I contacted the store and spoke to the owner Mark Chiavelli. I had some questions regarding carpets and different options for carpet pads. Mark was very knowledgeable. He answered all my questions. He was able to recommend, cut and wrap my order in a matter of minutes. My order was waiting for me when I arrived less than 45 minutes from my phone call. The service I received was top notch. I will definitely recommend them to friends and family and I look forward to dealing with Mark and his staff on future orders.

We were looking for a solution to a unusual area. We went into the store and were impressed with the selection available. We spoke with the owner and explained our situation and he was able to find something that worked perfectly within a few minutes. Since then we’ve been back and dealt with other staff and been just as happy.

The people that work here are extremely pleasant and helpful. They allowed us to take home many samples of floor products as many times as we needed to to make sure we picked the right one. The samples are large which really helps visualize what the flooring would look like in our home. I highly recommend them based on their knowledge and product selection. They are fantastic!!

We have been trying to plan our kitchen for over 3 years, but due to not being able to decide on the way to go we just have made our decisions. We looked at Floors and Kitchens today in Auburn back in Sept. We worked with Jenn the decorator who came to the house. We then visited the store and between Jen and Mark the manager we were able to finally pick out a floor, counter top and backsplash. The service was excellent - Everyone in the store contributed their thoughts and ideas as we were picking out the tile, quartz and backsplash. It helped us immensely as we are not good at making decisions and their patience was remarkable. Mark and Jen especially were low key, and know the products and inventory (which is extensive). All in all we had an excellent shopping experience at the Auburn Floors and Kitchens Today store. Would highly recommend.

As long as your project goes well are they a good company to deal with. BUT IF YOU HAVE AN ISSUE, DO EXPECT THEM TO FIX IT IN A TIMELY MANNAR OR TREAT YOU WELL OR DO WHATS RIGHT!!! Think twice before using this company.It was a nightmare from the get go. It started with scheduling the install. After Sales Man came out and told me about this new get flooring product from Mohawk (dont recommend them either) I choose this product. It was suppose to be a floating floor that did not require a sub floor. This was not the truth. The flooring then went on back order but eventually came back in stock and Big Bobs scheduled my install without consulting me. I was on vacation for the time the scheduled it, so of course I rescheduled but still got the reminder call while on vacation they call and stated they were coming the next day. I stated I had already reschedule for another date because I was on vacation. Every time I called about my order they could not find me in system. On my last complaint, they has no record of my payment and request proof of payment. Would they really install a floor without payment.The floor separated several times was repaired once but eventually had to be replaced 3 times and had to add a sub floor. I was reimbursed for sub floor material after I had to escalate my concerns to CEO. I was then giving a extended warranty. The floor separated again after being glued down. I started the process of my final complaint with them in Dec 2017. I just got an answer yesterday June 15th. After many many follow up and escalations to higher ups. I spoke with Joe who on our very last phone call told me he was an owner. He never identified himself as such until I ask to speak with his manager. He ask for samples of left over flooring which I provided so Mohawk could do their own testing.....Of course they can say whatever they want because I cant do my own testing. Joe promises me I have a moisture problem and has actually done no testing for moisture. Joe offer no apology. He was still waiting for some report from Mohawk to reach out to me. I was told I was just your mad cause I dont like what Im hearing. Big bobs even with the extended warranty has no intentions whats so ever to correct my issue. It was either the blame game with Mohawk or a made up excuse. They do not follow up with complaints. You are chasing them every step of the way. They dont care about customer satisfaction whats so ever. Negative stars if I could. Customer Service is was awful, Follow up was even worse and they contracts are just as bad. We are a large commercial property manager and we use FKT exclusively to handle our tenants kitchens, carpet tile for the main areas, rubber stair treads and porcelain tile. They do amazing large scale work, they perform on time, and their prices are very fair. We highly recommend them.

We had done prior business with this company for our kitchen floor and they were excellent then. We just had our dining room floor redone and they were excellent again!!Brian and Sam were very caring in my selections of tile and very knowledgeable.The installers that came and did our work were very conscientious and took excelllent care.They were patient and worked diligently until the project was completed. We wanted to replace our upstairs carpeting but couldnt decide which product to use, however Sam West helped us with multiple options and ultimately we arrived at a choice we really like. Sam was great as he helped us through the entire process and kept in contact throughout. I highly recommend working with Sam if you have any flooring needs.

UPDATE 1/13/2020 - still no response from Vinnie despite his message below. Stay away!!Dont be fooled by the positive reviews - these are fake and are not from actual customers. This company has been a nightmare to work with. The quality of the product was terrible, and the installation was even worse. It took 6 months to complete. They agreed to a very small refund ($784) of my $12k+ job but now they wont respond to my calls, and I still havent received payment. There is a reason they have an F rating with the Better Business Bureau. Please learn from my mistake and stay far away from this company. I am including photos of some of the scratches, gouges, and gaps (which they tried to fill with putty) in my brand new engineered hardwood floor to prove that I am a real customer.

Just like the other reviews, if your project is not done correctly do not expect to get it fixed in a timely manner. It is going on a month and a half and I am still getting the run around of false appointments, no communication or when you finally have an appointment they call you the morning of to tell you there are more important projects than yours after you already received confirmation weeks ago.Make sure everything is done correctly before your project is complete or your in for a rude awakening.

