I do not like this Walmart.(Lake Wales).Especially the wanna be Customer Service Desk. The store sold my 85 yr old Mother, a Cricket cell Phone for $29 dollars and a $30 card to add minutes to it. It cost her almost $65 dollars. My Mom went to Walmart to buy a phone for the house, a landline. So when she came home with the cell phone she got very upset with herself because at her age she doesnt like to make mistakes. I told her not to worry about it that I would return it and get what she needed. So when I went right back to the store and went to customer service, not only did they give me a hard time, they refused to give me a refund. I asked to speak with the store manager and when that employee came, I knew that it was not the store manager. The lady had a yellow vest on and i dont believe Walmart store managers where yellow vest! I told her that someone in the electronic dept. took advantage of my elderly mother and sold her a cell phone when my Mom had asked for a house phone. And my Mom was sure that she told them that. The wanna be store manager gave me back the cost of the phone $29 dollars, but refused to refund the cost of the minutes card they sold with the phone. Even though you could clearly see that it had just been paid for and was not out of its package.Shame on you Lake Wales Walmart customer service and electronics dept. You took advantage of an old women and refused to make it right. Keep your family members, who might be a little confused, clear of this Walmart!!!

Its becoming totally commercialized and impersonal. The Walmart personnel who shop for others seem to be more interested in filling their orders than accommodating shoppers in the store. Maybe 1 cashier so if you are buying paint, alcohol or anything that requires an ID and your at self check you still have to get a cashier .

Hate it. I do not work there n shouldnt have,to run a register by checking myself out. I am handicapped n ride a mobility scooter. It is very hard to do the self checkouts.Also the new look of the store is horrible. You have the shelves so close together that the scooters cant even get thru any . Its totally ridiculous.

Its not a super center but a decent store as far as Walmarts go. I shop at this store when I need just a few items and also shop online and do the curb pick up. The store is busy at times but well stocked and pretty clean.

TERRIBLE service!I have been trying to call and get ahold of the Deli for over 4 hours. They open at 7 and I have called every 10 minutes since 7 am as I needed a big order from the deli.I just got through at 11:10 and they can’t do my order because “they don’t have enough time”So I said they need to have someone there answering phones right at 7 am if that is when they are opening.To say I am more than angry - would be an understatement.

Walmart is always good but lately theres nothing on the shelves

This is my local, closest store. The stars don’t reflect how I feel about Walmart as a Corp. or this store, but it does reflect the several frustrations I face at times at this store such as product availability and at times the lack of proper customer service. Aside from that it’s fairly clean and organized and the new additions and features being added as we speak are an exciting expansion since the first time I walked in 15years ago.

We have traveled the country from east to west and this is the worse store weve been in. There is little stock on the shelves. The store is in disarray. Long lines for checkout. And associates dont really care about you the customer. I asked one where I might find windshield washer fluid and their reply was something like Its over in Auto if we have any. No offer to help me find it or an offer to see if any was in stock. I walked out and dont ever plan on going back.

Im not going to work 16 hours a day and check out my own groceries and you cant find nothing as it is now where it used to take you 20 minutes to get in and out itll take you hour and a half and I need to hire more cashier because if they quit with the cashiers I will order from Amazon and have it delivered to my house

The reason Im not putting 5 stars is because there wasnt a single worker in site if I needed help finding something. The store was cleaner than most Ive seen and the checkout line went fast so 4 stars.

Very few masks, noses exposed in half the masks that I did see. This was not unexpected, but I already made my plans to be there less than ten minutes to avoid any contact. They didnt have the Ive cream I came for, even though it was listed on their website. They do have a lot here, though.

Rude associates and they are clueless where product is especially in the grocery area. I think the U Scan self checkout lanes is total BS and needs to be rethought

Nice place! Got my eye glasses there with eye exam and all! The exam for glasses was $79, the frames $9, and the lenses were $80 so not too bad. I asked just for heck of it - the eye exam for contact lenses and its $129 (just In case you were wondering). But people were very friendly and lines were surprisingly short or moving very quickly which you never see at Walmart. They got their act down better.

Great prices. Has anything you can possibly need and less expensive that most other places.

Is it really necessary to block an aisle with your cart or body? I know this is difficult, but try to remember there are other shoppers in the store. It is not all about you!

Very good place to shop. I went for a new bike tube and inside of the tires and they had everything I needed. The workers are very nice 😊 which means a lot. But some are rude. This is not a bad place to shop for close, bikes,bike parts, keyboards,mouses,PS5,speakers,fishing rods, and many other stuff.

