Daves Auto is the only auto repair shop I would let handle my vehicle. Besides their friendly and welcoming atmosphere, they are honest, reliable and they will treat you fairly. I can recommend Daves Auto without reservation.

Have gone several times. Most recently check engine came on and it was my evap sensor. They had recently replaced gas cap for minimal charge to try and fix it and when it happened again they ran all tests and couldnt find leak so concluded it was too small to make any real difference and didnt charge me anything for the tests or the visit. This is consistent with everything their team has done to save me money when they could easily do what many garages do and perform tons of expensive tests and work that are not necessary.

This automotive mechanic and repair does an excellent job with servicing your car and repairing anything that needs to be repaired and/or replaced. You will not leave disappointed. If you live in the area or the neighborhood, or even if you dont and it is a bit of a drive and youre looking for trustworthy auto mechanic service, this is the place! Trustworthy, dependable. Nothing but problems with LS swap into my 1984 Toyota Land Cruise. Two days at Daves and Paul has turned this into a smooth engine and I couldnt be happier. This is now my new Auto shop

I had an awesome experience with Dave and Daves auto. He did an oil change for me. His customer service was excellent (he was busy, but did his best to squeeze me despite that) and I know that the work was done correctly. I always double check myself the first time I go to a mechanic. My girlfriend also took her vehicle get for emergency repairs and he was awesome. Didnt try to take advantage of her inexperience. When the work was more extensive then he originally anticipated he did his best to minimize the increase in expense. Im mechanically savvy, but dont have tools/space to do repairs myself and all the issues he diagnosed/fixed were in line with what I thought were likely the issues. Hes running an honest, hard working shop. Would recommend highly.

My son took the car with the diagnosis from another workshop to Dave Automotive to know the cost of the repair and knowing the problem of the car They gave me a very expensive estimate and I told them I will not do it for now and they told me anyway you have to pay for the diagnosis,They practically forced me to do the work with them, I really dont recommend this place And I want to emphasize how badly they treated me when they heard my Latin accent They laughed and that is not correct. This is a country with a lot of racial diversity and we have to respect each other.

Paul, the owner is as good as they get. Infact the whole team is. He was my first and only mechanic I had in my 6 years of living in CO. He is honest, he kept my 04 Subaru on the road and kept me safe while I saved up for a new car. Truly blessed to have found such a solid guy who has a good business. And he treats his employees good and it shows! If I could give you more stars I would!

Was having a problem with my car cars door locks locking and unlocking as I drove it. After checking it out, they found a bad component. Part was replaced, reprogrammed and now working perfectly!Would recommend to anyone looking for a dependable auto repair shop!

Daves believes in doing business the old fashion way, which is hard to find today. Honest, friendly and very accommodating, They are awesome.Also being greeted by Dave the dog is a treat. My father did business with Daves 35 years ago and was always pleased with them. Now I am doing business with Paul and the honesty carries on. Becky is also great! Highly recommend them. I will not take my cars anywhere else!

Paul goes above and beyond customer service. He has helped me with my transmission he boxed it up strapped it down and gave it to the shipper while I was at work. Incredibly knowledgeable. Hes now my go to mechanic for any major or minor maintenance.

All I needed was some air in my tire because every gas station has an air pump but maybe 10% of them actually work. Asked if they could help me out and the told me to back into a bay and they had me out the door in a couple minutes. Thank guys!!

Undoubtedly the worst mechanic shop I have ever had the displeasure of visiting. I brought my Chevy in, driving perfectly fine, for a checkup on an oil leak, and after a whole day with my car they were unable to give a diagnosis on ANY problem. Supposedly all they did was clean my car under the hood. This car ran absolutely perfectly when I brought it but when I tried to drive it off the lot it began to pop, misfire, lose traction and stabilitrac control. In addition their cost of a diagnosis was twice that of the next shop I tried.

I have known Paul (Daves son) for over 15 years and I dont trust anyone with my cars except him--not even the dealerships. I am a mechanic myself and I send all the work that I dont have the time or the equipment to perform the job safely myself to Daves automotive. Yes, they are the mechanics mechanic!Paul has a vast knowledge of automotive maintenance of several different makes and models of cars and trucks. Over the years, I have sent him almost all cars in my personal fleet to include Chevy, Mazda, Toyota, and Saturn. I was in town and my alternator was going out. I stopped to see if the could replace or had a suggestion on where I could go, they were like all shops busy as could be and were helpful calling around to places to see if I could get in and Paul was gracious enough to take care of it for me. It was my first visit and sadly my last because I no longer live in the Denver and happened to be in the area that day but I would for sure make it my main shop if I could

I called around to many different places to try to get a price on how much it would cost to replace the body control module in my daughters car. All I wanted to do was budget to see if I could afford it. Every place I called said that they would have to charge me a assessment fee before they could give me a price, but not Dave. I called him and asked and told him that I was sure that was the issue, so he told me that it would be a couple hundred dollars depending on if he can find the part. I loved the fact that he was real and honest with me. I took him the car and he checked it out and it was in fact the BCM like I thought. He fixed it for $230 which was very reasonable and that included labor and parts. The car is doing great! Thanks Dave! I will definitely be coming back if I have any other auto issues.

We’ve taken my Honda Fit in a couple times (for different problems) and have been treated fairly and honestly each time! So glad to have found a mechanic with integrity . Plus, there’s a puppy who works there ...

I am really wowed.. Needed brakes on my mini cooper and put it off, and put it off..Finally, when I called they got me in the next business day. I had to hang out while they got it done... They were so nice and I got a lot of work done on the surprisingly comfortable couch in the waiting room. This is clearly a family run business that cares alot about their customers. Ill be back.

Really rude on the phone, didnt even state the name of the business when I called so I was afraid I had the wrong number. The person answering was very short with me and seemed like I was really bothering them just by asking if they were Daves Automotive and if they had any openings. Super turned off from even wanting to try their service.

I flew into town the other day, and pulled my old sports car out of storage, with the intention of driving it across the country to our new home on the east coast, and to my shock, I found that it was making a lot of unexpected noises that it didnt make before. I called around to a number of shops, but none could fit me in before my scheduled trip. But when I called Daves, Paul took pity on me, and said to bring the car in and theyd take a look. He had Isaac put my car up on the lift as soon as I arrived, and did a thorough inspection, finding a couple of problems that I hadnt previously known about (but that didnt need to be corrected immediately in order to travel safely), and allaying my fears about the noise (turned out to be corrosion on the brake rotors from storage, that worked itself out with a hundred miles of driving). They didnt have to fit me in at the last minute, or treat me with such kindness, but they did. And they didnt have to let me into the shop to show me specifically what was going on with the car while it was up on the lift. But they did. I couldnt be more impressed. Thanks to Paul and his team.