Nathan & Kyle couldnt have been more friendly and helpful. The selection is like a double wow with every type of flooring, wall & backsplash tile, even cabinets, countertops, and kitchen hardware. They discovered few hidden surprises in our home, but they helped us with options and solutions and got the job done right. We are super impressed and are referring them to our friends and family.

Their customer service was excellent from helping me to select the right product for the project, to fitting of the floor. Before hiring them I have received samples from many other companies, but the quality of this Companys product was by far the best. Natural finishing, without being too shiny and plastic-like. The new floor really refreshed my living room and now I get compliments from everyone who steps into it. I highly recommend working with these guys, you wont regret it!

Just moved to Auburn and worked with Sam West and the team at Floors & Kitchens today to replace carpets in multiple bedrooms hard flooring in the kitchen and indoor outdoor by our pool. Sam and Eric on the install team did a great job steering us to the right products and making sure everything came out just right. No reservations recommending them for any flooring needs and glad we went with them over others we looked at.

We have had a terrible experience with this store. We had a floor put in incorrectly 10/16/19 and left unfinished. We got the same story about not enough flooring ordered or the installer always had another job to do or he got his schedule mixed up. We had to pay the full price up front. 9/26/19 2213.38. We finally cancelled11/2/19. We were promised a refund for labor 720.00. The manager had to ok the check. Despite talking to Jenny kitch no money has come yet. I was told 7 to 10 days. I would not recommend this store. We are very disappointed with this whole experience.

If you are looking for a company to take you money on 7/13/2019 an order the flooring and not install until 9/12/2019 then call the client and threaten to put a lean on there house because the bill was not paid on 9/13/2019 then this is the company for you. I paid approx $5,000 for the materials on 7/13/2019 after weeks I call only to find out the vinyl would not be even produced until there was enough of an order to bother producing it. (never told this when I ordered it) So when I found out decided to order another product under the assumption now we would get the product sooner. NOPE a few more weeks goes by, keep in mind this is holding up a whole project being done. Finally almost 2 MONTHS to the day the floors get delivered and installed. Kitchen and bath does not call not ME but my CLIENT and threatens to put a lean on her house if she does not have payment by the end of the day. Jenny their Design & Sales Expert is unprofessional to say the least. I will be paying the bill this morning 9/16/2019 less then 7 days from services being rendered mind you, because I finally did get what I bought (the second time) and it was installed. DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE!!!!!!!!

Too bad we could not give a lower score. Was told backsplash would be in within a couple of weeks. Two months later we were still getting the run around. Continually told they would check into the delay, however no updates ever given. When we finally called to cancel the order, we were told we were not allowed to cancel as we had signed a receipt stating no returns. No returns? Don’t you have to have a product to return? We canceled through our credit card who agreed that they couldn’t just take our money and never deliver the product. Save yourself some time and aggravation and go anywhere but here.

We finished our basement and purchased flooring from this business. They have someone we had to pay $50 to come to our house and measure the basement so that they could order the right amount of flooring. We could have easily done it ourselves...however...they were pretty adamant about their professional services. This is where their shady business strategy comes in. We PAID them to measure the rooms (Big mistake.) We PAID them for the flooring they determined was needed to cover the rooms after they professionally measured it (What a joke.). We went with a vinyl flooring so it comes in a massive roll. The guy who installed our floor told us straight out before he even began the project that they ordered TOO MUCH of one flooring and TOO LITTLE of the other. We were left with over $300 worth of one flooring that they will not refund us for, nor take back. And we are left with a bathroom that has a patch of flooring because there wasnt enough to cover it. My husband went to tell them what happened and they basically shrugged their shoulders at him and sent him on his way. So, now we have the inconvenience of figuring out what to do with the roll of flooring (which is about 15ft long if not longer). Did we get any help? Nope. Were they worried about their customers satisfaction? Nope. Were we swindled out of our money? Yes. Zero effort was made to help make this situation any better. Did I expect them to refund us the money? Not necessarily. But doing SOMETHING would have been better than nothing.I would not do business with this company if you were thinking about it and I wish we never did. (Pictured is the leftover flooring we are left with...Because everyone has spare space for something like this...)*(Thank you for youre response. However, the respectable treatment you portray in your online response is not at all what we experienced in person. The person who originally helped us retired two weeks after our purchase so we were basically thrown to the side during this experience, assuming possibly people might work on commission? Im wondering if that has anything to do with it? Also, there are hardly any seams in the room where the excess flooring was installed. So, Im not sure how we were left with that much excess then? There is so much leftover, it just doesnt add up or make sense. The only reason why there were seams in the bathroom (totally different floor than what was pictured) was because there wasnt enough to cover the floor so it had to be cut to fit. We were given the hand drawn room measurements that were professionally done by your associate and gave it to the contractor we used who told us we had too much and too little of each before he even started. When John went in, you stood by your claims. (Mind you, we live over 45 minutes away, so its not very convenient to drop in as often as we had especially when you close at 6 and John works until 5.) The only reason we didnt contact you for 55 days as you stated is because anyone who has ever done a home improvement project knows that this is the busiest time for contractors and tradesman...so obviously we had to wait to have it installed, especially when we waited over two weeks for our special order to come in and no one returned our calls once the two week mark hit (which delayed our project even more) and John had to drop in AGAIN to see if it was in in person. The person told him no...then he asked them to check again and sure enough it happened to be there. We also had tile work around our woodstove in that room that had to be finished before these floors could even be installed. We also returned your call and never heard back again.