This location is normally well stocked. The bathrooms are normally clean. The associates show a willingness to help when asked. Only 4 stars because the self checkout with conveyer belts are normally closed, and not many cashier lanes are open at any given time. It is one of the more pleasant Walmarts Ive been to.

Great! Good items, good prices and a variety of choices to buy especially being able to find the international food section that I love to eat, that was like the strawberry on top of my favorite chocolate cake.

All WalMarts have become a chore to shop at. No one works check outs anymore. Cash check out is almost non-existent. Its become the worst shopping experience. I HATE GOING TO THIS PLACE!!! 😡😡😡

Their mechanics are slow and should be fired. I went to have my front tires replaced, terrible customer service, they wasted like 4hours of my time. They got down to two cars with mine being one of them, they started Lily gagging and talking, I left on foot to go get something to eat came back and the place was slammed. Everybody car moved except mine. They started servicing people that had just came in when my car had been sitting there for like 4 hours

I found what I was looking for a very easily and I checked out through self-checkout without any problems.

Pick up was delivered really fast upon arrival, compared to other Walmarts.The pickup area was separated well from regular parking customers. Bonus, the pickup area was under a huge Pavillion. Only issue 3 of my items was not in-stock 2 available for substitution and 1 refunded.

Then when you try a different department to get a answer they are mad at you for bothering them.. ugh I hate this Walmart yall are the worst. Store was in clean and neat, didnt have what I initially went for and I thought Wal-Mart had everything... My grandkids made due and selected a toy from what was offered there. Toy selection was very slim to nothing but the rest of the merchandise was plentiful.

They have more self check outs then real cashiers PITAFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!! There were atleast 10 people waiting in line with there carriges to use a LIVE CASHIER!!!!!!!!! Its Walmart, what do you expect? They dont enforce the mask rule like Target and other stores do, their toy selection at this Walmart in particular is the worst Ive ever seen. My son likes wrestling figures and their selection has literally been ZERO for months, while other Walmarts get several cases of figures in that time. Otherwise its not bad for a Walmart, but Id personally rather drive the extra 10 minutes to a different one.

Go to the salon, these girls know how to listen and give you what you want, they have the most fun loving attitude I have ever come across. 😁

For starters, one of their Walmart electric cars apparently had lost power and was beeping very loudly and sitting in the middle of an aisle. Employees were pushing pallets past it without even batting an eye. It was so loud it could be heard in a quarter of the store. Managers wearing yellow vests just walked straight past it like it wasnt even happening. I tried to drag it to a spot to plug it in but it wouldnt reach. I wasnt going to drag it all the way to the front of the store so I tried to tell an employee about it and they shrugged at me.When I asked for help finding tarps, the response I got was Im not sure. Sorry and they walked off. The rest of the entire visit was like that. Of course the loud noise that the hoveround chair was making was really close to where we finally found tarps on the top shelf of one of the aisles.The entire visit went like that. The lady in the yellow vest closed her checkout lane as soon as I started walking into it. The response was sorry Im closed. That meant I had to walk to the self checkout so I chose the one next to my car. As soon as I got to the door after checking out they locked the front doors on that side, said sorry this door is locked and I had to walk all the way to the other side to exit. They were literally locking it as I was walking up and told me to walk to the other exit.I remember when Walmart employees used to ask you if they can help you. Now they avoid you because they might actually have to work if you talk to them. Especially at this location.If theres another Walmart nearby you, I would definitely go to that one.

I had a great time purchasing fruits and vegetables at his store fresh and good quality. Plenty products and and the stockers were polite. Parking lot was organized and clean

No one at the garden center register. I parked close to the garden center but had to walk through the store to a register.

I took my sons truck in for an oil change and he didnt have an appointment. Im not from FL but my son lives here. The guys at Walmart were so friendly and making crazy jokes. They got my sons vehicle in and out in less than 30 mins. I can tell the mechanics love they job and I will definitely tell my son to keep going there.

Worst Walmart ever. Got told to leave our carts where they were and exit the building .. huh...computers were down. Never in the history of a Walmart have I experienced anything like this. Not to mention someone being shot in the parking lot ab a month ago. Steer clear.

Im disabled and every time I go to shop the scooters are in the parking lot and if it rains they get all wet on the seat and water standing on it. But for the most part its very nice and the employees are very nice and helpful .so over all I give it a 80%.. Happy shopping 😁💗

Customer service atrocious. Rude cashiers. Untrained personnel. Messy store. Bathrooms nasty. I am embarrassed to be a stock holder. Will never return to this store EVER AGAIN. Im not certain I even want to go to any Walmart again. This store is particularly bad and has been for awhile.

I just had a complete lifestyle change after reading one book and went completely vegan overnight and Im surprisingly pleased at how many organic vegan options there are. Some are very reasonably priced and some are a bit more but well worth it.

