Horrible customer service. I would give no stars if possible. I took my work truck in for a patch at 12 30 on Sunday. I already had my spare on it was leaking air. I asked if they would patch the non spare, told me yes that they would have it done by 4:00. I came back at 4 15 and they didn’t even touch my truck. They let my spare tire go so flat I was unable to drive it anywhere. I told them I needed my truck for Monday morning and they just kept telling me sorry we can’t get it in. If I would have known sooner I would have taken it else where. One point the manager Richard said he was only trained for 3 weeks and was thrown the keys, he always stated he has no control of the guys in the back because we saw them walking around and having conversations/ smoke breaks in the parking lot as my wife and I waited, if he has no control why even have a manager? He ended up snapping at my wife. I had to go buy my own patch kit and fix it in their parking lot. Thanks for nothing pep boys.
Listen Up! This Pepboys location is EXCELLENT! Richard, the Assistant Manager, Steve, a technician, and Isidro, a technician are the BEST! This is just my 2nd visit and Im so very pleased. I have a 2010 Lexus RX350. Steve replaced the Right side panel light assembly. Isidro replaced one of my tire pressure sensors. After about 2 months, another tire pressure sensor light was displayed. When I scheduled to have my light assembly replaced, Isidro had taken the liberty to fix my tire pressure and both times they performed a maintenance check. This is the place you need to visit for your car care needs. AND another perk is they OPEN on SUNDAYS! Woohoo!
If you want a business that still puts the customer first, go here. We went in to get a blown tire replaced, they gave us that tire and didnt charge us until we brought the car back in for the other three to be replaced. Trust, commitment, courtesy, and a good value.

Wow, I called two separate pep boys for the same problem, they both gave me two different prices for the same exact thing!!!! I heard you guys were a pretty decent organization but after reading your reviews, I think Ill try somewhere else.
Placed an online order and scheduled an appointment. Went to the appointment and was told the online tool doesnt know their schedule and I wasnt going to have the service done. Was asked to reschedule. Arrived at 2nd appointment, they had no record of it, or of my purchase. Walked. Contacted customer service to cancel order. I was told the store marked the order as complete and it couldnt be cancelled. Waiting to hear from DM, but filling fraud and BBB.
If I could no stars... went in for an oil change ONLY. Brand new tires did NOT need to be rotated... they rotated them anyway and over torched the bolts causing them to break off while I was driving down the highway... never going here again!!! Never go here!
Gave two stars because the experience started out good, then rapidly declined to a crummy one. I did finally get my tire, but I wont be going back here for more.
UPDATE: STILL NO RESPONSE!3 months with: Thousands in Damage. No car. No communication.This has been by far the worst experience I have ever had.I paid $800 to have my radiator replaced. In what should have been a basic installation they managed to crack my transmission cooler lines, which I discovered while driving 60+ mph down the highway. My car died almost immediately, 60mph to 10mph in less than a minute.I then had to have my car towed to this location 3 separate times before they finally had AAMCO look at my transmission and agree it was destroyed (I have this in writing). This was over 2 months ago. They have not provided a rental and I am still waiting on their claims department to get back to me with any status updates. I have called, my lawyer has reached out, and I only get voicemails with no return calls or emails.3 months with: Thousands in Damage. No car. No communication.They still have not paid AAMCO for the diagnostic. The transmission will be over 7 Grand to fix.In short, Pep Boys almost killed me and absolutely killed my car.

