Ive only been to this place a few times since moving here in 2018.Its always been clean, and well organized. Service personal is normally pretty friendly.They have a nice car service for car repairs and shuttle if you need a ride after dropping car off for service.Im normally here for maps when I travel.The only reason I have decided to give 4 stars is the fact that every time I have come to this AAA location, there is one person who is always looking at their cell phone, and it happens after each person she helps.I was waiting to pick up maps, and the other counter person was helping a family do passports, as soon as this gal was done with her customer she should of asked me to come forward and helped out, but she went right to looking at her phone and the poor other guy quickly got my maps while waiting for passport photos to print. I thanked him greatly.Normally I would not ding a place for something so minor as being on a cell phone, but I have noticed this person every time I have been here, while customers stood around waiting for help. If I notice it, Im sure other customers are noticing it.

I came in for a last minute oil change and it went by very quickly. Big shoutiut to Alberto for helping me through what I needed for my car. Definitely would recommend this shop to family and friends.

Marty Soelke repaired my Monte Carlo A/C drain hose. The overflow from the hose was going into the driver’s floor mat. He had the expertise to identify the problem and how to resolve it. The service was quick. I am so grateful to him.

I had a horrible experience with these guys. I changed oil and serpentine belt for my car as it was noisy. Within 2 weeks, the belt was fallen and come out of the pully. Due to that, car steering was locked and AC was not working. Luckily, we were not driving at that time. Otherwise, it would have catastrophic event.Before this event happened, I noticed this problem and reported to their office. A guy from their office, told me to come on week day to look into this problem. If he would look into it, right away, it would have prevented this issue.Later on, I had to tow my car and dropped it off to their office. They did their research and find out that the issue was with water pump. They asked me more money to fix the original belt issue.I didnt accept this and go ahead with second opinion.Second car company told me that the issue is with belt tensioner but not water pump. After fixing this, I did not have any issue with my car.AAA took almost 1 month to fix this issue and they were not able to fix it.So, be aware of this car service company. Ill not recommend to service a car without second opinion.

What a great team! In and out, no problem, helped me with what I needed.

I had my car break down on my way to work last weekend, and after calling for roadside assistance, Ali was there to tow the car in less than ten minutes. The person on the phone was also very kind and helpful. They also were able to make the repair the next day, and get me back on the road for my shift at work. Marty was very polite, reassuring and informative over the phone and in person. I was very pleased with the service and aid all around, and grateful for the rescue on one of the coldest days of the year. Thank you again to everyone for making such an unforeseen situation survivable.

This AAA branch warrants a review. Every time I enter their establishment, Im greeted warmly by the receptionist and nearby insurance agents within seconds of stepping inside. It has a bright, airy, pristine and well maintained area to wait in while your car is being serviced. The clerks behind the service counter are nothing less than profession and seem to deliver their customer service with a sense of ownership and pride. The way the details of the work done on my car, and their recommendations for other services my car will need, is exemplary.The AAACar Care plus at this location is one I feel assured that I can trust. Keep up the work!

Walked in to get a quote and their computer says my license suspended day before went to dmv and updated my dot card and fixed it that hour and returned back here they are still saying my license is suspended even when I call customer service, instead of just running the license check again they keep using the same status and play games so AAA is just I bully to who they decide to I’ve had issues before with a agent that was full of attitude and arrogance

Edwin, as well as this location, was such an amazing place to work with! Many different places kept telling me that different things needed to be fixed but Edwin was very straight forward, honest, and explained clearly what needed to be done. I felt like I could trust this place with all of my car problems and is my new go-to repair and maintenance shop! Thank you Edwin and your group for your kindness and advice!

I have been to these fine gentlemen many times over the years as I have an older car. They have always dealt with me fairly and I feel good about the repairs they have made. As a woman its hard to trust a mechanic because Im not familiar with engines. But I will continue to go to this shop for the best care I have found. I have also had my son bring his car here and they have done a great job for him as well. Thanks guys!

