I stopped here to buy some hiking sandals for me and my fiance. They had a single type of womens sandals, and 6 types of mens. I get a coupon in the mail every month for this store.I signed up for their online club for their sale on 9/11/2021, this store had prices on doorbuster items that were all 4-6$+ higher than advertised, and they would not price match their own advertising, for some reason. There was a lantern advertised as a doorbuster for $15.99 in the paper they sent me. The lantern was priced at $19.99 at the store.This is the third time I have been to this store for something specific and left with nothing due to prices being different than advertising or them simply not having a selection. I was able to find the shoes I needed at the local mall for $30 cheaper than their fake sale price, as well as the lantern I needed. Im sure they may be great for others, but for me this store is just terrible. I have been to other Big 5 stores that are leagues better than this particular one.I gave them an extra star because the cashier seemed kind.

Staff was very cool about accommodating my extra bags from rite aid while I shopped. Then they were good at answering my questions and not at all pushy to make sales, which is always nice. Only thing I can say is that they were not too knowledgeable about coupons by email or other sales not listed in catalog.... Still tho, 4/5 forsure!

These guys were great. A couple of people in our group from Seattle going snowshoeing for the day didn’t have warm gloves, and the first few places we tried in town were out because of the snowstorm a few weeks ago. Called this store in Auburn because it was on the way to the mountain. They went and looked while I was on the phone and confirmed that they had what we needed. When we got there about an hour later, they were expecting us and directed us right to the gloves we were looking for. And the gloves were good quality for a decent price.

We bought a trampoline less than a year ago and the stitching started coming out where the srings attach to the mat. The manager took the broken trampoline and exchanged it for a different one. He didnt have to do that, he coukd have made me call the manufacturer but he didnt and we were very grateful! Wonderful customer service!

Kyrie, the sales associate, really impressed me for a kid his age. He was very courteous, helpful and was willing to help me with my purchase running back and forth to the stockroom to look for the right size of hiking shoes for me despite them being on Clearance. It didnt matter to him if my budget wasnt for something expensive, he still gave me the best customer service. I commended this young man to his supervisor, Brian, who was as pleasant and had a great personality with that of his staff and he agreed that they were fortunate to hire him. This branch is my go to from now on. This kid will go places and you can tell he was raised well.

Very nice store

So this is a fairly small Big 5 but they have a decent selection. We typically pick up shoes for the kids here when they are on sale. We have also bought camping cots here. They are constantly rotating which items are on sale on about 2 to 3 week cycles so if its not on sale on I suggest waiting for the next sale.

Big 5 is a smaller operating sporting goods type store. I actually like big 5 compared to those big box chain sporting goods store. They have competitive pricing, and there no pressure sales is great. I for one hope big 5 never goes away.

I needed an elusive size 10K (toddler) soccer shoe that every single Big 5 and other sports store near me was out of. THANK YOU for having it in stock and holding it for me! Your gentleman in the shoe department was extremely nice and I would highly recommend your store to anyone even though I live over 45 minutes away.

Talk about horrible customer service and management. The young employees were helpful when flagged down, the manager wouldnt walk 2 feet to save his life and we had to ASK to be rung up. We were completely ignored until that point. Awful- worst experience Ive ever had there.

Its set up like any other similar store except the staff were on me and my friend like our shadow and the store manager stood there giving us the eye in an unfriendly way, as if we were criminals and he was on to us or something.... The store was fine, the staff left something to be desired....

4 stars because Colby an associate there was VERY helpful (Deserves a shout out!)and very kind. The first thing he said to us was if there was anything he could help us find? which is such a GREAT open ended question! I also, liked how when we asked a question about a product he did not know about he passed the buck (as we would say at my work) to get the answer. Very pleasant experience. I will definitely think about recommending this place for work boots! The only reason why I didnt give it a 5 is because, I felt like one of the associates kept following us around like they were profiling us or something. We were both blessed with baby faces haha thanks to our parents. We make good money and would never steal lol but other than that it was good!
