It wasn’t easy getting crew to Tahoe from Glass Valley, but a huge group arrived and knocked out the job in 2 1/2 days. A window cracked, which they quickly reordered and mounted very promptly. I’m very happy with the work they did. Even the contractor who lives in part of the house heaped praise on their work. Highly recommend these guys.

We had a Milgard slider patio door installed by California Craftsman. This was late December 2018. We love the door. Looks great. works great. Competitive pricing. Doug G., came out to measure and provide options. There was no pressure from Doug. He walked us through the process and what to expect with the install. Kudos Doug and California Craftsman.My apologies to California Craftsman for the lengthy delay of this review.

We love our new windows, especially now that winter has set in. The entire experience was easy from the start with estimates and financing. Installation was lightening fast and done right. The windows look perfect, adding to the value of the home and giving it an entirely new aesthetic. I wholeheartedly recommend California Craftsman. We will be shopping for new front doors there soon.

We just used California Craftsman to replace about 15 windows in our home. We collected bids from everyone that serves our area. For the Windows that we wanted, California Craftsman came in at a competitive price. A couple people came in at similar numbers, and we went with California Craftsman because of the people who came out and took our measurements. We have done a lot of work on our home recently, and these have been the only contractors that my wife felt comfortable with. They did a fantastic job (as the recent torrential rains proved) and were reliable and informative. Thanks Doug and team!

After getting no response nor help from the Milgrad Disrributor Caseywood in Grass Valley where we bought the windows for our home. We turned to Calfonria Craftsman who sent Doug Genrone out to look at our windows. Doug then helped to identify the warranty problem we werre expeieriencing, and instructed us to contact Milgrad who is now working with us to resolve the problem. Thank you Doug and Thank you California Craftsman for all of your help.

I purchased 25k casement windows with bronze hardware from California Craftsman. What I got was some bronze and some brown plastic. I also had one window that did not close properly and service questions regarding the finishing of the windows. I called both Milgard and the sales representative who assured me that the problems would be handled. I never heard from either one again. I was sent more cheap plastic hardware and ended up fixing the misaligned window myself. Just know that there is no service after the sale with California Craftsman or Milgard.

Great company and Doug and the team completed the job, at the price they stated, and finished the job to completion. I would highly recommend for door work.

Update to previous post. The service rep has apologized for dropping the ball and has been out to measure for the replacements. Will update again once replacement glass is installed.

Ive had nothing but problems with this company, all of the window locks are falling apart, wrong screens were ordered with them as well.
