The salesman Sterling was knowledgeable and kind and really took the time to listen to what we needed. We weren’t exactly fast in picking, it took us a bit because we wanted to be truly sure for the mattress we got the right one but he was patient, too, and didn’t hover. Just got our mattress today and very happy with it!

As soon as we stepped into the store, there were 3 salesmen there but only one assisted us. Stuart was our salesperson & he was very helpful in having us try out different types of Medium & Firm mattresses to help us decide. He is very knowledgeable & friendly & didnt pressure us with our decision & gave us time to decide. We purchased our guest bed from the Mattress Firm Aurora location from Stuart. I walked into Mattress Firm shortly after the store opened, and despite arriving earlier than his actual shift start time, employee Curtis made it a priority to greet me and come to my assistance.Curtis was very respectful, briefly outlined their Covid guidelines, and patiently asked me to describe what I was looking for and what factors mattered most to me in regards to sleeping patterns, price range, delivery availability, and trial policy.He displayed exceptional knowledge on mattress type, size, and material and how each element affects my individual needs.For these reasons, I was able to make an informed decision on my sleep arrangements in a friendly and transparent environment that more businesses should adapt. Unfortunately, I shouldn’t be returning anytime soon on account of having a great bed for many years!

BeJay was kind, informative and patient with us while we mulled over all the options. The store was clean and well kept. The only thing I would recommend is cleaning the pillow coverings more often or changing them out frequently because if you want people to try out pillows or just lie down on a mattress it is extremely off putting to lay your head down on a dirty pillow case/cover.

I bought a bed from Jun today and I had a wonderful experience. He wasnt pushy for me to buy a bed, he understood what I was asking for in the price range and type of bed I wanted. I am a special case with 2 spinal fusions and have had a long and sleepless journey of finding a mattress that supported me in just the right way. After trying several Bed in the Box brands with no luck, I came into Mattress Firm Clearance. I still couldnt find the right one and had to return one and when that one didnt work, I was out of options as they only allow one return. I didnt know what I was going to do! 😭But then my husband and I spoke with Zach, the store manager. This man is more than fair, knowledgeable, and I believe truly has a heart for the people. I cried to him on the phone and he said come on in and well work something out. And that he did!! He helped us so much by educating us so we understood exactly what we needed. I realized I was confusing firmness for support! After that it was easy to make our choice and we chose a Beauty Rest Black. Ive been duped. I just wanted a good quality Queen or XL single mattress for under $450 for my 58 180lb son and was planning on piecing together his bed as I could afford chunks of the expense (I know beds are a heavy investment). Went here, wanted to support local business. Called ahead, asking what was in stock for my price range, guy said he had a Queen but not XL single mattress and was polite. Guy remembered my phone call when I came in. Showed us a few beds, the beds werent great quality but I knew thats probably my consequence at my budget (and the guy said that the models were in worse shape because they were models). I bought the mattress, opted for pickup at warehouse instead of waiting to have it shipped to store (the guy said Id pay half the tax, its a different city). Went to pick up the next day, parked in a long line of cars and after an hour in line, had my Sleepys Memory Foam Doze Queen mattress in my car. Heads up if youre picking up from warehouse: it was 15 minutes per car that I was waiting in that line. Got home, set it up, it seemed to have expanded as was supposed to. My son reported that his butt hit the floor through the bed. I called the store about returning it because it doesnt hold 180lbs. Was told weight is not relative to bed purchasing by a guy who claimed to work there for multiple years. Was also told that it was pretty much the top quality that I was going to get for my $450 price point and could get better qaulity for a couple thousand. Was then told Id lose 20% of my investment to a restocking fee. Was also told I could return it to the warehouse free of charge or lose another $99 for them to come pick it up since I had no way of getting the mattress back. This company has now managed to insult my intelligence and steal my money. I arranged for the return pickup, which I wont know a time window for until the night before pickup day so I have to take time off work for this return (more lost money).The nutshell: at this point Im losing so much money on this purchase that it would be wiser for me to keep this mattress and build it up with a firm base etc. If I return this mattress, I will have allowed this company to rob me.....all for nothing. This company should not be selling poor quality products. I should have chosen a better company to support, theres so many mattress companies that do free returns/pickups, accommodating shipping/delivery and offer trial periods. This company isnt up with the modern business model competition, I will not do business with this company again. UPDATE: During a call to cancel my return pickup (since I decided to keep this after having lost so much money) Jeremy told me that hed have a new one delivered - in the case that this may be a defective mattress (which hes seen happen before). Jeremy also apologized for the poor service I received and said hed talk to the bed expert that brushed off my concerns yesterday. A turn for the better in this so-far-bad-experience - Ill add a star just for Jeremys professional candor. Ill update this review after spending time on the new replacement.

I went to purchase a Purple 3 mattress and because the Purple 4 was displayed on an adjustable base (which I already own), that is what I purchased. Jun was very helpful with NO pressure. He made the entire experience quick and painless even after I left to go have lunch and think about the purchase. I returned an hour later to seal the deal. This is my second time dealing with Mattress Firm and I am very happy with them.

I was having a hard time getting through with customer service, so I called this store to help with an online order and they were AMAZING. Despite being told that stores couldn’t look up online orders from another location, they were able to tell me where my mattress was and help me get a solid delivery date. They were extremely kind, helpful and knowledgeable, even though reviewing online orders isn’t their primary role.
