I went there for the first time 4 weeks ago. Didnt find the exact furniture piece I was looking for. However they had lots of other things that caught my eyes. I purchased a few pieces of jewelry and am planning to go back again in a few days to see whats new. I do not like shopping. I generally go in a store, buy what I need and leave. So to get me to come in and shop around says a lot. I only return to places that give me Excellent service, Good value for money, and Quality products. Sweet Charity checks those boxes. I will keep coming back to shop at Sweet Charity.

This was my first time going there. The ladies who work there are incredibly nice. Its nice to go somewhere and people are still so sweet! The selection at this thrift store is pretty big! Everything is clean, in good condition, and displayed nicely.

Extremely rude “Counter Girls”, very unprofessional. The merchandise was over priced. If you charge retail prices call yourself a boutique or antique shop. Definitely not a thrift or resale store. If they didn’t run off of donations they would not make it, they would go bankrupt. They use eBay to price their items, the problem is they use what people are asking on eBay not completed/ sold listings. Inherently corrupt I would have to guess? Why charge outrageous prices for something that you obtained for free? And then call yourself a charity organization. The hope chest (the other resale store in downtown Aurora) which is also part of wayside ministries at least has reasonable prices but according to wayside they get all the garbage. All of the better quality items go to sweet charity because of the location to more affluent neighborhoods. Apparently so they can put higher price tags on the items. Places like this contribute to the blanket negative stereotype that people brand charity organizations with.

First time shopping there and it will not be my last time. The ladies where very kind. The cashier is a Angel in disguise. Negotiated a price for me which allowed me to purchase everything i needed and wanted. I hope ahe reads this I bought a wrap rhat i always wanted.

What a great resource for clothing, housewares, books and toys. Clothing is clean, steamed. All housewares are washed. Every type of drinking glass is available! I have purchased sheets, a duvet, clothing for my children and a DESK! Dont forget to look at the handmade earrings at the check-out counter - very reasonably priced and gorgeous! Staff takes great pride in their store and is very friendly.

Insane pricing. Nice selection but everything is way overpriced.8-16-18 update. No change. Who in fantasyland is pricing these items? Absolutely ridiculous.They want $24.99 for a 3 pack of small Star Wars Puzzles that are $5 at Five Below. Also might want to adjust the pricing on that used Black and Decker jar opener that’s been $24.99 since February.Won’t be back and won’t recommend to anyone.

I gave this place a chance despite the reviews. Yes, the prices are high especially for things that are not particularly desirable (if it was on clearance at home goods for $4 and has that sticker dont mark it $5 since it didnt sell for $4) - but the real downside was service. No one spoke to me while I was there, not even a hello or goodbye.I left after a worker, who wanted to hang a picture on the wall, literally stared impatiently at me while I went through clothes that were hanging below. I was there looking and he just put his ladder right next to me and huffed and puffed like I was inconveniencing him by shopping. Others might have said no rush, let me know when youre done since the store runs on sales...I put back the two things I had found and walked out.I have known, befriended, and even hired many people from Wayside. How this store helps I am not sure because it seems like they cannot get return customers...the goal is to sell as much as they can to support charity. - I think good service OR reasonable prices would not be too much to ask.

I mean they have cool stuff, but if youre poor and trying to find things to fill your home and wear and such, dont bother. Theyre just in it for profit.

Yesterday my mom and aunt were entering the resale shop and one of the employees told my aunt she could not enter with her wheel Chair. If disabled costumers are not allowed at the store put a sign on the door Disables are not allowed .. I know its called discrimination!!!