Great service at AAA Fox Valley Car Care Plus on RT 59.Staff are always courteous and professional. Easy to get an appt and work is completed quickly and efficiently.Pricing is very competitive with tire alignments, new batteries and tune-ups.Mike H

The guy with beard I was dealing with was not good at explaining issues. They are also giving wrong estimates of repairs. I had to just change the break pads and he gave estimate to change pads and rotors both. He also said engine needs to be cleaned and oil leak needs to be repaired. I got all these checked at authorized dealer and got it fixed in 300$ instead of AAA quote of 500$. So I do not recommend this shop as they may over charge you and will do not needed repairs.

Needed a replacement battery but no longer had a receipt. The battery was under warranty and Alberto Villareal took care of everything in short order. Excellent service by Alberto and the store. Thank you!

Great place to have your car worked on for members. Mike (or was it Mark?) was a great person and helped explain the things that we needed to be done. They werent pushy at all either, which is a nice change from other places.

I am in the military, so i spend a lot of time overseas. I very rarely have any confidence in repair shops i send my wife to for our vehicles. The service manager Mike at Fox Valley was outstanding. He was able to take my wife out to the car and show her the items needing repair, and was able to get pictures to me of the repairs needed, helped us both feel confident in the service. They were almost $400 cheaper than the dealership i had my wife call while she was at AAA. He even gave her a military discount and thanked our family for my service

My wife is a nurse at Rush, and desperately needed a tire repair and oil change on her vehicle. AAA was the only shop that was able to get her in quickly, but as a first responder, moved her to the front of the line. The manager peraonally did her oil change and tire repair so she could get back to work. We were not members at the time. But are joining now. Great service.

I made an appointment with Alberto to get an alignment done on my 2015 Honda Civic Si. I must say that I am VERY pleased with the service done. Alberto demonstrated to me my spec sheet before the alignment was done and explained to me what was causing my steering wheel to be pulling to one side. They were able to fix my issue and even went above and beyond to check underneath my vehicle and ensure that all was in great condition. I left feeling like I was taken care of and pleased. Alberto definitely got the job done right 👌 I must also add in that their mens’ washroom was IMMACULATE and smelled amazing, Whatever that smell is, I would like that in my vehicle.

Scheduled a winter maintenance appointment for my car. Everything was on time and they are very good about explaining what they needed to do or didn’t have to do. They have a clean, comfortable waiting room. Had a problem with my break lights today and went to AAA without out an appointment and they checked all the lights in a timely manner and put in new bulbs. Everyone friendly and courteous. Highly recommend them and feel confident in taking my car there.

I have had nothing but the best service here! They provide excellent Customer Care service, are prompt and do what they promise. I was from out-of-town & needed my car serviced in a timely manner. I was greeted with a friendly smile from Alberto who took the time to explain what he would be doing with my car. He went the extra mile to ensure I got a good deal on the parts that I needed & my car was completed the following day. I highly recommend this place for their excellent work & customer service.

I have been going here for a couple of years now and they have been very professional, quick, honest and very competitive in pricing. They have gone out of their way to ensure I did not pay for things that were not necessary.There is a poor review on here that states they did not perform a tire rotation with an oil change. They were upset because they paid for it, but for as long as I have been going to them, the tire rotation is free with the oil change. So while I can see being upset if the rotation was not done, they do not charge for it.

Service advisor: Edwin was very informative with all the needs on my car. He knew I couldnt afford it all at once so he explained and helped prioritize the most important things that should be done first. Any coupon available he tried helping me save some money. And he also made sure I had an appointment so that I was able to get in and out and avoid waiting long periods of time.

Went to this place to replace battery for my car. Compared to other places, this turned out to be the cheapest option for good quality battery due to AAA membership. Service was prompt and good. Mechanics were knowledgeable about battery they are replacing with. My overall experience was nice and I would definitely recommend this place for anyone who want to replace their car battery :) I do not know about other services like Oil change, wheel alignment and cannot comment on same.

I took my car for an alignment. Alberto from the front desk took care of me right away! He was very professional and helpful. Miguel worked on my alignment and did a great job and was very quick too I was very satisfied with my visit !

