This was the weirdest experience Ive ever had. The guy cut my hair with a razor... I wanted an A line cut came home to style it hoping it would look better and its so uneven and not what I was looking for at all. He was very ruff on my hair. Very nice guy but I will not go back or recommend this place.

Every time I go to this location, Hampton, I am always told that I need appointment. On the door it shows no appointment needed. I have my experience with Anna. She wouldnt not even work me in to cut my hair because she was working by herself and that she had appointments and if I needed my hair cut make appointment. I arrive at 9:02 A.M. and there were nobody scheduled for another half hour or so. Anna she doesnt listen to what you you want when cutting your hair...if you need to make appointment then someone should take the print off the door..NO APPOINTMENT NEEDED!!!! This suggest that Anna doesnt want to have great customer service. She was going to turn me away and let me go somewhere else. Bad customer service..when you have no body else there. SHE NEEDS TO STOP ✋ TELLING WALK IN THAT YOU NEED APPOINTMENTWHEN YOU DRIVE THERE AND GOING TO REFUSE SERVICE AND LET YOU GO SOMEWHERE ELSEI thought that I have found a good place to get hair cuts, etc.,

I am usually a pretty easy-going customer, but I got a laundry list of issues for my first, only, and last visit to this location...I would just say save your time, money, and patience...plenty of other stylists in the area🤷‍♂️

I had Melanie cut my hair a few days ago. Yeah sure she asked me what I wanted but she quickly turned to razor cutting. The worst part of all that was she didn’t wash my hair as soon as I went to sit down. She just sprayed it a bit then started cutting. When I don’t want my hair burned from razor cutting dry hair. She may have cut my hair but my layers are not short she mainly did a rectangle section at my crown cut that short. So all my sides are long still and a piece in my back left there is a piece that wasn’t cut at all. Which at the end I only got it washed due to me telling her to wash it.

Guy was a little rough on the haircut. Snagged hair, tugged on ear .

I had a wonderful experience at this franchise. I called pretty late in the day but I was still given an appointment. I wish I remembered the guys name that cut my hair. He was extremely helpful and efficient. He was the only employee at the time and I didnt wait long at all. He was very pleasant and I really enjoyed my experience.

Very nice people..I went in to only get a touch up..ended getting a full foil..which I didnt need, I supose they didnt understand what partial meant....when it was all rinsed out..my hair was in a big knot..I realized it was fried and we could barely get a comb through it..when I leaned my head back..my hair was to the top of my bottom..now its barely above shoulders.it hasnt been this short in 20 years! .this, I guess was ok..but when I got home I had orange brassy copper spots on the top of my head on my roots and underneath were large orange blotches..paid over $100 for fried,chopped,and orange splotches hair..Im so depressed. .the customer service was wonderful. .but wow, for that price..Im at home sobbing instead of showing off. I had globs of hair dye on my forehead, eyebrow, side of my face..then I forgot to say not to put dye on my widows peak, well he did..so I asked him to add color back and they chrged for that too! Had brown dye all over my forehead. .I went for a pampering session and got home sobbing. .And you can still see the gray hairs on the sides I wanted covered up..OMGGGGGG I hope it can be fixed..Ive never had my hair professionally fried..it was insane..I want them to fix it..but Im scared to go back!

I have been going to this Fantastic Sams exclusively for many years now. Why Fantastic Sams you ask? Anna is there and shes terrific thats why. I have long, very thick hair and she gives me a razor cut. I go in, zip, zip, zip and Anna can have my hair done and into layers in no time. My son can be sitting in the other chair getting his military style cut from her husband. I love it. We both walk in together, walk out together in less than 30 minutes.

I asked for a buzzcut and the guy usually does it fairly well but he makes my hairline look crooked. When I used to have longer hair he cut my bangs diagonal and the buzzcut I got today was uneven, there’s parts longer than the other, and my hairline isn’t even close to straight. Don’t waste your money or your time, the people who work here don’t even listen and they barely speak English well. I told him to fix my hairline and this dude cut it shorter smh.

This was the WORST Hair experience I have ever had. Went in for a perm. The “owner” (a man that barely spoke English-should have been my first clue) didn’t ask me anything about the type of perm I wanted. I told him big spiral curls. He came out with three roller sizes asking me which ones to use. How should I know? I’m not the professional. I again said big bouncy curls. Well...what I received is not spiral nor big. Tight frizzy waves is what I got. When done rinsing my hair he towel dried and said I was done. My hair was a tangled mess! And LITERALLY dripping down my back. It was very cold (21 degrees) outside on this day and he sent my outside like this after charging me $115 for NOT doing the job I asked for. He is a terrible stylist and an even worse business owner.

My daughter needed a haircut so I took here there on Saturday. Thought the guy understood what she wanted but when my wife saw it, she pointed out all sorts of problems that didnt look good. Plus, when I took her, he said the price was $14.95. When we were finished, he charged me $16.95 because he layered it, whatever that means. He said that allows them to charge more. BAIT AND SWITCH!! Steer clear of this place!

I went here tonight to get my eyebrows waxed. They ruined my eyebrows and made them look completely crooked. Went to a place across the street for them to try to repair this places mistakes. I found out that they waxed my eyebrows down, when youre supposed to wax up (shaping them instead of making them flat straight across). Worst part about it is that they took one eyebrows up and the other down. Plus they didnt trim or pluck any loose hairs. I even walked out of their with wax still on my face. This was a horrible experience. Luckily, the place across the street was able to make them even and didnt charge me. My eyebrows both look relatively flat now, but at least theyre even. I wouldnt recommend this place to anybody.

