A jewel of a shop. Friendly and great shakes. Need to go back to try the burgers, but based on the shake alone - worth the trip.

Friendly fast service. $8 for a chili cheese dog and small strawberry shake. The bun was crusty and chewy, the cheese was sliced, and the shake was syrup based.

Kids and I stopped after school. The food was pretty good. But the ice cream and shakes were great! The Pina colada shake was amazing! Cookies and cream ice cream was good too... The cookies were huge. LOLKids loved it and I couldnt believe how inexpensive it was!!

Shakes are still alright but the food has gone down hill, got burger and fries and they were gross and I asked for lettuce and tomato and the gave me a few pieces of shredded lettuce and one tiny Roma tomatoes slice. Highly disappointed.

Best litte ice cream shop! They have been around since I was little and they are an icon. And still cheaper than anywhere else.

Although they are open till six they stop serving food whenever they want to based on how they feel. I showed up at 5 o’clock to be told that they were not serving food because it was overcast LOL so instead I went to Ike‘s eats N treats and had the best chili cheese dog ever! And the service was even better

We drive form lakeland to get the cuban sandwiches the best around town. The marinated pork sets it off!!

Dont get me wrong. I love their milkshakes! But people work after 5 so its nice they are open till 6. But when you close at 5 based on “how you feel” thats when you start to lose business. Unreliable and not knowing when i can get food/drink/milkshakes because you dont stay on a steady schedule.Unhappy I can’t get anything from them anymore. But they have great milkshakes

Shake shoppe is the best little ice cream place in town. Its all outdoor seating so prepare to sit in your car, but the prices are right, the service is good, and I love this place.

Nice shop thats been around for decades! Shakes are good and big servings!Food is resonantly priced, normally get a hamburger and chips...Its also located next to the city park, so your kids will love it!Throw in a hot day with children, you may want to bring wet wipes!

Pretty good double cheeseburger. You can get a double and a large drink for $5. Not bad.

Our shakes were pretty good and the staff is friendly just one advice wear masks just 1 guy was wearing his mask so thumbs up to him. Girls wear your mask above all if you are handling food.

Good soft serve. Plenty of topping options. Also serves burgers and hot dogs and such. Only negative thing is people like to leave their cars idling as they pick up their ice cream so it adds extra heat to the small outdoor sitting area. A fan would certainly help that situation. Menu is well priced🖒

Fast, friendly service. I stop to get a Pepsi sometimes while Im waiting for my kids school to let out. It makes the wait better.

My wife and I just love this place, we come here a couple times a week. The staff is very friendly and we love the soft serve. We usually get a medium size cone but today we decided to each get a large one. They were so huge!! We will be back but we will stick to the medium size.

I just left the shake shoppe after being told that they would not be serving me. Me and my boys were next and inline BEFORE 5 oclock and were told after standing there for 2 or 3 min because a couple was ordering in front of us that we were not going to be serving us nd that the couple in front of me were the last once. No one was behind us and who turns away a paying customer!!!! Ive been going to this place for yrs!!! They have never had a set open and close time. I remember a time when they didnt open at 10 regardless of what their hrs said.

Omg. So I have been visiting this place since I was a small child. Visits after going to the park or after church. As an adult I finally tried lunch. I loved it. They have the best sweet tea and tuna sandwiches. The burgers are fabulous also. Its family owned. Ask for Brooklyn, she is amazing and the sweetest girl ever. Oh and try the cookies and cream shakes they are my favorite

Such a Great Place to go get ice cream. Its outside right across from a nice park in Auburndale. My husband and I like to walk over to the park so we can sit on the swing together while we eat our ice cream. :) It does tent to get busy when school lets out.

It was decent. The size of my cone was good but the birthday cake ice cream wasnt the greatest but it was still good. The food is not that cheap but not crazy high either.

The food or service may or may not be great. but when you walk up to the window its hard to tell if they are even open. we ordered two cheeseburgers and a peanut butter shake. I see the girl grab the buns and start preparing the food WITHOUT GLOVES!!!!! Appalled, I immediately told the cashier she has no gloves on? I want my money back! they look at each other and the owner tells the cashier just give them their money I told the owner that there is no excuse for not using gloves when handling food! take your money its none of your business, we use sanitizer he said to me. I looked at him and yelled not my business?! as a paying customer it is most certainly my business when that is my order! enraged I left. the health dept was notified and hopefully they learn their lesson. As a previous food service worker there is absolutely no excuse to not use gloves, especially if you want repeat customers.