So the car repair saved this review. Spoke with a blonde women at the main desk. Very rude, made me walk back to the door and then caled me to the desk, i was the only customer at the time....seemed pointless, but ok. Very harsh in her presentation, very clearly didnt want to assist me, kept looking at her phone, all in all a horrible experience just to get some information, 0 stars for them.Clearly upset, i had some additional questions about my vehicle. Manager Mike and Ed were so helpful, were able to answer all my questions, and were able to check my vehicle immediately, was not expecting that level of service from the same building. Mike was even able to answer my questions the other lady didnt have time for. Will handle my AAA stuff online from now on, but our cars are coming to Fox Valley.

I brought my GTO in to have its A/C recharged after pulling the motor. I expressed to Alberto how the car has a very expensive twin disk clutch, and to be careful when pulling it into the bay. Alberto took great care when pulling the car in. Very satisfied with the level of car during the whole process. During the recharge my wife and I also bought international driving permits so we could legally drive while in Japan.

My Honda S2000 needed an alignment badly so I gave this location a call. Alberto was able to get me in the next day at 11AM for an alignment. My car has aftermarket suspension and requires more aggressive alignment specs than OEM. The tech Miguel was able to get me dialed in all within an hours work. I highly recommend this place for an alignment. They use Hunter equipment to set alignment here.

We had a flat on the freeway and being from out of town called AAA and they sent a tow truck..the driver was helpful and kind..took us to AAA Car Care plus. They were very helpful and facilities were great..

Had my car towed there to replace the alternator but when I left after they replaced the alternator my air condition didnt work and they insist that it was nothing that they did. Now they told me they want $1,000 to fix it. I would recommend that you never ever use them to repair your car

I would like to thank Those Guys Over at the Naperville location. during this pandemic people can be Fragile. Alberto & Edward where the guys that serviced my vehicle. Prior to my arrival I went to pepboys after giving them $160 to tell me that well we dont know whats wrong but lets start by fixing this Like WHATTTTTT. Okay back to AAA Employees I told them what the car was doing they test drove it and gave me a reasonable price and had me running by the end of day. I will be a regular customer that is for sure. Thank you for going over and beyond.

I had a complimentary oil change gift certificate sent to me by AAA. As a former business owner myself, I thought What a great opportunity to sell themselves on additional services. I do have three other items to have checked out on my Nissan Altima. I had a 2:30 scheduled appointment for oil change. When I arrived, I was informed that there would be an hour-and-a-half wait - conveyed to me in a oh well, take it or leave it kind of way, not even a hint sorry or of empathy for the unexpected, extended wait. No thank you. A total turn off.

I understood it might take extra time to replace a hard-to-remove vehicle speed sensor. However, as I observed, the technician didnt spent the whole time to try it out, then the manager told me $70 extra labor would be charged. Suddenly, I saw the work was done in 20 minutes! Not a honest practice!

Good place to go for information on your benefits from being a AAA member. Knowledgeable staff for the insurance and travel sides. The service center here is ok. They get the job done but took longer than it should have. It was about an hour and 15 minutes to have my oil changed, get my tires rotated and get my engine air filter replaced. It would have been faster to do it at home.

I took my car from Naperville to Denver and back for a vacation. Needless to say with all those rocky roads, my car was pulling right. I called to see if I could make an appointment and Alberto was able to squeeze me in. He was incredibly friendly through the entire situation. Alberto was generous enough to take some time to explain to me how an alignment works from a technical standpoint which I thought was amazing customer service. Rather than just pulling wool over my eyes and saying I needed XYZ like other people/places have done in the past, he was honest and made sure I was well informed every step of the way. The entire service was insanely fast as well. I would 100% recommend Alberto to handle all your service needs cause I know hes the only guy Im trusting now. Hes earned it.

