When the manager of a mechanic shop comes over and says that Im still not due for an oil change and doesnt see the need to charge me for unnecessary work, I am sold! I really liked the place after my first visit, but after this morning, this will be the only place to handle the maintenance on my truck. I like the honesty and professionalism. Even though I didnt have any work done, the gladly topped off my fluids and made sure my truck is road safe. Awesome! I will recommend this place to all my friends.

I’m literally sitting here as I’m typing this and I just want everyone to know about this location on Havendale. Cory greeted us and he was AMAZING the moment we pulled in. After handling the small part, EVERYONE got right to work, literally and it felt like the quickest and most professional oil change. Then we met Levi who came out and finished us off and treated us like fam who came to visit. I DEFINITELY recommend this place ! Prices are reasonable when you want your oil changed correctly.

I’ve been going to this place for over a decade. They are quick and I feel like I can trust them. But I recently went and nobody was wearing a mask. I get it it’s auburndale and they are outside, probably not a big deal with most of their customer base. But myself and my girlfriend are at risk. Even if the risk is small, all things being equal it’s just not worth me going there anymore to risk catching and spreading or dying. It’s a real head scratcher for me and it sucks I can’t go there anymore.

I’ve been coming to American Lube Wxpress over the past 5 years and have been very satisfied with the quality and speed of service. I’ve never waited longer than 20 minutes and they always keep up with my maintenance. Price is reasonable. I don’t always have them service the recommendations, but it is nice to know what is due.

Went for a transmission flush.. A little higher priced than other places but only took 25 minutes. Other places said 1.5-2 hours. I watched and they had a team member under the car and 1 outside, which allows them to be quicker.

The guy who came to my car was more worried about trying to up sell than listening to what I had to say. I had a synthetic oil change $48.00 plus they changed my cabin filter $35.00. I walked out of there paying $90.00 for an oil change. That was my first and last time going there.

I used to drive more than 30 min to go here years ago because I loved their service even if it was a little pricier. Recently we moved closer but the prices have been creeping up over the years and today my husband took in our 2002 car for a standard oil change and was charged a whopping $105! For a STANDARD oil change. I thought getting charged $80-90 the past couple times was a lot with the additional $15 additive (I get it, its an older car with 100,000 miles) but it should not cost $105 anywhere. That is ridiculous. What my husband was charged also doesnt match the price listed on their sign. They have lost a loyal customer and Im warning anyone reading... youre better off literally anywhere else.

Ive been going there for close to eight years Ive taken all three of my vehicles there every time they needed service just recently I drove all the way from the heart of Polk City to Auburndale just too go to this one oil changing place I brought my Buick Park Avenue up there for an oil change like Ive done every time before but this time the guy told me that my car was leaking oil from the bottom of the oil pan and that he could not change my oil anymore because of the policy changed so he told me I had to go to a mechanic and would not change my oil again I am very greatly disappointed after sending me away the guy Brett told me when I asked him how to find a good mechanic he told me Google i guess and laughed and walked away I will never go there with any of my vehicles ever again they have lost a great customer

Great service, very fast, got the total synthetic oil that last 10k miles, however, they still put on the sticker 5k.. I wanted to get a tire rotation and after it was completed the pulled it forward and found it was making a scrapping sound, they asked if i had ever heard that before, i said no, they discovered that the weights on my back tires, the ones i got at Tire Kingdom (Go figure) were too big and it was scrapping against my calipers in the front..so thanks to American Lube Express and their professional team, they discovered that for me before I move in a couple weeks. They ended up refunded me for the tire rotation, since I couldnt get it completed.. Now i gotta go cuss someone out at Tire Kingdom...

Expensive. They offered to change the air filters which I accepted but I should have asked the price first. 2.5 times what I would have paid in the store. Certainly feel like I’ve been had.

Cars are very expensive its worth every dollar to just let these guys keep the vehicle maintenence in check. They keep extensive records on every vehicle and know the intervals in what needs to be done.I personally run 25,000 mile oil changes; saves money, saves time. Ask if you qualify!!!

They left the differential fill plug loose/ off on my vehicle and caused damage to my rear axle. I didnt notice it until it was too late . Also, they over tighten the oil drain plug and damage the seal which caused oil leaks. I wouldnt recommend them to anyone .

Only thing I dont like is when I pull up, and tell them Nothing but oil change, not interested in anything else! Do the fluids and nothing else! They make you feel like you have to change air filter, trans fluid, ect. When I say JUST A OIL CHANGE just leave the other stuff alone!

One of the worst places ever. If you go only get a oil change. Do not let them touch anything else. Theyve broke my dip stick, put the wrong oil in my car, damage my coolant system. I let know change my coolant n they put worse dirty looking coolant in. Never bleed the system cause my cars coolant reservoir to over flow an car started overheating. Just a bad place
