I popped into B&B Beauty Supply after a more local beauty supply did not have what my wife and I were looking for, and I was pleasantly surprised! 😄The store had a great variety of hair at affordable prices 🏷🙌🏽 & the store was very clean and organized. It was awesome to see they have a nice selection of jewelry too, stud/hoop earring & facial jewelry all nickel/lead/fade free certified & reasonably priced - the 2 pair of gold studs I purchased are beautiful quality pieces in comparison to what Ive seen in some beauty shops! Not to mention I was on the hunt for some Wahl clippers, which seem to be hard to find in stores these days, so I was happy to see they had a counter display with some great choices - I came up on a 5 star series Wahl set clipper & trimmer under $130👍🏽👍🏽. The staff here were attentive, helpful and friendly & I couldnt have asked for a better shopping experience, B&B will be my go to beauty supply from here on out, thank you!

Today I went to this shop looking for a wig the lady that works there showed me a wig that she offered me in a different color than the one on display. So I agreed to buy it on the notion that she is an honest person but when I got home the one she sold me was the one that was on display because the color was hidden underneath and you can’t see it till you open it. super disgusted and they say all say is final but at the same time scammed me.

I really love this store. The employees always are ready to help somebody. You never have to hunt anybody down. And they actually do remember what wig your looking for and the cut. And can give you options. And the price is pretty good for what you pay for.

Let me start by saying the mom who works here is always so kind and sweet. She always helps with whatever you need. Now the reason for the one star rating is because I visited this beauty supply a few days ago and purchased some stuff to braid my hair along with some human braiding hair to add to my braids. There was a product I was looking for but they didn’t have it. The son suggested a different product and I asked the price and he told me. The mom who was standing there started going back and forth in their language about the price but I was like whatever I’m already spending over $100. Well today I come in and someone inquired about that same product but was given a lower price when asked. I just think it’s dishonest and unnecessary to try and rip off your guests that visit the store. The son who rung me out the previous day had removed the sticker so there was no price on the product when I bought it. Dishonest business practice will hurt you more than help in the end. I suggest going to Shays beauty supply (black owned) on Mississippi or HairJoy because they are hard working honest people who have loyal guests due to the respect they give everyone and not having shady practices. Just wanted to inform on my experience.

They are not friendly and seemed bothered when you ask questions. Employees rarely leave the counter and just point, shout and stare when you ask for help. The store has too many low quality overpriced products, just like the other B&B in Montebello with similar rude treatment. Spend your money where its respected by going elsewhere. Try Wigs & Beauty Supply on Chambers instead.

I bought a 359 dollar human hair wig and I am sooooooo disappointed in the hair. It looks as if someone cut pieces out of it which is why it’s super thin. it sheds and tangles easy. I used to love this store but after this I will not buy here again. Beware of the human hair wigs. Don’t go off the display, Check your package throughly if you buy.

Great choices in hairs, wigs, and crochets. The assortments of beads, clips, hair ties, and dangling hair ornaments are vast. There are some many things to choose from. The staff seems friendly but they dont speak, they smile or nod. Which is still a good thing. The lady at the checkout counter is nice though. This is the only place I can find the hair I need for my and my daughters colorful braids.

The sign on the door says they were to reopen today, April 26th. They are CLOSED. I talked to a few people while I was in the parking lot and saw more drive up and pull away after seeing the sign. If the owners see this, you are missing out on money. People are essentially begging you to be open.

Staff helped me find what I was looking for but everyone’s demeanor was very unfriendly, just more like they wanted me out of the store. Also, I ended up heading to Walmart anyway because they overpriced their items. The Cantu mask I was looking at was double at this place compared to Walmart and even their hair bonnets were like $5 and I got the same one for 98 cents at Walmart. I honestly don’t understand why people have said they have good prices.

