a place a couple of chances now and will no longer go to this location. I would not recommend the place to anyone.

Excellent staff and pretty good selection! I especially think they have great shoes here. The changing rooms are a bit small and dark, but honestly this location is pretty sweet.

I brought in some clothes to sell and browsed a bit. While shopping, three of the workers were standing around talking about what time one was leaving that day and the other two mentioned how neither of them wanted to look through all the buys that came in today. When I had dropped off 5 minutes before they wouldnt even give me an estimated time theyd be done with my buy. Just said it would be done by the end of the day (5 hours later) because they had so much to do. So much talking to do apparently. This wasnt the first time Ive had terrible service here either. Ive been to many Clothes Mentors and I wont be going back to this one again.

Went in on a Sunday afternoon with 2 Moschino silk scarves in the original packaging, but when I asked the woman at the counter for a quote, she rolled her eyes and said very rudely that I will have to wait a while. I asked how long it would be adding that the items were definitely something she would be interested in and her reply was “that is what everyone thinks” while walking away. I left and went to the EP location which was a much more pleasant experience.

Terrible customer service. They need to have a system in place that allows them to search sold or available items that have been posted on Instagram. I was told 1 hour before hand that the item I wanted was available then when I got there an hour later, and elder woman seemingly had no idea what I was talking about or that they had an Instagram page where they post items and interact with people. She was so unhelpful and not to mention unpleasant in her responses. SHE DIDNT HELP AT ALL. I had to find another staff person there. If I could give zero stars I would.

Decent area theyre in and their clothes selections are nice though maybe a bit pricey. The staff was helpful, but they dont buy mens clothes apparently.

Kind of a small store, but easy to browse during my lunch break. Okay selection of clothes and shoes, lots of jewelry. They seem to be a little more selective than some other consignment stores.
