Ordered a coffee at closing. I should not have . One employee rushed away without greeting me saying she did not do cafe. The employee in back came out and reluctantly made my coffee. No eye contact nor smile. He hung his head down with long hair in face. He picked at his elbow and fingers while making my drink. Told another employee and she was equally unfriendly as was the manager. I just need to order my magazines online.

Linda was great. She took the time a couple of weeks ago to show me the Glow light and the tablet. I went in yesterday to purchase the Glow Light and Linda even checked me out. Also got a membership since I purchase books for my Grandkids at B&N. Very helpful staff.

Cleanest, most organized Barnes and Noble I have visited in a very long time. Book selection is much larger than my previous store and the staff was head above helpful. Love this location!

I end up calling this Barnes and Nobel maybe once or twice a week to see if they have received any Pokemon cards. They are ALWAYS super sweet about it every single time. I have to commend that because there is such a negative view of Pokemon card purchasers lately, and as a collector (not scalper!) I truly appreciate that they treat me with respect every time I call. Thats not always the case at other stores, where I feel like Im always annoying them! Thank you for that, truly!!

Let me just tell you... I got a LOT of books. And so did my whole family. I cant wait to get to reading them.

Always liked this store and being my first time at this location, I wasnt disappointed.

What happened to the seating area to browse a book or just relax. Well organized but a little pricey. Huge array of books. Dont like having B lack Lives forced down my throat. Check out person not very friendly, nor knowledgeable regarding signing up for I r Teachers discount. Sent us to another desk who found my wifes account.

Pleasant as always. I enjoy browsing the shelves of pages filled with words that can make me smarter or transfer me to different worlds. The bookstore is my church.

Staff is great and a large variety of manga!

People are misunderstanding the point of a bookstore. You arent there to do whatever on your PC, you arent there to sit and read, you are there to buy books and occasionally CDs and DVDs. At this goal of buying books, this B&N location does this very well. The only problem is that they tend to be seemingly understaffed at quite a few times throughout the day, so their customer service is a bit slow, but I wouldnt pin that on the staff themselves and is likely the result of them being a big location with low hiring numbers. However, if your goals are sitting on your PC or sitting and reading for hours, just go home. I can 100% guarantee that your house or apartment has a power outlet and is quiet enough to sit and read comfortably, so dont be expecting these handouts out of a store trying to sell books.

Spacious with large selection! They always have sale items, and reading suggestions amongst the employees.

Place is really big and there are so many books to read for all sorts of subjects. The place is nice and quiet like a library. You can also just sit down and read a book if you have enough free time.

I found the exact book I was looking for both volumes 1 and 2 of the ancient secret of the Flower of Life so I cant complain its a cool place to go for gifts they have more than books theres a cool little puzzles and unique little Trinkets and stuff

Today I just found out that my local Barnes & Noble is open for curbside pickup!! I called to ask if I would be able to place a book order and get it around the time I was scheduled to pick up my Target order within 20 minutes 😬😬 I knew it was a lot to ask of them in such a short amount of time at last minute notice. However, the staff was absolutely kind and understanding! I felt very valued as a customer in the way that they responded, and I feel they exceeded their expectations! Now I have a book to read while staying at home in quarantine. Thank you so much Barnes & Noble staff for taking the time to adjust to my need at the time. I am beyond grateful! 🙏🏼📚

I no longer work for the company. I was employed there for 20 years, started at 19. Ive watched this company evolve over time and have experienced good and bad times during the evolution & innovation. It was a good company, over time as management changed and they basically stopped promoting from within, bringing people from different industries- the organization faced hardship by this decision. From bad decision/deal with the NOOK, to various other decisions like shrinking genres not only the employees but the customers were affected! From low wages/low annual increases, a small ineffective HR( being small contributed to the ineffectiveness) to not really focusing on the people. Many mistakes have been made but through it all corporate still got paid well l, still received bonuses, while the employees wages hardly changed with the times/work load. I am grateful for my experience and wish things were different because this organization run under the Riggios thrived.

Very clean. Well stocked. Polite staff. The only thing that makes me mad about this location is there are NO outlets in the cafe or by any walls available for use. I only found this out once when my daughter checked out a tablet from a Douglas County library and when we went to use it while chilling at Barnes and Noble it had been returned drained of battery by the previous person :( When I asked a staff member about maybe charging it they told me people were just sitting around charging phones and computers so they locked the outlets. I can understand why thats annoying, but isnt a Barnes & Noble a place where you can just chill for a while and hang out? Thats how I end up buying a lot of books. The outlets are locked.....very ghetto. Thats why Aurora gets a crappy reputation some times. Had 1 sad kiddo...at least now we know.

Walked around for a while looking for a book series I assumed they would have in the childrens section. Looking a little defeated Im sure, Im assuming was the store manager asked if I was finding everything okay. They did have the newest book in the series we were looking for and led us there. Great service. Helpful staff.

They’ve found and procured books for me that were deemed unobtainable at anywhere other than Foyle’s in London (with a three to six month wait). They did so quickly, conveniently, and even waived the shipping cost from the publisher.

Had the books I needed. Sales clerk made other recommendations based on my selection.

This Barnes and Noble always has friendly staff and a great environment. It reminds me of a library. I stay and read books (idk if thats against the rules tho lol)Its always fun to look around the record area and the DVD area. They tend to have a lot of dvds than Target and Walmart in my experience. And right now, the DVDS are 20% off and some of them are $5.They also have journals, kids toys, and some Funko Pops and other cool things to look at.

Great store to buy unique gifts when you cant think of anything else to by someone who is difficult to shop for. I like the leather bound journals. And stationary selections. I also have bought bookshelves that mount to the wall and hide the Shelf making it look like floating books from this location. Always enjoy stopping at Barnes & Noble

Barnes & Noble classic feel for these stores. I gave this particular shop 5 stars because of the staff. They are amazing. Every time I go in, Im welcomed. They are aware of current book trends and what they dont know they have no problem looking up. Some of the friendliest bibliophiles around.

No place to sit and look more closely at books

I love this location. The place is always very neat and clean. The sales associates are friendly and very knowledgeable. Its always quiet to and the lighting just right. It reminds me of a library you could just sit and read in peace. The prices are also decent. Overall I love Barnes and nobles and will continue shopping with them. Forgot to say the kids section is absolutely perfect and the have a wide variety including older childrens book.

Nicely organized but shelves are VERY high, cannot reach upper shelves at all. Fortunately, customer service ate quite friendly and were able to help. I thought the books are bit pricey. Has a nice quiet area to eat and chairs look clean and comfy.

I love Barnes & Noble, who doesnt love a good old fashion bookstore? They have everything you could ever want, and if not they will order it. They are always friendly and helpful. I love just flippin through books and sitting and reading looking for just the right book to take home.

Open late and always have clearance and sale sections!

I needed a journal for work and even though it was just before closing, I was directed to the correct area of the store and was out before they closed.

My favorite place always! Ordering online and picking up is the best! They always do a great job!

Bought a puzzle the quality wasnt what I expected... still a nice clean place to shop.

I used to work at this Barnes and Noble after graduation and may be bias but the staff here has always been great. Theyll help you find anything and if they dont have it theyll order it. They have a music section which has always been my favorite with ridiculous great music picks. You can spend hours in each section-as well as study in cafe and just getting lost in words. Their childrens section is the cutest and they have any childrens book you could imagine for your kiddos.

I do like Barnes & Noble mainly because it is somewhat convient with the down side it is the only book store nearby. I think that they cater too much on subjects in which some of those products (not books) take up space that could be better utilized for more books.