I bought human hair lace full frontal wig here for a wedding and my wig has been shading and also they cut out hair from the wig u can see many pieces showing. Im very dissapinted with there service I brought the hair for 168+ and guys its a disappointment. Not only that the hair is acting like synthetic hair. I tried washing it and all that good stuff Nothing! Keep shading and its not full hair. Guys i will advise open the hair before you buy it. They are quick to sale hair to us not minding the quality. If i would rate a 0 I would.

Such a awesome store they have so much hair! When all the other stores were closed on new years they were open and helped me find the perfect hair for my braids! Also such a friendly staff thank you!

Very nice place to shop

They werent very helpful the last few times I was there. Instead of helping you they would rather watch to make sure you werent stealing. And the hair that was supposedly human hair really wasnt. Over priced and not very nice people.

They need to focus on helping customers rather than assuming we are all in there to steal. They are so busy watching others, that they cant even attempt to have decent customer service. Ill take my business elsewhere instead.

Went in with my Mother in Law who.was interested in looking at some lace front wigs, we were told by three different workers to go to three different areas to look and they gave us an attitude the third time we asked. We were on our way out and A CUSTOMER helped us as if she were making a profit out of whatever we purchased. My Mother in Law liked one of the wigs the young woman helped us find and was about to buy it, but I convinced her not to spend a penny with those rude people since they found it necessary to follow is around as soon as we started walking with the woman who was helping us. Its clear that they think all of us Black women are thieves.

Decent prices for wigs a bit pricey for crochet hair. Human hair weave is also a bit over priced but not too bad.

There so rude they don’t greet you customer service sucks they act like they don’t want to help you. Black people are the ones that give you the most business but you look at us like your better you wouldn’t even have this place without us.

This is a last resort stop. Id recommend Shays beauty a little further down Mississippi next to Cicis pizza!

Good place to get your hair products

This is the worst experience I have ever had at a store. I just read one of the other reviews, and the women is right, for some reason they look down on the community they are serving. I arrived there with my daughter to grab a specific product at 739pm. As soon as we get in there, the man behind the counter says “ we close in 2 minutes” . I then said “ 2 minutes? It’s 739pm, don’t you close at 745pm” then he proceeded to say they did close at 745. So I said “ you mean we have 6 minutes?” We then go to grab our product, and they turn the lights off on us. We get to the counter to pay at about 741pm. We weren’t there to shop, so our visit was quick. To our unfortunate surprise, when we arrived to the counter,there was an African American woman trying to come in, and the employee was shutting the door on her. She was asking the man “ please sir, you aren’t closed yet, please let me in, PLEASE sir, I really need to get this product, it’s urgent, Please, I would really appreciate it.” The woman was literally begging this man to let her in. It was to the point of humiliation! The man was cold and said“ no. If you want to come here, you need to come earlier. You can’t come in here.” And the lady just kept asking. Mind you, the store was still open. This was such a sad experience. These people are living off of the money that the black community gives them for their products. Yet, they have the nerve to be so rude and disrespectful to their customers. How sad.

There are only 6 BEAUTY Supplies (as in non Sallys) (and marketed for the woman of color) in the State of Colorado...i use to work at one of them...This location is Close convenient with Average Pricing...when I am not ordering my products online I will come here...well because where else do you go? This location owns a beauty supply on another side of town (Montbello) and I would choose this location first....

I got the wrost rash on my neck from a wig I bought from here. Ive shopped here before never had a problem butI will never go back. The customer service is trash and always has been strictly shop there for convenience but not anymore its not worth. I have worn wigs for over 10 years never had an issue beware and be careful!!!!!!

Great selection. Ive shopped here several times. This time, I needed a little more help than previous visits. The woman who helped me was very eager to assist. She at first thought she was out of stock of the product that I was interested in, but she insisted on remedying the situation, and eventually discovered the product in another place. Super nice and helpful.

Poor customer service experience. They have tons of great products but every time I go here, the staff is abrasive and they look down on the people that they are there to serve. I really hope that they pay attention to the reviews here.

