Today i went in to buy a kayak and i dealt with the owner who was super helpful and allowed me to put multiple kayaks in the pool to see how stable they felt.I didnt feel rushed or pressured to buy anything but i knew that i wanted to because he was willing to answer all my questions and help me decide which yak was best for me.I highly recommend Action Watersports.PS if youre a dog lover you will love the pup who hangs out in the front of the shop. I brought my dog with me and both dogs played while i decided on my purchase.

Had the best service in awhile today from the owner, Dave & his business. Dave took the time to help me decide on the right kayak for me. The kayak I picked was so unique & beautiful- had everything I wanted plus the price was great.They also helped me get it loaded on my suv safely! I highly recommend this shop & the business. Such a wonderful experience all around, their shop dog was adorable too!

We visited Action Watersports about 3 times. Each time David was very helpful and patient. I knew exactly what I wanted in a kayak, but wasn’t sure which kayak was the best for me. I did a ton of research and found that Action had the best inventory and excellent reviews. I drove 2 hours to go today and was not disappointed! David was super helpful in picking the right tandems for our family. Customer service was amazing (hard to find these days!) and their selection was great! I brought my first kayak and the owner was very knowledgeable on kayaks, size, weight capacity, quality, price and more. I ended up getting a used kayak that was in great condition/quality, I fit in it good, comfortable sit, and for a good price.You can buy all your kayaking equipment here thats good quality. I also learned how to strap it to my car and how to take care of it. Theres even a pool to test out the kayak in the shop. If you have a problem with your kayak, the owner would help you. #1 rule when buying a kayak: sit in it.Im excited on how far my kayak can take me. My first day on my kayak was fun, it did well on the water. ..definitely would recommend anyone to come here. Also theres a handmade chimes shop. Definitely going back for a custom made chime.

The first time I went to Action I was looking for a tandem fishing kayak. When I told Dave I needed to sometimes be able to configure it as a solo kayak he told me about the Orcas he had coming in. When they came in I went down and it was exactly what I wanted.Bought an Orca 13 tandem and couldnt be happier. Been fishing 3-4 times every week.

I bought my first kayak from him seven years ago and loved it.This week I returned to buy one with my wife, amazing service and walked away with a lovely kayak. Unfortunately it wasn’t right for my wife and so David the owner was amazing when she called him. Told us to bring it back.Returned to the store, he met us outside and had her fitted for a new one and out the door in 10 mins, straight swap, no silly paperwork to complete. Even returned an accessory for us that wasn’t needed on the new kayak.His dog is amazing and greets everyone. If you are buying a kayak, you have to buy from this store. My husband and I purchased our first kayaks from here. Dave was very knowledgeable and helped us picked the appropriate kayaks. He offers many accessories and even has a large test pool you can use to sit in it and get feel of how it will handle in the water. I dont normally give 5 stars but this location deserves it!! Shop here and you will not regret it.

Great little place in Auburndale! BIG selection of kayaks and other small water craft. They outfitted my family at a price we could afford with quality stuff. If you are looking to get into kayaking, upgrading, paddle boarding, fishing, they can probably get you where you want to be!

This is the third dealer that I called for a hobie product. The sales person was clueless. He didn’t even know the price of the kayak and he wasn’t very polite. This is also the only store in the area that doesn’t give an in store gift card with a Hobie kayak purchase. We will be purchasing two kayaks and we are definitely purchasing them somewhere else

Bought a Nucanue Frontier 12 and an outboard motor for it which they are graciously exchanging, unused for the new pedal drive system, now on order plus the price difference. Talk about great service. I worked for Mercedes-Benz for 30 plus years and didnt see better service. Highly recommended.

Getting into the sport and traveled out to there and was very happy I did. Got a chance to put my hands on and ask questions and even sit in a couple of kayaks. Well worth the time to go visit. Once I get my research done I will be back.

I drove from Tampa to the store because of the variety of kayaks they had available. I was interested in getting a fishing kayak and I had narrowed down what I wanted to a couple of different models. After talking to Dave, I actually ended up looking at a third model I had not considered previously (the BigFish on the left in the photo). He even let me try it out in a nearby pond, which really sealed the deal for me. Dave gave me a very fair price on it as well. Ill be back to buy another kayak from him in the near future for my son.

This is the place to buy a kayak/canoe/whatever. They are very friendly and are happy to answer any questions you have. They even let me try out the kayak I was interested in before I bought it. I also purchased an anchor trolley system and an additional rod holder, which they installed at no extra charge. Great prices and excellent customer service!

Very friendly young man helped me. I had a lot of questions and he answered all of them. Very good prices. I shopped around and on line and stumbled along this place it was great. Bad location hard to find. But they must pass there rent savings on to the customers. Price are great on already equipped kayaks.

I purchased my Hobie from Action Watersports 2 years ago and received good service. They were also helpful in assisting me in getting some warranty work from Hobie which I appreciate. I will use them for my kayak needs in the future for sure.

I have nothing to say but good things about these folks. I have gone in a few times now just browsing through their selections and buying little odds and ends. Its a 40 minute drive from my house but the customer service is always wonderful. They answer any questions I have and they never pressure you to buy. I find it to be a pleasant experience anytime I happen through their shop. My next kayak purchase (within a few weeks) will be through them

Very impressed!!!!!! Actually visited once before buying and was sold considering the service I received the first time and went back. Both times I was very well taken care considering a recent car accident I was in. I figured I was getting a good deal but I was very suprised to find out how good of a good deal I actually received. After Googling everywhere else I paid over $200 less than anywhere else. No one came close. Definitely recommend and I will not go anywhere else for any of my watersports needs.

Zero Stars for ZERO Business Integrity. Bought my first Hobie kayak here, used. Took it out for the first time and the mirage drive was non-functional. Basically I paid $1000+ for a broken kayak. When I went back to the store to ask them to repair it, they wouldnt even take a look to see if they could help me fix it. They told me to go sell my broken kayak, which I purchased from them broken, on craigslist. Ive been in the car business for over 20 years and this is the worst used dealership Ive ever experienced. When you sell a used product at a dealership it should be checked for quality and functionality. They have absolutely no integrity and obviously no honesty. I would suggest buying a used kayak elsewhere, not spending money at such a sketchy establishment.

Showed up 20 minutes before they closed due to the fact my wife and I have busy work schedule, and even though they were getting ready to close the owner took his time to show us several different models to help us choose which would be best for us. Definitely recommend and will be back.

Call before you go on a Saturday they are the busiest then. Didnt get what I needed but was offered to leave my kayak and the work would be done and I could pick it up then.

I answered an ad for a Yakima Kayak trailer for sale. After speaking with David the owner. I live 350 miles away so I sent a friend who lives near by over to put a $100 deposit on it. The agreement was I would pick it up in a week. I was called the next day and told it was sold Out from under me. Not only was I disappointed my friend had to go back twice to get his $100 back. Bad business If a deposit means nothing.

These folks are the best, I dont shop anywhere else. I have sent my family and friends to action and they all were very happy with the folks, products and prices

Overall very hospitable experience. I initially made contact with Dave via FB on a kayak that was located in the background of another kayak he had listed. I asked for pics and price and he promptly sent price and 3 pics of Feel Free Lure 10. I made an hour drive from Altamonte Springs to Auburndale the next day. Upon arrival I was initially greeted by Angel offering me lunch and drink. David told me all the excellent features that the kayak offered. It was raining that day and I wanted to try kayak out. This was no problem because the have a pool inside the warehouse where I was sold after exploring its comfort and maneuverability first hand.
