Very, very impressed with these guys. Glen was awesome from start to finish and really helped us figure out where out money was best to be spent. The houses were beautiful and my family of 4 was able to unanimously decide on the Scott model with the den. The thing I was most impressed about was the price, because of the upgrades that were offered, I really feel like we got a great price for the options we decided on.

My wife and I stopped in to look at Prestige Homes offerings. Glenn Fite, the housing consultant we met with, was absolutely fantastic. He was enthusiastic, engaged and knowledgeable. He answered all of our questions confidently and understandably.

UpdatedUpdated:After my husband received the news that the house could be delivered on October I call John and I told him I want the money back. He said he has to call Corporate. A week after I called and Corporate said they will give us the money back, a week after that they returned my money, minus $300 because they did the land assessment on May if I am not wrong. So at least I got my money back. The joke was when John said to us that if we quick change our mind and decided to go back they will keep us in the same position. However theres a lot of people dying to have my spot. We laughed and said its ok Thanks, we need a house for yesterday................................................................ORIGINAL POST BEFORE UPDATED............................................................I have to say that when my husband and I went to Prestige at the beginning of January we were greet super well by Glenn. He is a very kind and a nice sales representative.He showed us every house they have in, we went over prices, we select colors, styles of the house and so on so on..We were told that is going to take 2 to 3 months for the house to be build cause they were behind due to demand.Well we agree to give them 10k for the deposit/closings fees and we were approved withing 12 hours by the 21st bank.Everything was ok, we have to wait few weeks to complete the deposit. Then we were ready with money on hands and we give them the deposit and we have to wait for the paperwork to complete the closing, however we have to call several times because the paperwork for the closing wasnt ready, so it took 3 extra weeks, putting us behind in the waiting list.AFTER we gave them the money and sign the paperwork THEN they said the delay is so big that we will have to wait 4 to 5 months.At this point I am mad and very disappointed because I was pregnant. The thought of me living in a 1 bed RV with my husband a newborn, my 17 years old boy and 2 cats was making me desperate.At this point we can not go back, so when we asked what position we were in the waiting list they said number 33 this was at the end of March, then we called at the end of April and they state we were on number 17. So I called again at the end of May and they state the list is not there yet, so my husband went in person today June 3rd and we STILL IN NUMBER 17.Those that means that they stop building the houses????They have been telling us that the shortest of material and the big amount of houses been bought make things harder. But is not fair than in 1 month we still in the same number and we havent moved up.Today my husband was told that the house will be ready MAYBE, JUST MAYBE by OCTOBER.Im so mad.... My baby born on April 20th, and I trust the company to build my house within a couple months.Now I will have to wait 8 month maybe less or maybe more. Hell no.Someone has to do something.We received an email yesterday or the day before stating about the issues the company is facing etc etc...Very disappointed

Dont waste your time go elsewhere run while you still can issues are still wrong with the home and I still havent got a call back from there contractors.. once you sign its over.. they could care less

There’s a reason they have a D rating on the BBB. Terrible customer service, terrible with time frame (been almost a year and still not in new house), and house has TONS of issues! Wouldn’t recommend at all

I forgot to post review for this place. Bought a home for parents a few years back-!! Although it took longer than planned due to issues with the land we own... Everything was done, no complaints and the owner had connections that made the process easy for us. Thank you again.

Told is 2 weeks.....its been 6 and still not done!!!! Low rent contractors they hire are wortless wish I could put pictures on here. Only interested in selling you a house and getting it on your property could care less about getting you in it.

The older lady with short blonde hair and glasses is rude. She has no customer service, she said had a very bad day so that excused her from yelling at us while we were looking at the model homes they had on the lot. We went into the front office and was given a key by another person who told us to go look,he didnt say which ones to look at or not to look at and that was her issue we werent supposed to be in a particular model home

Went to look at the Auburndale location, spent awhile looking at the different model. Issac was extremely helpful. We are still looking unfortunately just havent found the land where we would like to be.

Bait and switch place. Watch out for the hidden costs. Prices are not what they seem to be. Walked out after two minute talk with so called salesman.

This is the worst company I’ve ever had to deal with! We bought a repoed home. Which we knew would be as is. However something needed to be done. When we paid the house completely off we asked Michelle how long should it take to get everything going because we needed to tell our landlord when we were moving. She said “by the end of this month” we paid her early. Never have owning a mobile home before we were not sure and trusted what they said. So according to her move in date would be July 1st. We told our land lord this but gave an extra week...just Incase. Well....we didn’t end up in our home until oct!!! Which made us homeless for 2.5 months. Even then everything she claimed was a major hold up but never because of them. I finally started calling the county myself and duke energy myself because prestige wasn’t getting the job done and blaming them. So we finally move in. There is water leaks, air isn’t working properly (unit won’t shut on or off unless manually done) drains are not swapped out, and paint wasn’t even painted just primer ect and there is more! It took me calling at least 2x a week to have them coming out to get anything fixed. They initially came fast for the kitchen sink leak...but after he left he told us that we had multiple leaks and he wasn’t the normal water guy. Then the water guy did some and said someone cut all lines when they moved the trailer (he said not common practice it was the lazy thing to do) I still have a hole in myDrywall where he fixed my leak in bathroom but no one ever came toRepair like I asked them at least a dozen times. Only one bathroom drain was fixed the other left. The guy who does the water put in a fixture in the shower but it has the 3 handles made for a bath/shower unit. No one ever came to paint we have done it. Someone finally came for the air and made it seem like we were lucky he came at night even though it wasn’t until dec! We love our home, and we knew we would have to fix some things but these other things should have never been an issue. As far as doing business with these people I’ll never again and I always tell people to never to do business with them if they ask me.
