Gonzales worked fast with a Ford F150 I have with a leak on my manifold. He did the job in a week and had to ge the engine out. Great place with good communication. If you ever need something done with your vehicles. This is a great place with good mechanics with great ethic and standards.

Let me tell you.... I am one hell of a skeptical person... especially when it comes to mechanics. But this business and the owner Mr.Chespy, he goes above and beyond to make sure you are well taken care of. This is an establishment that understands the absolute necessity of having a vehicle and needing it by a certain time. They bust their ASS and go the extra mile for you and your vehicle. I had a vehicle sit for two years Mr.Chespy and his employees got my car up and running and on par and made sure it was drivable. By drivable I mean it won’t leave you stranded and you’re not taking a risk every time you turn your car on. Now that was roughly under three months ago. Last night my tire blew out at the bead and sidewall (don’t go to Walmart to have your tires installed, balanced, and rotated people), this morning I called every advanced auto parts shop, autozone, oreillys, tire choice, Home Depot, harbor freight, even a Nissan dealership and NOBODY had the part I needed to take my lugnuts off. Chespy also replaced my wheel bearing the time he got my car running so we called him on a whim and out of complete desperation we ask if there’s any way we could rent the tool and bring it back once we got a new tire on there. Without hesitation he agrees and tells us to come in and get it. Upon walking up to the shop he hands the tool to my significant other and just tells him to keep it. TO KEEP IT! Mind you this is a tool that I called just about every autopart establishment in this county and nobody had it; it is scarce and hard to come by since I have after market rims. But this man out of the kindness of his heart let us have it. With no hesitation at all. I bet you money you will not find another mechanic shop like this one and that is why I am writing this review right now if you are smart and don’t want to get screwed over COME TO GONZALEZ AUTO REPAIR THEY WILL TAKE CARE OF ALL YOUR NEEDS AND THEN SOME! If you’ve kept reading and are here now I wanna thank you for reading this long ass review and please give Chespy and his employees a chance. I promise you won’t regret it. Have a great day!

Unfortunately there was not an option for 0 stars ..However if there where I would certainly provide it as they conduct service very poorly and un-professionally.We took a truck in to get the Cylinder Head replaced paid $1300 plus within repair first estimate we understand site unseen but when a professional tells you something you attempt to believe them .. The amount then changed to $1200 just over a weekend timeframe and lastly upon pick up over $1300 to then have the truck NOT START the very same day we picked it up as it had no issues of this sort prior to dropping it off.At the point of contact (Joel - The Owner) advised that the vehicle once repaired should run with NO problems.He did not advise up front that he purchases a **used cylinder head** via the (junk yard) standard car repair shops keep you within the loop that this has happened and or took place. And requests permission to even purchase and install something used as it could cause defaultsHe then charged as well without consulting for an oil change as well using the excuse that anti-freeze got into the oil. However charging over $1200 this was not a mishap on the customer but on the shop so thats too an expense he should have compensated on the customers behalf.I am now questioning if any of the parts purchased for any repair reflects used and he neglects to advise this.. it seems he charges for repair states new parts but cuts cost which in this case can incur additional repair and or charges.You work hard enough for your funds, to have this matter happen and its highly frustrating.He declined to return any funds for any and all inconvenience and even mislead me to believe he would tow the vehicle in and in fact he drove it.Stated he would conduct a repair once again and the truck still did not start the next day he then proceeds to state cold weather could be the cause when the truck has been within much colder weather than what weve experienced.All to still have the truck not start adequately .. I of course called as any concerned patron would do to stay on top of things and ensure our vehicle ran as it did prior to drop off and each time his stories changed.He used the verbiage I called 10 times .. I am sure if you were in this predicament you would do so as well until the issues resolved. No one prepares for a Rip Off or to pay that amount of money for a repair to have issues occur on the EXACT SAME day as pick up!Opposed to taking full blame for the fact his purchase of a used cylinder head could in fact cause an abundance of these issues he instead stated he would call the cops had I called him again regarding a vehicle he messed up further.Any professional Car Repair shop can and will provide information such as the EIN and or Business License information as I asked kindly he declined to do so and even informed me to look for it myself No worries (Joel) and the outcome was not that of a great one ...If you were within the right youd stand your ground .. apparently you know you arent clearly thats why hes providing the run around and neglecting detailed information and now stating he will repair all on his behalf.Hugely inconveniencing the parties at hand as hes claiming now the need to keep the vehicle for a much longer period (1 week) if dropped off next Monday and if now until Monday the following week mind you its Wednesday December 13th, 2018 ...and not even attempting a financial resolution for all inconveniences caused.They are not only Un Professional, they are too not up to par on the laws at hand. Calling the cops as I call to check on a vehicle that you in deed messed up gets you an answer regarding a civil dispute as I did strongly advise I would have my Attorney contact him being he being (Joel - The Owner) had no idea as to how he even planned to resolve this matter.Be mindful Polk County and all other surrounding areas as Rip Offs do take place he gained for the Holidays and it amounted to unfairness to someone else