Went in on Labor Day and the guys were really nice and really tried to help us unfortunately, due to regulations, they werent able to assist us with our tire issue.
Hello,I am giving this PepBoys location a 1.0 Star because the lack of professionalism, communication and unresponsive customer service in regards of my SCHEDULED serviced.I made an appointment online for 10:00am, I got there 7 minutes earlier and I stated I was here for my schedule appointment. Bryan told me that he did not have the tires available until 11:00am or 11:30am on the same day. It was fine, I decided to leave and wait for the phone call, no biggie.The issue came afterwards, they called me at 12:20pm stating my tires were on the place and when I got there, it was 12:35pm and told me: Thank you for waiting, your service will be completed when we take your vehicle on the back which will take about 1hr to 1hr 10 minutes... You can go out to eat or wait on the lobby I agreed to wait, I went to eat and it was already 1:20pm when I came back, and my vehicle was still on the parking spot...I dont disagree of making people waiting (because I work in the medical field and I know how busy it can get) but when 1:40pm came in, They didnt even communicated me that they were going to take longer... They later brought lunch or I dont know what was happening but besides all the work They were just standing around....After that, no biggy, I decided to wait and give them a chance to have me communicate to me how long it was going to take.... 2:40 came in and they FINALLY took my vehicle to have a tire replacement. I was like ok no problem at least they will work on it. They performed the tire replacement which it took like 1-1 hour 15 minutes and they still needed to do the Computerized Wheel Alignment.... which it took more time after my tires replacement... It was around 4:30pm and my service was completed and I just got a YOUR ALIGNMENT WAS REALLY BAD! instead of an apology, discount or any other recommendation...Besides that, the guy asked me, Where are you from? merely because my accent/looks and maybe was thinking I was close to his country (Middle Eastern)...Anyway, after all of that, from 10am service it turn out to be a 6 hours waiting service just I didnt mind because I was free all day but AT LEAST YOU HAD TO COMMUNICATED TO ME PROMPTLY AND ACCORDINGLY OR EVERY STEPS YOU HAD TAKEN.Being sitting down on the computer just WAITING FOR THE TECH doesnt resolve the issue....I wish I could have given this place a 0 stars not because the AMAZING TECH SERVICE, but by the LACK OF RESPONSIVENESS, COMMUNICATION, and OVERALL WAITING HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.PS: No coffee or water provided :)
Bad experience. I showed up 10 minutes early to my 10 oclock appointment to have tires put on. The tires were shipped to them by Amazon. When I got there the person that helped me (Suraj) had no idea who I was even after I told him my name and didnt even know if the tires were there. It took another employee to let him know that indeed they were there. I had qn Amazon shipping confirmation that stated they received the tires.2 hours later I had not heard from them so I gave them a call. They said that they were still working on it.Thats ridiculous, tires do not take that long. My guess as to what really happened is they had way too many appointments and had not even touched my car till way later. They said they would call me when they were done. I called them an hour later And they said oh yeah its done. They stated they would call me as soon as it was finished and they didnt- I had to babysit them.I understand having many cars at once and being backed up but there was no communication telling me that whatsoever they just let me sit and wait.The worst thing about the experience was they left my back windows down inviting anyone to come and break into my car and steal whatever they wanted. This Pep Boys is not in the greatest area and that is an open invitation to thieves.I have seen the responses to these reviews for the Pep Boys and I know that the manager/ownerwill send me to a link to air my grievance but I would much prefer the owner/manager of the actual store to do something about it instead of passing the buck.
I called the store 5 minutes after 4:00 on a Sunday. I told them that I needed 2 new tires put on the front of my car. Knowing that the store closes at 5, I asked if I could be there in 15 minutes if they could do it. They responded yes they could do it. Making a Long story short I was driving out of there at 3 minutes after 5:00 a happy camper. Even though time was limited, they took the time to show me my options for the tire purchase. They were courteous and friendly throughout and I would highly recommend them for your tire needs.
Honestly this was the worst experience I’ve ever had at a car repair shop. My car wouldn’t start . I got it towed, and not only was the guy at the counter EXTREMELY unhelpful . I’m pretty sure I was charged for a diagnostic that never happened as well. I feel this was because once I took it into my trusted mechanic he was able to find the problem in less then 15 minutes. The engine diagnostic he did actually came out with a reading as well. I’m a young woman, and if you’re reading this as one too STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. Call your partner, call your anyone to see where they get there car fixed at. Please if you don’t actually know anything about cars, DO NOT COME HERE. Go to Federal and find a mechanic. That’s why I did. Best decision of my life.
Usually come here for oil changes and such. This time around has been a terrible experience. My car has been out of the shop and sitting in the lot for about 20 minutes now. They have employees walking around the store on their phones not doing anything so they are literally wasting my time. Also, they parked my car in a giant patch of ice. The ONLY patch of ice in the lot so I can slip and slide on my way to my car. Definitely not the brightest bunch. A lot aren’t wearing masks. Bathrooms are nasty. Definitely take your money elsewhere.
The front desk staff were wonderful and really friendly. I came in needing an oil change and a tire inspection. I could tell my back drivers side tire was really low. They had me in and out quickly. The bill was about $50, included high milage oil change, tire rotation and complimentary vehicle inspection, and and she said they fixed the pressure on my tire. The next day I still felt like there was something wrong with the tire so I took it to another shop. They informed me that not only was my tire at 3 PSI, it had a screw in it and my tires were on backwards. Im not blaming Pep Boys for any of these issues, but I do believe that a simple vehicle inspection should have alerted me to these problems. Even the other shop informed me that a simple look at the tire should have raised an alarm. I dont believe they did an inspection at all and simply added some air to my flat tire. When I called to discuss the issue I was told by the manager that it was a he said she said issue and there was nothing he was planning to do about it.

