This is an honest auto shop. I already had the part but wasnt able to replace it living in an apartment. I called them up and they were able to replace my power steering pump on my outback within the day and it sounded better than it had in maybe 6 months. They only charged labor and stuck true to what the quoted on the phone. Finally found an auto shop with integrity. I will be back. Tom helped me and he was great.

I bought a 1997 subaru legacy outback from a private party who had lied to me about the car. It had been salvaged and the repairs would have been over 2 times what I paid for it. I was given great advice and even though it was bad news, it was nice to have someone who was honest tell me about the car. My family has used silver star for years and they have always been wonderful.

These guys are straight up, no BS. They gave me great advice and spoke in a way I could understand (I dont know anything about cars, except how to drive them!) Their service was quick too. Ill definitely use them again for my Subaru Tribeca.

I was on a road trip and had hit a big pothole. My car was making weird noises so i took it to these guys. Ended up being a piece of metal that was bent. They fixed it for free. I thought it was something serious. And they were the only ones that could see me that day. 5stars for sure!

Im so grateful I found this place. After YEARS (yes YEARS) of taking my 2011 Outback to the local dealership every few months for the on again off again Check Engine Lights, with no success, Silver Star found the problems and fixed them permanently the first time. The whole process from making the appointment, to diagnosing the problem and providing an estimate, to doing the repairs was professional and painless the entire way. They knew exactly what was wrong, and how to fix it. They even allowed me to run a meeting from the waiting area over their wi-fi while the work was being done, so I didnt even have to miss work. My car now runs perfectly, and my CEL has not returned.Ive been back a few more times since that first experience, and each time has been the same. Theyve never tried to upsell me, or recommend unnecessary work. Prices, Service, Convenience (some great restaurants nearby, and CC Park is their backyard,) and the people are all 5-star. I wouldnt trust my Subaru to anyone else at this point, and with their help I might get another 150k miles out of my Outback. Thank you Silver Star!

First thing I noticed was all the older Subies sitting out front which is always a good sign as I have an 08. This was the third shop I hit up for a weird idling issue with my car that wasnt throwing any error codes to help with the diagnosis. Two other shops couldnt figure out the solution (including Hueberger down in the Springs) even after both shops had my car for a full day. These miracle workers figured it out in only a few hours!! On top of that, my car decided to start overheating which required some engine disassembly to replace some seals. They were able to fix everything and have my baby running better than new in about a day and a half! After searching for months for a great and reliable shop, I have finally found THE place to go! Thank you guys!!!!!!

We have been taking our Subaru to Silver Star for years. They have always been very fair with their pricing, fast, and friendly. Not being a car person, I know I can bring my car to Silver Star and not be taken advantage of.

I called Silver Star on a Thurs. afternoon about a bad wobble on my new 06 Outback. The next morning I dropped my car off, by 10am they had done my requested used car inspection, called me and discussed the work required, and all work was completed in time for me to pick up the car on the way home from work.You deal directly with the mechanics here.... And they know there stuff, there is a wall of ASE and Subaru factory training certificates. They showed me the damaged parts they replaced, and knew whether to overhaul or replace to save me money. Best of all they charged what they quoted, and they properly diagnosed and fixed the problem.And this whole thing went from first phone call to repairs done in 24 hours. Ill recommend them and go back.

Great Subaru shop. Fair pricing

Bad experience for me. Had them perform oil leak gasket/seal fixes, they missed diagnosing the fairly costly top gasket while sealing other less important ones, car still leaks badly; did not put the $200 plastic engine cover back on the bottom of car, later admitted they put it on a someone elses car (no reimbursement or replacement given); diagnosed a faulty radio, $900 part plus labor, which I did not have them fix - good thing, turned out it was a broken wire to power the antenna booster - an extremely common fault on this year Outback. Two thumbs down.

We are a two Subaru family and over the last decade we have lived in Aurora we have been lucky to be fairly close to Silver Star Automotive. They have always been honest, fair, and quick. Definately recommend them for any Subaru owner in the area.