I went here for an oil change because they could get me in almost immediately, and I had a AAA coupon for a $23.95 oil change. They took me right in, as scheduled, and I waited comfortably in their waiting room, and had some of their coffee, until they were done. And, they alerted me that my front struts (8 1/2 years, 73,000 miles) were showing some leakage. Glad for that heads up. Just a couple of issues:(1) I asked only for an oil change, as per the coupon. They, also, rotated my tires, which were not due for another 2,300 miles. I get them rotated for free at Discount Tires. So, I really would have preferred that they not be rotated at this time. They could have, at least, asked before rotating them. NOTE: They did not charge me for the rotation. Unbeknownst to me, they had a special going: oil change and tire rotation for $22. They thought they were doing me a favor.(2) They said that I had seepage around my oil pan, and should probably have the gasket replaced. This is really two issues. (a) it would be better to change the gasket BEFORE changing the oil; and (b) because of the location of the oil filter, it is entirely possible that the seepage was nothing more than oil had dripped onto the rim of the pan, from prior changes, and had migrated part way around the rim. Since it was not dripping oil, and because their estimated cost to replace the gasket was $419, a better solution might have been to clean the rim, after the oil was changed, and let me know that it should be checked at the next oil change to see if more oil had appeared. If so, thats the time for a gasket. Otherwise, its probably nothing.

Bad went in for oil change and tire rotation they did the oil change and didnt do the tire rotation its bad when you pay for a job and it doesnt get done right and then you call them out on it and all they can say is we need to look into what is there to look into you sonabitches didnt do it how hard is that

I wasnt going to write anything however this error could of cost us the use a reliable car.. When I brought my 1999 Honda Accord in for a oil change (back in October), Jim your manager (I think) walked me back to the car and showed me where the he stated the car had a crack in the engine block (he told me that this was very dangerous and that it was unable to be driven essentially the car was done). He kept it there for another day and on Monday tried a Weld solution to see if this would temp help. On Monday he called back to say that this didnt work and that the car was unsafe to drive. I asked him if I could leave it there until I could figure something out because he stated that is NOT safe to drive, he said yes but wanted to know when we were going to have to moved off of their parking lot (he then made a snarky comment when I asked him if I could leave it there. I cant remember exactly what he said but after receiving this news that my car was no longer safe to drive and his comment wasnt very kind). I called my mechanic on Monday and asked him if he could take a look at it, (because he said he has never heard of a engine block having a crack in it). He stated that it didnt have a crack in it, it was a seal in the engine. Jim made a diagnosis that was not correct at all. We will never come back to get our oil changed.

Super open and honest service

They were able to fix what I took my car in for (a new starter) but they more than likely are responsible for damage that was done, too. For the life of me Im drawing a blank on which part that had been broken off. It was something I never head of breaking before and Im not by my receipt to find out. The part that had been broken off was next to the starter and the starter had to be removed to get to it. I took the car to a different repair shop since I wasnt anywhere near (like a differnt state) AAA Fox Valley for the new damage. The second repair shop let me know it had been done when the car was repaired before. Im giving them 2 stars instead of one because I cant say with 100% certainty AAA Fox Valley did it. The starter had been worked on recently. But all the new problems happened in about 20 minutes of leaving there so Id bet big bucks they did it.

Very disappointing! An oil change took an hour and 15 min and the tech tried to sell unneeded ties. Was very pleased with the service to have a fuel pump replaced recently, 5*. But I would not give the oil change1. A trust was broken. I have really liked AAA for 15 yrs so this service was especially sad.

Service and speed are excellent. Nonetheless, they are a little pushy of the side products, life insurance, credit cards, etc.

This place is terrible!! Don’t ever take your car here! The only reason I went is because AAA sent me a coupon for a tire alignment which they didn’t even complete. They then told me my power steering fluid was leaking which was NOT happening before I visited this mechanic. If you want your car back in the same condition you dropped it off in, AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!

I emailed 4 different agents for a home owners insurance quote and not one email back. Beyond frustrated with AAA. Don’t know why I even keep my auto insurance with them.

They gave me a price for the insurance of my van, I bought the membership to get a discount, I gave them the documents that show that I am homeowner to get a discount, and I paid all the amount when I bought the insurance, however I received a bill. I made a lot of complaints, customer services told me that the Supervisor will call me back, nobody called me back. Today, I paid the bill but I do not want more business with AAA, this was my first and last time with AAA.