Looked in a couple places for an alignment vaciar I needed it so bad, so one of the places that could do my alignment same day was this location, waited until 300pm because that was the closer, obviously I had to cancel a few other things going on in my life to get this alignment done. Got to the store and they had me on the system but the front desk man told me they had me at 300pm without knowing what to do in my vehicle, I explained I need it an alignment, “ as I filled up in the online booking”, he said they had 7 alignments before mine and only one technician, so they can’t get done today, he also offered to re- schedule it for next week, or curse I can’t wait another week for that if I can get it done tomorrow somewhere else. Apparently the system is messing up with the appointments or the technician is having a hard time with a couple vehicles, any of the cases is just irrelevant, good luck when setting up appointments and services, I would recommend to call in advance or to schedule your services over the phone or even better in person. Not the front desk man’s fault tho. He was polite and professional.
Made an appointment for an oil change. I come in and they tell me they have 5 appointments for 11 and if id be able to leave it there for a few hours. This was unprofessional. Who allows for 5 appointments to be set at the same time when they are short staffed. I know its not the employees fault but pep boys as a corporate company in 2020 you should be able to do better.
I dont think Ill be going to this auto repair location again. I went in for replacement of fog light, it wasnt done. I was advised to come back and they would do so. I know you have to take off the bumper to replace it. When he did he had done so for the second time and I didnt see him drive my car back, I knew they thought they got over on me. I decided to take it to meineke where they replaced it.
I brought my car in for an alignment and tire replacement on 10/23 I was called later in the day to say it was ready I show up sat the 24th to find my car was not ready. The tire had not been changed and after talking to the counter person he wanted me to leave the car and come back later. I told him that it needed to be done now he was not happy.30 min later they pulled my car into the shop and changed the wrong tire. I have had all my vehicles service done here but ever since the change to service only the customer service and quality of service has gone away very dissatisfied to say it nicely.

I scheduled an alignment appointment online. Pep Boys sent me appointment reminder dates regarding my alignment. I showed up for my appointment today on time and I was told by the manager Dustin that I was not able to get an alignment and that I would have to reschedule because they only had one tech and he was doing an engine all day. It’s not acceptable. The manager then blamed corporate and the online system instead of taking accountability for the situation. The online system needs to be fixed apparently but also management at the store could use some problem-solving training instead of just blaming their problems on corporate and telling their customers that their hands are tied. I will never come to Pep Boys again, it’s poorly run
Got a battery installed in my car here in July, and it was toast by December. When my car wouldnt start, I figured there had to be something else wrong with it since the battery was almost new, but nope, nothing wrong with it other than a battery that wouldnt hold a charge. This conveniently fell JUST outside of Pep Boys 6 month warranty period, so I was stuck with a bill for a brand new battery! Fortunately, Id taken my car elsewhere so I was able to replace the junk battery I had with a better one. I will never patronize Pep Boys again.Do your future self a favor and spend the extra 30-40 bucks to get your battery at a shop that actually carries quality products and stands behind them for more than six months.

I would give it 0 stars if I could. Extremely poor service. If it’s not busy at all, expect a minimum of 2 and a half hours for a basic tire change with no other cars in the bay. I knew this before I came, but was forced to come because of an emergency. I would not recommend any one bring their car here for any reason whatsoever. If you need tires, Discount tire has exceptional customer service and superior product and labor.

