They were the best from beginning to end there was a lady answering the phone when I called in, she could use a few classes in customer service, her not wanting to be bothered showed in her voice. Brian I believe was his name he was great and caring he said he was in charge of car rental . There was a young lady that brought my car to me she was the best all smiles and helpful I left my handicap sticker and she contact me right away with a big smile i really liked dealing with her I cant remember her name but she was the best in the customer service area .. Thanks to all of you ! it would of been 5 stars but when you call into a business hearing the tone of not wanting to be bothered it not good otherwise thanks for all your service .
I was super excited when I knew that Liberty Ford would move from Solon to Aurora, until my first experience with them. At Solon office, the people were nice, customer oriented. Something changed.Sales might be a little different, but their service group is not at the level they should be for a organization at this size. During the 4 times I had to go to Ford for a service, 4 times something happened in terms of communication, lack of cordiality or jumping into other issues and not resolving what I needed, besides their prices that are always higher compared to other equal or better garages around.We bought maintenance plan from them when we bought our car and we will have to deal with it until we have the contract. But always when I can, I try to avoid going there.Opportunities to improve:1. Associates that deal with customers directly have to be more cordial, friendly2. Listen to the problems, try to find a solution and go further to resolve the problem3. More customers oriented in terms or cordiality, deals, offers and solutions4. People that are not customers oriented should not be on the front line5. Sales people should follow the same approach and not push for a sale, but to find the solution and make the customer happy.*they seem to be focused on very short term goals instead long term loyalty from their customers

Disappointed experience. I only had the car for almost 11 months and already Im having issues with it! I called a few weeks back and told the service gentleman that I was having issues with my power seat and the fact that the panel supporting it was loose or broken. The appointment was for a Saturday however when I brought the car in I was immediately informed that I had made an appointment for an oil change and some recall thing which was not the case. When I explained to the guy about the power seat issue he said that it was not documented. What?Then the guy went to explain that on Saturdays they only do the basic work and not extensive stuff. Ill take a look at it he says. It took 3 hours just to do the oil change and recall. At the end when I picked up the car was THE PANEL WAS ORDERED. I will start to get my services done at Klaben.

Im a mechanic.I help my customers purchase used cars quite often.I have been inside dozens of car dealers.My skin usually crawls and I get physically ill and often very angry dealing with some of these places.Yesterday I assisted in a vehicle purchase at Liberty Ford in Aurora.It was hands down the most pleasant purchasing experience that Ive ever had.We were treated very well..We were not pushed into a car that We couldnt afford..We were not bombarded with add ons.When We said no to the warranty that they sold that was the end of it...they accepted our answer and moved on.I didnt feel like We were being mistreated for a second.They were honest and We came home with a great car at a fair price.I will begin my used car searching at Liberty Aurora despite them being an hour away.Thank You for the humane treatment..kudos to this place.I have dealt with other Liberty locations for parts and assisting customers with warranty repairs and have a good opinion of Liberty in general but this location in Aurora was top-notch.Thank You for a pleasant experience and for not sending Me home with P.T.S.D...I will be back.

This was the most confusing experience I have had with changing out a lease in 20 years. I ended up with a vehicle that has more features and is highly technical. Also Ford Motor Company, no longer will give an owners manual. I appreciate that the dealership printed me a manual as I couldnt even figure out how to turn climate control on and off.My concerns are with Ford, they want to make everything digital, which is not the best option, especially for seniors who arent tech savvy. There are not a lot of Ford vehicles out there right now. They need something for you to see, not just online, but at dealerships.Also my Edge comes with trials, but with each feature you are expected to pay and also pay your monthly payment i.e Navigation, Hotspot. So what is Ford actually offering. There is also the risk that using digital and it goes out, your vehicle doesnt work.Ford needs to look at all these poor decisions and how they affect the consumer. I am a long time Ford user, but I need to find an auto manufacturer that works for me.Charlotte Leggett

In February of 2021, I ordered my first new car - a Space White AWD Mach E. In August, my new car arrived scratched and damaged! Ford (the corporation) had zero plans to rectify this circumstance and fix my new car. However, I found allies in A.J. and Nathan at Liberty Ford, who went to bat for me. Over the next three weeks, A.J. spent countless hours on my behalf. I could not be more grateful as my car looks brand new, again. In the end, Ford has attempted to make up for their initial lack of action by promising a charger and an extended warranty. Let’s hope this is not a hollow promise, as I am still waiting to hear from Ford regarding the extended warranty. Despite my experience with Ford (the corporation), the people at Liberty Ford were professional, friendly, and truly a God-sent.

I brought it to their attention before i drove away and 3 days later Nicole from Service calls me saying they have an “eye witness” who said they saw it but didn’t write it down or anything.It was only a couple hundred dollars I’ll get it fixed just something to think about before trusting them with your vehicle.