Very rude and short with customers. Im natural and I would rather go to Walmart! One client was looking for some extension and she had several highlights. She needed help and he proceeds to tell her that her hair was complicated (poor choice or words). A clear sign they only want the money and not a connection to the customer! When will people realize the customer make a business thrive?

I used to love this place, but Im not shopping here anymore. I walk in normal deal, normal thing I buy my hair its 64 dollars. I paid with card and used my own pen!!!! The red head guy who works the cashier gonna say I stole the pen. I was like is this really happening after I pulled it out of my purse AND spent money here we argued... I know petty but in customer service the customer is always right, I know for a FACT it was my pen, and I spent good money there. Ending: It really upset me, Im not going back I will be ordering hair online.

I love this store although i live in golden i make my monthly trip to the store due to the prices and the workers are great! Heck ill be there today! As a stylist coming from texas it was hard to find somewhere where i could get all the products i needed especially for my daughters natual hair. Love this place

Finding a good hair store that supplies quality for brown people hair is difficult. This place is well known amongst people who style their hair, natural or otherwise. I think the Rastafri hair at the beauty supply on colfax/chambers might be a few cents cheaper but these places pretty much have most of what you might need. Grocery stores arent gonna quite cut it in comparison.

This store was ok in that I found some great wigs. However, prior to a worker was extremely rude. My wigs were being admired by another customer who wanted to try on my purchase and the worker approached me to TAKE MY WIG OUT OF MY HAND for another customer. I made her ask me for it and told her she was rude. She replied Its not yours yet! I allowed the other customer to see and try on my purchase ONLY because she was AA (my people). Whats amazing is that this behavior would not be acceptable in other store. If a patron has items in their hands for PUCHASING no one can DEMAND you give them to another customer. Just went there today August 1 2018. I wanted to try on wig but because I only had a debit card o was told I have to spend 5 dollars before I can try on a wig. Also I walked in others were paying for items less then that with a card I walked out walked back in since there was no signs saying such things about spending so much to us card.i told him give me 5 wig caps since they were a 1.00 dollar a piece. He took my husband card and as I watched he pulled out the card receiver that connects to computer and plug it back in once the card was declined also so the card reader couldnt finish processing correctly behind counter I said as I left Im not dealing with this because I watched you just unplug the card system he said nothing so I called to try to understand why they were so disrespectful and they could answer any of the questions I asked them they keep trying to relate to other business an not take repsonbility for there own I wasnt about them being busy it was about how I was going to pay alot for what I was going to but but instead was told I cannot just because I had to buy 5.00 or more so they could sell other products

I shopped here for years but over a year ago the service has declined. They are rude and worthless. I stopped in here about 2 weeks ago I stood in back of the store for over 5 minutes waiting on someone to help me purchase a ponytail I finally walked out and went to Pink on Colfax and Chambers and wow what a difference.

Need more black owned stores.... owners dont do customer service very well, also dont know a lot about their products or how it helps the customer... I think I saw one of them follow a mother and child around the store. Wouldnt even give one star

Let me start with the only reason I gave it one star is because I had to so I could leave the review. The people were very rude the woman who worked there asked me and my friend If we needed help and when we said yes she said what you see is what we have and walked away then my friend saw a couple she might like they make you purchase a wig cap I mean its only a dollar but I thought that was kind of tacky and just shows how people will make a buck on anything they can. And again the woman was very rude we were trying to ask questions she was not helpful I mean my friend is already having a hard time and embarrassed that she has to shop for wig do to the loss of all her hair due to cemeo therapy and this woman made it a awful experience no customer service and just very rude if you are shopping for a wig this is not the place that I would recommend you do it at.

This place is incredibly rude and all about your money, I went in to get a few wigs and the Asian owner made me buy a wig cap first, which is fine, so I did, but every three wigs I have to buy a new one? No. This store needs to learn how to treat customers bc my basket was full before I walked out . I would go to Gigi’s or somewhere where they appreciate your business .