Terrible customer service. My car has a flat tire and its the only car in my household. I was straight up told that I would have to wait until Tuesday for them to patch up the flat. What am I supposed to do until then when its the only car in my house and I still need to go to work? Ridiculous, especially when patching a flat is a relatively quick service. I wasnt asking them for full 4 tire replacement + alignment. Definitely going elsewhere for my needs.
Had a tow truck bring my truck here a few weeks ago after my passenger side front wheel ball joint had broke. Brought it in Wednesday (2/5) night after they were closed and the following morning i received a call saying they would try and look at it that Friday (2/7) if not Saturday (2/8). No big deal. Starting Friday i called everyday to get updates and even went here in person on Tuesday (2/11). My truck hadnt even been moved from where it was dropped off. They didnt start working on it till Thursday (2/13) and wasnt finished till Friday (2/14). I had informed them that i needed the truck all ready by 2/14 due to a road trip. On 2/14 when they called saying it was finished, they notified me that they couldnt do a alignment cause my truck was to big. So since my truck was at this shop for 9 days, i had no time to get a alignment and had to do the road trip without it. The only helpful ones were Dustin and Brandon. Thank you
Hours do not reflect services. The technicians all leave at 5 so they staff remains in the store for an hour everyday unable to provide services other than scheduling. Unreliable.
Wow! Amazing team here. I came in on Saturday for an oil change and the wait was longer than I wanted. Who knew they took appointments? I made an appointment for Tuesday. I got there at my time. They got me right in. Did a FULL SERVICE oil change. Checked the fluids, rotated tires, and more. This will be where I come for service.
I recommend not coming to this location. The wait time even with an appointment is 3 to 4 hours for a simple oil change. There is no communication. It would be nice to be acknowledged even if they are running late.

Made an appointment for the morning, didnt hear anything back until 530pm and am told new battery was needed and would be another couple hours. Why did I make an appointment if it wasnt going to be looked at and serviced till 530pm. A battery does not have 2 hours to change. I am not sure how long it takes to do an evaluation though i know most cars now you plug into a computer and it tells you in minutes what is wrong. The things needed to be done all are quick fixes...I understand labor costs but the total given seemed a bit outrageous. Going to go back to looking for AAA approved shops this is not the first time service at this location let me down but it is the last.
Gave me a, “brand new battery,” with a dead cell lol also overcharged on labor that was supposed to be free from purchasing online- I just took it here bc I didn’t have time to change it out in my own- 100% not likely to recommend this place
The manager at this location, Barry, is awesome. He was always very friendly and kept me updated on what was going on with the repair on my car. While picking my car up, he encountered some issues with the insurance check and took the time to handle it and get everything figured out, even though he was really busy, so that I could leave with my car. The car drives great again after having to get pretty much my entire front suspension replaced, Im very happy with Barry and his staff!

A few months ago, my car was malfunctioning. I took it to Pep Boys to have, what I was told, an evaluation of ALL the wiring in my car. They told me that it seemed to be that my wires were chewed. I paid over 200$ for these to be fixed. Cool. No big deal.Here we are today, my AC blowing but not cold air. Took it to Pep Boys for them to tell me that I have MORE wire damage. Wires that seemed to have been chewed for a while. SO, basically. I paid over 200$ for wiring to be fixed that didn’t end up getting FULLY fixed.So instead of fixing the damages that weren’t originally fixed, they gave me a free oil change. Which, doesn’t even solve the problem.No matter where I lived, I always went to Pep Boys. Have been a customer with them for over 5 years. Well. That ends today. I will no longer be giving them service.
Great experience! Came in with a coolant leak, Tay was very helpful; got us in and out as quick as possible and handled the service warranty company like a pro. Thank you Tay you did an awesome job and definitely fun to work with!
I have always had a nice experience at this Pep Boys. They are always polite, helpful and friendly. I needed help with my license plate and the screws, the ones that were on my car did not fit and was causing the plate to flap and make noise when I drove. Arnold was very helpful, he helped me choose the right items and even put them on my vehicle for me. He spent time with me and made me feel like I was important. Eddie was the cashier, he was also very kind and helpful. I really enjoy shopping at this store, I always have a great experience. So try them! Youll like them!