Always a great place for me to get birthday items for my monthly celebrations; cake, cupcakes, special birthday snacks, and veggie tray for those that dont each sweets.

There were no shopping carts and no one to help me find the items that I needed. I stop in the Auburndale Walmart every morning for ice 🧊, they have not had ice in over a month. This store is extremely sorry.

It was different from the Walmart in Lake Wales so I wasnt so used to getting around but other than that it was pretty nice

The parking is aweful. No wipes at the door. Nobody cleaning carts. They need new carts. Most dont work right. Most of check out is self serve. No wipes to be had. Screens are filthy as pin pads.The store is being remodeled. Some of the aisles are now so narrow. Only one cart can get down them. I do not like this location at all. Many Walmart Shoppers with their big carts doing online orders. So it is hard to shop. This Walmart is 👎

5 open registers open on a holiday weekend. Self Checkout was inconvenient but quicker than standing in line. Typical Walmart, nothing unordinary. Items on shelfs pretty neat and stocked well. Its a WalMart.

Customer service was kind of rude. Then they only lanes that are open are the self check out lanes and they stay packed other than that at was a pleasant trip to WillyWorld.

The Bartow Florida Walmart always has lots of parking available. Check out lines are never too bad and prices are good.

This particular Walmart supercenter visit was good because I got a brand new shopping carts obviously Walmart shopping carts half way more wear and tear than other supermarkets because they are used so frequently it was as busy as it usually is and I recommend this Walmart

Horrible service. One register open...lines, no less than 10 items open, self service lined up. Waited 15 minutes to check out 4 items. Lines down the aisles. Only friendly person was the greeter who answered questions on product locations with a smile. Walmart wake up....there are other options. Again, Ill say it... horrible service.

What can I say about this Walmart here?Never a cart avaliable, when you finally have a cart, they are old and rusty and for some reason mostly all of the carts wheels seemed to be broken so you have a hard time steering the shopping cart.

We go here all of the time. We found what we were looking for. Employees were helpful, but only two staffed registers were open. My wife will not go through the self checkout. Why do what someone should be payed to do?

They always have everything I need I love it I can get in and out and a timely fashion if I dont have it they can generally tell me approximate time theyll get it thats awesome friendly service helps too!!

I have been to every Walmart there is in Polk county Orlando and Tampa looking for a sunflower chair everyone I talked to to see if they had the chair I wanted so badly they were so rude and didn’t want to help . But as soon as I Went to the auburndale Walmart and I talked to savina in the outdoors department she was so amazing and so helpful she even called me the next day (today) and said she had them in and saved me one. I want to thank u so much it made my day. You are so amazing and so sweet. If anyone needs anything I recommend you go to her she will make sure you get want you want. She really cares about customer service.

Employees could use some extra training and communicating skills. Went to 3 different ppl for help and no one could help me locate Rock Salt/Ice cream salt. They had no knowledge what it was at all which is really sad because 1 person was stocking the salt isle and the other 2 were in customer service.

Self check out is smooth as silk. The deli is slow but the new girl is a dime so its ok.

I love the quality and the price of the product I need. Very clean and organized. The workers are friendly and helpful. Its my store and no one can tell me different.

The store seems to always be out of product. Doesn’t really matter what time of day you go. But the employees are nice and they do a great job. They’re always there to help you find something you’re looking for.

Everyone was very helpful, I thank you all for your help. I was in and out in no time.

At the moment this location is a huge mess ! They are redoing the floors.. and looks like they are moving everything.. and or remodeling.. getting ready for the holidays. I will revisit in a few weeks !

The only issue I have and have had for quite some time with this particular Walmart is checking out! Youre only option is self checkout which I think its pretty neat for the most part. Most Walmart supercenters now have sections of self checkout registers at both entrances of the store however thats Walmart only opens one section of the checkout registers one day itll be the home and garden section the next itll be the grocery but you can guarantee no matter what at least two of registers will not be workin and even though theres always an associate there every customer and every register she just about has to go to because the registers telling the customer to get an associate and shell come and scan her ID and then on to the next and thats what she does all day long constantly!! Thats just bad business they were not thinking about their customers when they decided to bring in full sections of self checkout and do away with an actual person at a register everything came out with their wallet I personally will never go to that Walmart again but I would never recommend anyone go to that Walmart because youre going to be there while waiting to check out thats the only issue Ive ever had with that store but it got so bad that I literally go to North 98 now and I live in Polk City.

I think this is one of the worst Wal marts Ive been in. The floors a constantly filthy, they never have enough lanes open. I would rather drive to the north Lakeland store than go to my own.
