I highly recommend Nuts & Bolts Auto Repair! They have gone above and beyond to help me when I was having engine problems. I am from out of town and my work site is close to their shop. I dropped my truck off to replace the water pump and possible timing chain. They diagnosed it was a bad water pump and A/C compressor. They gave me a ride back to work, we’re able to fix everything quickly as they could and also picked me up since I had no way to get back to the shop! What a great customer service experience!!! Everyone was kind and helpful. I would tell anyone that asks, to bring your vehicle to them. This is a hard working, honest shop that is out there to help in any way possible!
Trustworthy mechanics are hard to find, but not here. They’ve done great work for me at a fair price. Highly recommend!
Rob, Danielle and entire team are wonderful! They are very knowledgeable, professional and completely looking out for our safety and wallets. I feel like they truly care about making sure my vehicles are safe on the road knowing Im traveling with my kiddos. They have even offered to chat with me and check out a potentially new car on their off days to make sure I dont get taken advantage of! They truly go above and beyond with service and kindness. I couldnt have found a better mechanic team to service all our cars.... Including an 88 Station Wagon that is my moms pride and joy. They handle her (mom and the car) with ease and respect and she never feels swindled. Cant say enough good things!
I went in thinking I knew the issue and would half to pay a lot of money to fix it no matter where i went. The owner helped me figure out the whole problem with my power steering and made the repair very simple and easy to understand at the same time saving me money by finding a creative and secure solution. Really enjoyed his service and would recommend this shop to everyone in the area as the local Toyota repair shop.
Excellent customer service. My only go to for car repairs. Honest and genuine!
To repeat what others have said here, my experience in taking my car to Nuts & Bolts was excellent. What I thought might have been more severe and expensive damage, was identified as straightforward and fairly minor with (as been said in several reviews here) no up sell. Where I thought I might be leaving my car a full week, particularly because of the approaching Thanksgiving break, I got a call about 3pm that it was ready to pick up. Didnt expect or need the car that soon, but that was a boost. My car is 23 years old and I know can use some more work throughout, so now Ive got confidence in an auto shop giving me reliable options rather than a sell job.
Honest Mechanic: After a dead battery I went in with my Toyota Highlander after only short notice. I asked for a new battery and Rob suggested I have it tested before replacing. The dealer was ready to replace it without question. However, Nuts and Bolts mechanic said the battery and alternator tested OK and recommended I not replace. Hey, an honest mechanic. I will be back and bring my Lexus too. He has ten years experience with Toyota products.
My experiences with Nuts and Bolts have been a great pleasure. They are extremely professional and competent and it is a company with a heart. I highly recommend them.
Down home type serviceBest place around. Personal service and they actually care about what they are doing for you. No up sell, no BS. They answer the phone, they keep you updated, they do what they say. What more can you ask!Recommend Highly!!
Danielle & Rob(& staff) are friendly, helpful, detailed, competent & ready for your business..!
We have been with Rob and Danielle since they open their business on Streeter. I would recommend them as they are honest and true to their word. They will drop you off at your home and pick you up when the vehicle is completed. I have never had to question anything on their work and know that I am getting what I paid for. As I move out of the area, I will miss knowing that I have had quality mechanics working on my vehicle. Thanks for all you have done.
They do great work!! always happy. They even charge a decent price in this day and age.
I used to be a very satisfied customer with regard to Nuts and Bolts. I happily recommended them for about four years to everyone I met who inquired about a good mechanic. That is until they completely screwed me over.My car had over heated so I had it towed to their shop so they could check it out and hopefully fix it. After they did the initial inspection and supposedly checked it over, I was told it was going to need all manner of parts replaced in order for it to be fixed. What I was NEVER told and what was NEVER checked for in the first place, was that the heads had been warped.I found out about the warped heads three months later, AFTER I spent $2,400 to have all these new parts put in, only to have my car constantly overheat still or spew coolant all over the ground anytime I drove anywhere. I brought my car back in time and time again and each time I was told it was fixed. First it was supposedly a bent radiator cap. Then it was, I just needed a little more coolant added. Finally, after about three months of this, and on my final visit to their shop, the mechanic FINALLY decides to do a block test which reveals that the heads had been in fact WARPED the entire time. I couldnt believe what I was hearing. Then he has the nerve to tell me I dont know how much more money you want to put into this car, but you should just get a bottle of gasket sealer and trade it in.I asked him Did this happen when my car first over heated? His answer, Yes. He tells me this AFTER the $2,400 is spent and sitting in their bank.I was in shock. I left the shop in a daze and it wasnt until I got home that the full ramifications of everything hit me.They had more than enough opportunity to make things right with me but instead, they chose to take the low road and gouge an otherwise very loyal customer. At this point I went to the B.A.R. and filed a complaint and in the end they were only fined with a clerical error for not divulging everything to me before any of the work was done. And since it was their first offense it wont show up on their B.A.R. record.Apparently, in the auto industry its up to the mechanic as to whether or not they want to actually perform a block test to see if your heads are in fact warped after your car has overheated. They call it a Grey Area. Well, I called no less than 6 shops and every one of them said Yes they would have DEFINITELY performed some type of test to see if the heads were warped BEFORE any work was done.I was told by each of the other shops that there are in-fact, test that can be done BEFORE any work needs to be done that wont jeopardize the vehicle that may or may not have warped heads.Ultimately, Im out $2,400 and a car. You would do well to stay far away from this business because in the end, loyal customers dont matter. Only what they can get out of them.