Lost my appointment. Insisted I must have called another store. After calling their other stores and not finding any appointment there, still wouldnt admit they could be wrong. Terrible attitude. Truly acted like they did not want my business -- they were just too busy to have another customer.
Dustin helped me with the oil change. Played bogart movies in the waiting area. Social distancing practices were spot on.
Came in because my car had been shutting off on me, so the guy took out a battery tester and determined my battery was dead. He replaced the battery, the whole process took about 30 minutes and I was out of there and it was great. Until my car was still shutting off on me. The replaced battery did nothing whatsoever, so I called and inquired about it and the guy one the phone couldve cared less. Only answer I was given was that the battery was non refundable. So not only did I spend $240 to replace the wrong part, my car is still broken and they wont do anything about it, even when its clearly their mistake to assume the battery was the problem.EDIT: Since its been a year since this has happened and I got an email that this was a review a good amount of people had seen, I thought Id clarify with an update. My car had a very specific Jeep-only issue that caused it to shut off while driving, and I didnt realize this until later on. So yes, assuming it needed a new battery was still a dumb assumption. They didnt look into the issue as deeply as they should have. And yes, I still have a new battery that I wasted $240 on.***All in all: if you have a simple car issue, they can be of service. If your issue is a bit more complex, avoid this place at all costs because they lack the knowledge and attention to detail to help you.***
As others have said, the only good thing about this place is the price.Bought tires here about 4 months ago, made an appointment and confirmed they had tires my size in stock. Was at my appointment 10 minutes early and waited 4 hours for tires to be delivered from another store so they could sell them to me.Fast forward to today. One of the tires keeps going flat, so my very pregnant wife brings it in. They told her they dont take appointments for single tires, so she brings it in around 4 to beat the after work rush. 2.5 hours later they finally take the car into the bay at my insistence. Its been sitting there for 30 minutes without anyone touching it.They say their techs are super busy and working as fast as they can. I see three people, one standing at a desk, one walking back and forth aimlessly, the last sitting smoking.4 hours to get the tires, 3 and counting to examine 1 flat. Completely worthless. Dont waste your time.
TERRIBLE SERVICE! NASTY ATTITUDE! DISRESPECTFUL DISREGARD OF SCHEDULED APPOINTMENTS! I needed A/C repaired ASAP! Scheduled the next available appointment online. AND received a TEXT CONFIRMATION 15 minutes prior to my appointment time. I went all the way down there in a sweltering hot car ...only to be told they are NOT TAKING ANY ONLINE APPOINTMENTS!!! They didnt BOTHER to CALL OR TEXT ME THAT THEY CANCELLED my online appointment! They, in fact, sent me a CONFIRMATION TEXT!!! In WHAT UNIVERSE IS THIS PROFESSIONALLY ACCEPTABLE??? I read the negative reviews ...but decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. Now I wished I hadnt wasted my time or effort for such SLIPSHOD, CLUSTER-BUSTER JACK HOLES!
Would do 0 stars if I could. let me tell you about my people boys experience. Its right up the street, next door to my house, why not give it a try? For an OIL CHANGE mind you.Drop my car off Wednesday morning, I ask if they can have it done by noon Thursday. Im told of course, for an Oil Change, it should be done that day. Well Wednesday passes, no callback...I call Thursday morning, 9 am, 3 hours before I need to pick up, to make sure its ready. I speak to Brigette and Im told Yep, its good to go!I show up at Noon Thursday, and no one can locate my keys. 3 people are searching the packets and drawers for my keys. They finally locate them, and Im told by Barry, the manager, that there was a communication issue and it had actually not been completed. But that I could wait another half hour, after they had my car for a day, to complete the job that had been agreed upon.I think it is a blessing in disguise that they actually didnt work on my car, I cant imagine if I had serious repairs being done by this shop. I wont be returning, and suggest you look elsewhere as well.
Very cool staff. While driving my daughter to daycare my car started smoking and this was the closest auto parts store from me. I went in to buy some oil thinking I could just add some oil and be safe. After explaining the situation they referred me to a mechanic even though they would be losing a sale. Greatly appreciated because I would have been in big trouble if I would have continued to drive. I will be coming here for all my basic car needs from now on. It is hard to find a place not just trying to sell bit really trying to help.

You sure wont find it here.They claim to open at 9am, however, I and a handful of other customers were left waiting until 9:04am, at which point we were emitted into the lobby, to continue waiting as no one working here was actually ready to do their jobs.Though I made an appointment for 9am, I was not checked in until 9:18am. The people working here exude an I-dont-give-a-damn attitude.I can only pray the actual oil change doesnt damage my car. Certainly wont be coming back here again.
I stopped by to get a code checked since I had left mine at home. I got there later in the day and they had said they could do the scan but werent able to do anymore services that day. So Im happy my car was still drivable but still... They were polite, professional, and informative. It was free. Im very satisfied with my visit. Gave me the code and possible causes and advice.