Friendly Staff. I have been here twice and both times have been very pleasant. Karina did a great job and I forget the other guy, I think he is the owner or something, he was fantastic as well. I will definitely come back to this shop to have my hair done. My two daughters also had their hair done here and they did a great job for them as well.Update 8/18/2014We have been going to this Fantasitc Sams ever since and they have not disappointed us. I went to Fantastic Sams for a haircut today. I wanted to get undercut. Instead of undercut, he got me a basic cut. He ruined my haircut.I will not come back here again. If you’re looking for a style men’s haircut, this ISN’T a right place for you.

Anna is amazing!! The first time I went in, I gave her the most basic instructions on what I like and she not only did it perfectly with no questions. She also did it in about a third of the time as everywhere else I have gone. That woman is a pro. I always try to tip as much as possible because I feel like I am underpaying her with just the flat cost.

Terrible terrible place. Came there for a simple blow dry and the person doing my hair was so rough she literally scratched my neck with the brush. I have what looks like claw marks on it and I told her it hurts and ask her to please be more gentle. She yelled at me and told me to go some place else. I seriously never seen anything like it. I am 32 years old and been getting a blow dry since I was 23 I know how it goes and its never like this.DONT GO!!!

Hair cut was decent.... this location doesnt accept coupons for some reason and you have to ASK them to shampoo your hair even though there are signs proudly boasting about how its included with a hair cut. Also, there is quite the language barrier at this location. I have been twice, will not go back.

Came in for a trim and the guy WOULDN’T STOP TALKING long enough for me to explain what I wanted. Literally he was like “What do you want? One inch, two? Like this picture, that picture...” he was pointing all over. I kept trying to start talking and he would just talk right over me. I finally left. Idk if he was tweaking or already high or WHAT but he pregnant chick who was there with him just sat there staring at this going down and when I looked over at her like “help me!” She just walked into the back and left me alone with this nutcase.

Hairstylists did a great job at listening to my poorly described haircut guidelines. Also I wanted to mention my 3 year old had a great haicut experience sitting in the red race car!

DO NOT GO HERE!! My hair was almost down to my rear, I went in and asked for 3 inches off the bottom and a long layer. This MAN Preceded to razor cut my hair, its so uneven, its so damaged now. All the while hes telling me you hair healthy. Well it was but it is not now. I had to pay him, then turn around and pay someone else 40 bucks to fix what he did. I shouldve known better when I went in there and smelled some funky food stuff. Please dont go here, spare yourself the grief!

If I could give them a lower rating I most certainly would! I took my daughter and her friend to get their hair ombred. Her friends hair is black and she wanted the ends to be a light brown with a little red. So they bleached her hair and then said it was done, the bleached area was really uneven so I told them they needed to put the brown in which they did. Then my daughters hair ended up with the ombre to far to the top, they didnt get the color all over, and the bleach was left on to long and burnt her ends. They also got bleach on her shirt and blamed it on her for moving, she is 18 and wasnt moving. I tried to get them to fix the issue instead they wipe it off and told her to use a marker to color it in. I am so pissed off that they didnt make their mistakes right and it was hard to get through to them cause they do not speak good English. The female Anna I think is what she said was very rough when washing the hair and argued with not only us but another customer. The male who I couldnt understand his name also either refused to listen or didnt understand what my daughter was saying when she told him to stop hitting her ears cause they had just been pierced. We ended up paying $160.00 for a screwed up job and we could have gone to Ulta and nicer and probably more professional salon and spent $163.00 for a job done right. I just called and talked to the manager who I found out was the one who told us to use the marker on her shirt to fix it. I explained to them that it did not come out right just like I had the night before and again he refused to make it right. I let him know I left a review on here and called corporate and was told I was racist and that I was trying to scam them. I have never been so mistreated and had such poor customer service. Please dont go here!

Ive gone to this Fantastic Sams in the past and Ive always liked what the lady has done to my hair. But last nite I went in for a basic trim. Im not picky at all so I didnt think anything bad when a new lady was the one cutting my hair. I thought it would be fine, since ive always had good experiences. Well this lady made my hair look like garbage. She used a razor for the whole cut (she asked if she could and I said it was ok cause I thought it would be ok) not only is my hair completely uneven, she was very rough. I left thinking it looked ok but when I came home and styled it I realized how horrible of a job she actually did. I contemplated going back to have them fix it but I honestly dont want to go anywhere close to this fantastic Sams again.

I went about 12:30 on Saturday, there were NO customers in the salon. I was asking about having highlights added to my hair, they told me how much, it was an okay price so I agreed, and then asked me to sit and wait. After about 5 minutes I was then told they do not have time to do my hair, and to come back in an hour. Aside from the fact there was no other customers in there, I was more than slightly annoyed by that lack of customer service. If you know that you are too busy, dont waste my time by asking me sit and wait, I thought it to be very rude.

I had a horrible experience at this saloon,i went there and requested for the guy to cut my hair,the lady said he is on the phone,please wait 2 to 3 mins,i ask the lady,if hes not available she can cut my hair,but she said she hasnt cut my hair before she might mess it up,so i waited and waited,then ask the lady again,she said the guy is not done talking on the phone yet if i can wait 15mins,what a bad bad customer service,how could you do that to a customer?for a business that is so empty that day,they preferred to talk on the phone than attend to their only customer,so unbelievable! But im glad i walked out of there,i found a much better hair stylist..im never go back at fantastic sams hampden anymore