I have taken our cars to Nuts & Bolts for oil changes and repairs, and Rob and Danielle are as honest as they come. Not only do they have great customer service, but Rob is always happy to explain the work and looks for ways to save me money. I highly recommend Nuts & Bolts.
The service was great.....Friendly and professional. They took the time to explain the work they did and let me know of any additional issues and things I will need to address in the future. Their pricing was very good. Nice to have a local service center I can trust.
These guys, and gals, are awesome! They always have my best interest in mind. I have NEVER felt like they are taking advantage of me. I am over 50 and have used many auto repair shops in the past, and these guys are one of the best.
Nuts & Bolts is a Auto repair shop that you can trust, they wont try and take advantage of you and will let you know if something is going to be a problem in the future. They wont repair and/or replace anything that doesnt need replacing. They are very reasonable in their pricing and they are experts in their repairs. I would and have recommended them to many people.
We are new to the area and multiple friends recommended them. They are able to take care of both our GMC Yukon and Subaru. It is nice to have a local place to take our vehicles!
I have been a customer of Nuts and Bolts Auto Repair for a number of years. The quality of Service as always been outstanding and I would recommend the company to all vehicle owners. They have a genuine objective to provide Top Class Service on a consistent basisPeter Kenyon
Rob is a great mechanic. He saved me 2 thousand dollars by actually diagnosing an issue instead of just wanting me to throw money at parts. Auburn Ford told me my 6.0 needed a new Turbo for $2050.00 installed. Rob wanted to check and make sure that it was not another issue. He found that the MAP sensor hose port at the intake was completely clogged with carbon. He removed the carbon and even drove with me up the highway to see if I felt that the problem was fixed. Needless to say my trucks running great now thanks to him taking his time and doing what all shops should do and actually take the time to check everything out. I would recommend Nuts and Bolts to anyone who is looking for a good shop ran by honest and trustworthy people. A shop like that is hard to find these days.
After testing out Nuts/Bolts for brake job and a blown out radiator, they are now my go-to shop. I confirmed other places were including unnecessary parts and labor vs. looking for how to keep repair economical. Without question, I recommend Nuts/Bolts.
I love this place for its excellency friendliness and feeling really cared for.
Rob was super helpful giving me options for not spending a bunch of money on my vehicle.
Excellent service as always. Knowledgeable, thorough, competent, honest. We depend on Nuts n Bolts for all our car needs and we are very happy they are here.
Very straightforward and experienced staff. All service I have received here has been quick and thorough.
Clearly not friendly as is stated on the truck, and as evidenced by the reviews left by others in relation to behavior.Today, I was driving my very young and impressionable daughters to ELEMENTARY school, when this guy pulls the classic I know the road merges in two car lengths, but let me just go ahead and pass this guy so I can make him slam on his brakes or get ran off the road because Im driving a big diesel truck and I can do whatever I want. This was southbound, just past the lime kiln intersection. At the Wolf/Combie intersection, where I would be turning, dude pulls up along side me, sees both my daughters in the car, and proceeds to barage us with various obscene curse words. He then left me with this gem You dont have the right of way, dumbassReally friendly....Advice: Dont try to run people off the road just to get one car ahead on your way to work, then road rage out on them when they said nothing, and they have elementary school girls in the car, especially if your in a company vehicle.BTW/UPDATE: Turns out, I know people that know this guy and provide services for this business in one way or another(wont say how). It is apparently widely known he is like this. Also, apparently my in-laws have taken their vehicles to them, as my in-laws are friends with the same person who provides services to this business. The last time they brought their scion to this place, $2k later and the problem still existed. If they didnt lose my in-laws business with that, the sure lost it after this dude endangered and cussed at their granddaughters...
What a life saver They have been for me.. Car broke down a few weeks ago.. been having trouble with it for a while. Looked up services on Google they popped up, called them with in minutes they where able to help me out. Ever since then I have been using them a my vehicle maintenance, couldnt be happier. Have been recommending them to friends ever since. Thanks Robert.
Best shop around!! Wont take my car anywhere else.
As always a pleasant experience exceeding my expectations
Rob & Danielle have helped us out many times, in many ways. We never go anywhere else.
Friendly, professional, and will go out of their way to do things right.