Awesome service! Dom, Wesley, & Barry had me taken care of in time for me to get to work and even called me after I was checked out and gone to let me know they had gotten in contact with Tire Rack and relayed to them the necessary information to have my warranty on the tire approved for replacement. I’m moving to Thornton soon but I will definitely make the drive if I need assistance again. Dom was great and answered all my questions so I could understand more about my tires when future damage occurs. And to the people reading these reviews, kindness goes a long way. This is a high volume facility that sees a ton of vehicles with surprise damage that needs to be fixed quickly. They aren’t money hungry. You can’t be entitled and ignorant unless you have a personal mechanic that comes to your home to put up with that shi*. Be nice, anticipate a reasonable wait time given the volume of people that use them, and ask questions for your own knowledge! The fact that the staff there is so willing to answer questions in detail that can be understood by the general public is an A+ in my book.

Great job taking care of me. Started off helping me with an on line order. Discovered the wrong parts when I tried to install them. They took them back and worked on getting them exchanged. Will have my new parts in a few days. You guys are great. Lots of shopping will be done here.
Absolutely terrible service. Didnt leave our vehicle out like we had specifically asked them to causing us to make an extra trip of 700 miles to get our car when we could. Arrived and they couldnt find our keys AND they quoted the repairs for almost $4K and actually was only $1200 at another shop. The only good thing about this place is the receptionist! She was kind and easy to work with.
At 5:30 pm on a Monday Night I realized I had a problem with my battery in my vehicle and it was about dead. I had one hour to get this handled before I had to pick up someone from football practice. I called and spoke to Dom to see if they could get me in at the last minute. He and Barry were great to work with and had me in and out and good to go in less than 45 minutes. They made a potentially bad evening turn out really well. I cant thank you enough for your service. Thanks for all you did.
All things considered, I will not return. I brought in my car to be inspected about my power locks not working. I had tried some basic fixes (Im not a mechanic) and realized I needed assistance. I brought it to Pep Boys purely out of convenience since its located near my house. I was met and told them the problem and was told it would be a few hours for them to run the test for a reasonable fee. I agreed and went about my day. After waiting several hours and no response, I spoke with the service technician and they havent gotten to my car yet. Ok, looked like a busy day so I ask when it will be done and they say by the time they close. I return a few minutes before they close and they have still not gotten to my car. At this point, Im upset but am assured that the tech needed to perform the test will be in first thing in the morning. I agree and I call the next morning to ask about the status of my car. They tell me everything is in working order so I drive over to pick up my car. When I go to close out, Im informed that the locks are not working even though they were just a few minutes ago. Since they didnt fix it, I wasnt charged but my time was wasted. The customer service wasnt too bad but the auto service was non-existent. I recommend you look at other auto services.

Even though they made a mistake they were honest about it, which is rare in itself, and compensated me above and beyond what I expected. An upstanding business with top notch personnel. I WILL go back for more service on my vehicle.
Staff has always been attentive, informed, and friendly. They get pretty busy, so do need to build that into expectations. Good partner for car care.
Terrible place, brought my older truck in to have brake inspection. They told me I needed new rotors and new front brake pads, I let them do the work. Less than 2 weeks later and less than 100 miles there was a funny brake noise. When i brought it in they said i need a new master cylinder, new calipers and etc. Estimate of over 3,000.00 bucks. I explained they just did complete inspection and brake work, all I got was a shrug of the shoulders. NEVER, would recommend this place...Since then I have heard similar events from others. Stay away!!!