In August of 2020 I was searching across several states for a very specific vehicle: a black 2016 Kia Sorento SXL AWD. I reached out to Bob Scheatzle about one I had seen listed at Liberty Ford in Aurora, OH. I’m located in Newark, OH and COVID was raging so I couldn’t easily visit the lot. He responded very quickly even though it was a Saturday afternoon. He promptly sent me a very thorough video tour of the car. Bob was very helpful and addressed all my questions completely. I decided to buy the car so I drove to pick it up. On their final inspection before the sale, they noticed a chip in the front windshield. Before I even got to the lot the windshield had been replaced. Great customer service.It gets better.Fast forward 5,000 miles to May 2021. I got in the car, pushed the start button, and watched, horrified, as smoke rolled out from from under the hood. I had the car towed to my mechanic only to be told that my engine had locked up! Less than 90,000 miles on a 2016 Kia Sorento and the engine locked up!I called Bob to ask if there was any information that I had overlooked when I bought it that might have prevented this or ANYTHING they might know about the car that could help me. Keep in mind, the car is a Kia and Bob works at a Ford dealership. Here’s where the “above and beyond” comes into play.Bob did some research and emailed me information about a recall situation with Kia. He didn’t have to do that. He sold me a used car over 9 months earlier. His job was done.But, armed with the information from Bob, I was able to dig a little deeper and discovered a class action lawsuit settlement that included a lifetime engine warranty for certain makes and models. As it turned out, my car’s VIN was covered by the settlement’s warranty!!I now have a brand new engine in a car I love, thanks in no small part to the diligence and customer service/work ethic of Bob Scheatzle of Liberty Ford in Aurora.If you get a chance to work with Bob to buy your next vehicle, I am confident you will receive the exact same level of customer care.Thank you, Bob.

Very short staffed. Very careless . And they sold me a 2020 with bad calipers and tried to be funny when I called about the issue. They scheduled me an appointment 2 weeks away and stated that my car is “drivable “ they have NO loaner cars, and they put me on a “waiting list” that may or may not even exist

I will preface that I am not one who likes service departments at dealerships. But comparing to other auto shops, my experience here wasnt all desirable. Even after talking with Derek on the phone and arranging a drop off time, he did not have me listed on the schedule. I brought my vehicle in for a safety recall and I am going to hope the repair is satisfactory. For any other repairs outside of warranty and recall, I will take to a repair shop that knows and understands their customers needs...and knows when I will be in.

Nice people but way over-priced. Kept promising me incredible payments during our test drive oh, and when we started talking actual numbers it was hundreds of dollars more per month than the Ford website was saying it was for the exact same car with exact same down payment. They were unwilling to bargain or reduce costs. I know these times are strange and cars are flying off the lot at incredible speed but you lost this customer. Dont promise things you cant deliver
I reached out about an Explorer I was interested in, the process was smooth for the most part until the negative equity for my trade in. I gave them a number of what I overall wanted to pay for as far as my finance. They wouldn’t meet with me where I needed to be and wanted to make it tough on me to buy this car. I wasn’t unreasonable and they still would of been making a profit. And then the salesman Michael asked in the end to see if there was anything I can cut out in my life to save me money to help get the car. Very unprofessional and very pushy. I will not be looking at this dealership online again unless it’s an unbeatable deal that can’t be passed up!
I’m beyond thankful and grateful of Nathan and Aj!! They were able to get me out of my car that I thought I would never be able to get out of and was able to put me in my dream car brand new!! Had to get my truck services (under warranty) right when the pandemic started. Due to circumstances beyond their control, parts were hard to come by while the truck was not driveable. They took great care of me, and helped to me ensure I could still get done what I needed. Then they went over and above to get the repair done right, and as quickly as they could. My experience was great! I drove my car from Texas to Ohio and began having issues. Turned out to be a blown head gasket. Brian Stofko in the Service department worked with me to get the repairs done. He kept me updated with what was needed. He went above and beyond when he noticed a paint defect on the hood of our explorer. He contacted Ford and worked to get the repairs covered under warranty. My ford dealer in Rosenberg Texas (Legacy Ford) didn’t make any effort to get the paint fixed. I appreciate Brian for his hard work and dedication to the customer and to Liberty Ford.

My 2016 Focus was shuttering between up-shifts. I had previously taken the car to Liberty for the same problem, and reprogramming seemed to help somewhat. But the shuttering returned eventually, and worse this time.Liberty tech diagnosed a clutch failure and replaced the clutch under my extended warranty. Car runs fine now, smooth shifting and solid feel.Great service. Courteous, thorough and timely.

I bought my 16yr old son a used car. Got the warranty thank god the vehicle failed oil consumption test! Also tire was bad had to buy a new one within a week all of these things I found within 30 days and they said they would help and never did! I also have to replace the rear bearings on my cost $975!!! I will never work with these rude lairs again!!! Beware

He listens to my concerns, understands what Im trying to articulate, and communicates with me regularly. Liberty Ford is not the closest dealership to me, but it is worth the drive for good service.

I went to Liberty after an extended search for the right truck to pull our camper. After all the searching on Carfax, Cars, etc.. and then the Ford website to make sure I was able to identify the right motor, things actually got more confusing because there are more than 1 type of specific engines. Well, to make a long story short; I bought the truck I thought I needed, but then after bringing the camper home I soon discovered I did not have the right towing package. When I called and explained this to Liberty (well past the 5 day money-back trial period) they immediately understood and told me to bring the truck back for a full refund and put me in the perfect truck! Very happy with the work they did and the stress they took off of me! Thank you Eric Drenberg!! (hes your guy at the Aurora location).

Unfortunately the part that I needed for my car came in wrong so they had to order it again and it is on backorder. But that will not change my feelings about Liberty Ford.
Four item worth listing for this experience. Frist, we made an appointment to test drive the car a day in advance, but when we arrived the car was very dirty. It had never been cleaned at all. Not good during a pandemic. Second, the tires on the car were badly dry rotted. When we pointed this out, they told us that they were within spec. This is true for tread, but they were still dangerous and had to be replaced immediately. Third, and the worst part of the Liberty experience was that the car was overfilled with oil by a quart and a half. When we told the employee, they just said that they wouldnt do that. Oh yes, they did. They even had to take the car back into the service area for detailing (while we had to wait when this should have been done before we arrived) yet they never checked or fixed this. Finally, social distancing was lax. We will not be future customers of Liberty Ford.