Very convenient to schedule service on line, and the check in and check out are quick and easy. The store has friendly people and professional mechanics who get the job done fast and right. Always do the car service at the store. And like the coupons for service and parts.
Most of the time when Im working and need parts I drive past 3 auto parts stores on my way to this Pep Boys Auto. Their selection of parts, especially accessories and hardware is far superior to anyone elses in the area and its worth the drive. Ive always had good experiences with the staff who are helpful when you need them and happy to leave you on your own when you dont (rather than trying to sell you anything they can think of like some stores do). The only complaint I have is that the store closes an hour earlier than other parts stores in the area but that is rarely an issue. All in all, I am a fan and will be going back.
When going to this Pep Boys service department work with Dominic (Dom). His customers service skills, honesty and overall knowledge gives you the piece of mind you are making the right decision bringing your vehicle to them. When communication was mismanaged by management Dom handle the situation in matter of minutes.Dominic (Dom) 5 stars.
As a woman I feel that they give more attention to men as they come in. Like I must just be window shopping or something...yess..I like to look at headlights for fun not going to buy so dont worry Ill never need your help with anything .but by all means help the guy that just walked in pick out the best windshield washer fluid.
On December 28, 2015 I thought it was my brakes going bad on my car. I took it to this Pep Boys in Aurora, CO. They said they would inspect it and get back to me. They inspected it and quoted me 200$ for brake pads. That is ridiculous. Went to a brakes plus and found out the brakes are perfect!! Some inspection Pep Boys!! It ends up I need new bearings!! Talk about safety!! You all were going to fix something that didnt need to be fixed and charge me out of this world for brake pads and then still leave someone in danger!! Never Never Never will I trust you all again!!!
Have you dreamed of starting a family? Wonderful news! Pep boys will ensure you have time to do that AND see your children off to college all before your oil change is done. Have an appointment? Very cool. This is merely when you arrive. They believe strongly in their own timelines, as my vehicle didnt get taken in until an hour had already passed. The admin will probably tell me to spend even more time by emailing their customer service. Since I am a man of the people, I would rather just tell everyone on here.
Made a appointment online to get my oil changed at 1pm. Showed up at 12:50pm, walked in talked to Stacey and told her I made an appointment online for an oil change and put in a side note to please check my brakes. She asked about my brakes and I told her about it after that she told me theyd be done soon. I started shopping and waited for an 30 min until my car was even brought in, then took another 30 min until anyone even talked to me, then a different lady helped me out and was telling me about my air filter ( which I didnt ask for ) and then told me about my brakes and was talking and waiting for god knows what that took 45 min then finally going to check me out and she tells me my total was $14.99 for my break inspection... I said what about my oil change and she looked at me and said you wanted a oil change? .....................Like that was the first thing I said when I walked in this place. Then instead of trying to make everything better she told me to come back next Thursday and then they could do it for me......Wasted an hour and 45 min of my life. Will never come back to this place. Go anywhere else they only like to waste time !

These guys are great people! They helped me resolve my alternator issue, that i bought in Washington state just over a year ago. Couple questions and they handed over a new one. This is why i like pep boys, customer service is awesome!
This place sucks on a level that I didnt even think was possible. I live about 900 feet away from the store and had a nail in a tire. All I needed was a quick patch. For a week straight, Id call theyd say sure come on in and I would be there about 30 seconds later only to be told some excuse of, yeah no we cant do it today, come back tomorrow.I finally I wised up and just drove a few extra blocks to Big O tire. With real estate in this neighborhood skyrocketing and competitors on literally every corner, I cant wait to watch this location get run out of business.

I bought 6 tires for my duelly 3/20/18. My salesman was Lee. He was knowledgeable and also went hands on to help another Mechinic free a back set of tires that had rusted together. From what I observed he enjoyed helping the newer guys and also ensure the customer got his truck without needing to keep over night. It is rare you can talk to a salesman that is customer oriented sales and have trade knowledge. I observed all mechanics helping each other. It seemed to be a good team environment. I am happy with my service. I stopped in to see if tires had arrived and spoke with Bridget and she was also nice, helpful, and knowledgeable women.
The front desk CSR was friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and outstanding. Have been going to for 14 years. I notice that the professional mechanics do not show keen and great enthusiasm like they used to be.
I went in for an oil change and suspension inspection at 3:00. They told me theyd have it finished at 6:00, I agreed and dropped off my truck at 7:00 I called and waited on the phone for 15 minutes to get a status update. It silk was not completed. 10 minutes before closing they called and said they finished the oil change but didnt get to the inspection and asked if I could leave it another day. I said no and managed to squeek in right before closing to get my truck back. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.
I really enjoy shopping at Pepboys and there is a cashier there that is this lady thats in her 50s or 60s and she is very nice and she is excellent up selling the microfiber towels which she talked me into buying on two separate occasions. Yea Barry quoted me 30 bucks to loosen 1 nut so I took my tire and strut purchase elsewhere simply over charging for job there was no price for in the computer we wasted more time looking for a charge price than it would have taken to loosen 1 nut. Thanks Barry youre awesome.
During the last 20 years, I have been using the service department of Pep Boys to maintain my 1998 Jeep Cherokee. They have provided services ranging from shocks and muffler replacement, to brakes, batteries and routine oil changes. This time my car needed to be towed to Pep Boys because the engine would crank but not start. The Jeep needed an unusual ignition system replacement part: a crankshaft angle/position sensor. The technician found the problem after a diagnostic evaluation within 45-minutes and still manged to get the ignition work done, plus a serpentine belt replacement, on a busy Saturday without an appointment. I was most pleased with the professional and friendly help from Edwin Guerra, a service department adviser, who made an otherwise difficult day much better. Hes an outstanding employee and definitely earned my continued long-term business again today.
I have had above and beyond service here every time I bring my car in! I would like to particularly recognize Kris and Riggs and Brigette. They are helpful, speedy and customer service oriented. I can tell they take a lot of abuse from some of these customers...such is working with the public. But they handle is in a straightforward and respectful manner.Anywho, I recommend this place and feel they are very helpful.
This location has the WORST customer service I have ever experienced. I dont know if they got new management or something but this place USED to be amazing! I just went in to get my tires repaired since I got a flat and one had an air bubble. My tires are still under warranty as Ive had them less than a year and not even close to the 80k mile warranty on them. First of all, Sam, the first rep I dealt with, looked like he didnt know what he was doing and kept going back and forth everywhere and between customers. He made me go get my tire even though I had asked for assistance with it and then said it wasnt covered under the warranty. I then spoke to Eugene, at least that was the name he gave me when I asked for one, and told him about the issue with the TWO tires I had that Sam had only chosen to assist me with one. He said the way they were trained, this is how its supposed to be dealt with. They also couldnt find my record on their system even though I provided them with the receipts and warranty information I got from them when I purchased all FOUR tires with them. Eugene said the air bubbles are caused by poor driving and care by owner. I then asked him for corporates number and he told me to look it up on my phone or something and turned away. I didnt see him speak that way to any of his male customers. Just because Im a female he thinks he can speak to me that way? I always came here for anything I needed for my cars. After this experience, I will NEVER come here or recommend this location to ANYONE! Do not come here! Especially if youre a female and youre alone because they will be rude to you and try to take advantage of you.
Well I just stopped into to buy a new headlight . A man named Angus assisted me . I was buying yet another new headlight after upgrading to a better bulb a year or so ago, problem being the new upgrades have been going bad frequently and at $50 each I had enough after 7 different change outs .I asked him why ? Is it possible ? He enlightened me on some real in depth information about what I could maybe do . It involved very little research and I discovered why . This was first purchase ever at pep boys as Im a loyal customer . However $350 later I m considering changing .

I called yesterday (6-26-15) to schedule an appointment to get my truck diagnosed for a sound coming from under it. The man I spoke to on the phone said that he didnt have anything available for that day but could get me in today (6-27-15) at 3pm. So....I take the truck in at 1:30pm to drop off the keys, and so they could diagnose it while I was out running errands.4:30pm; no call on my truck so I call them. The guy on the phone tells me they will give me a call after they get a look at it.6:30pm; I begin to look at the reviews for this location and begin to get concerned.7:00pm; I call again to get a status on my truck. The phone goes through the ringing cycle twice before anyone picks up, and I am placed on hold immediately. My girlfriend drives me to the location while I am on hold. Right before I get to the store someone picks up the phone and then hangs up on me.7:15pm; I arrive at this location. I go inside and tell them I would like my keys to my truck back, since it was parked in the same spot as when I dropped it off. Then comes the frantic search for my key which lasts about 5-7 minutes. They find my key in my truck and bring it in. The guy at the counter hands me the key and says they were just about to get to my truck. This is right about 7:20pm when they are only open for 40 more minutes and my appointment was at 3pm. I let the guy know how disappointed I am. He goes on to tell me that sometimes their techs double or triple book appointments. When I go to my truck, the window is rolled down, and is unlocked.I will not do business with this company again.
I have been to this location twice and both times, they made the wait over 3 hours. They stand around more than they work. It was painfully obvious that they didnt care. I often visit Discount tire and smile every time. Its always a good experience. Pep Boys has been a disaster both times. They also lacked communication. Taking tires off that didnt need taken off because they forgot to write it down... a big waste of time!
I wish I would have read the other reviews before having my truck towed here. Long story short I payed $1200 after 9 days and my truck broke down on my way home from the shop. Thanks for not finding out what the real problem was and just stealing my money. They never return calls. Ive been waiting to hear back from the manager for some time now. I dont think they have one. They also dont have customer service or smart mechanics. Thanks for nothing guys. If 0 stars was an option I would choose it. Buyer beware, I know I will never use pep boys again.
