I am a past customer and hadnt been in a while, so I decided to go today 9/14 to get my oil and fuel filter changed in my Ford F250 diesel while preparing to change the fuel filter the tech discovered that during my previous fuel filter change from another company a tech cross threaded the lower fuel filter cap underneath the truck. This caused them to have to literally break the cap off in pieces to get the old filter off. A quick routine job turned into 4 hours... Thanks to Robert, Dakota and Mr. Rick for working through getting the filter replaced and me back on the road in time enough to finish the day out. I definitely recommend this place and trust there work.

WOMEN BEWARE!!!! DO NOT USE THIS LOCATION!!!! THEY WILL TRY TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU!!! I cant speak for other locations, but this location is consistently sexist, they ruined my vehicle and I keep being told that a representative is going to reach out, but it has been 2 weeks and nothing. I have always taken great care of my vehicle and get it maintenance regularly, I have NEVER had a problem with my engine prior to bringing it into this shop. 2 weeks after they put too much oil in, my engine started making a bad noise and it would barely be able to move. When I called Express, they said a mechanic would come out to my apartment the next day. When he came out, he told me that it just sounds like something was left behind so if I can get it towed in, they will take care of it. Four days later, I get a call saying I need a new $7,000 engine. I have never had any issues with my vehicle. This place is a joke and Im ashamed that I have given them ANY money.I have been trying to handle this directly with the business, but they refuse to contact me. Just because I am a young woman doesnt mean you can ruin my car and get away with it. They refused to listen to me and said I didnt know what I was talking about when I tried telling them I have a 5 quart engine. I just want this business to do the right thing. I am a starving college student and without a car it makes it impossible to get to work/ school, but they ruined my engine and then said they couldnt do anything about it.This isnt even the first sexist encounter I have had with them. Last time I brought my car in for new tires and didnt balance the tires correctly so when I was on the highway headed to Montgomery, one of the weights had fallen off so I wasnt able to drive over 25 mph without feeling like my car was going to drive off the road. The next day when I brought it in, they told me TO MY FACE that I didnt know what I was talking about and that I was being dramatic. Not to mention, every time they called my phone, they asked to speak to my husband, dad or brother... I told them its my name on the title and its my name on the service request... its my car.

Alan took grear care of me - he was so friendly and accommodating! And Robert took good care of my car with a full service oil change in about 10 mins!! Their prices were the best I found - even before the $5 discount Alan gave when I paid. *FIVE STARS AND THEN SOME - THANKS GUYS!!!

$100 oil change for my 2018 Silverado truck, unbelievable.

Before today we have never had a problem with this location. I have gone and had my oil changed with no problems. My daughter after getting her car this is where I told her to go. These guys have been excellent up until today. I sent my daughter up to get an oil change and I wanted her to have her tires looked at, the light keeps coming on. I was on the phone with her and she told the guy that she needed an oil change and for them to check out her tires. The guy says no problem it will be a few minutes, there were a few cars in front of her. Well she gets up there they hurry up and do the oil change and rush her out without looking at her tires! She is going out of town and I am trying to make sure that everything is good and safe for her to do so. Now I have to get her to go to another place and get her tires looked at. Thanks guys! I guess since you are too busy to make sure that my daughters car is safe for her to travel out of town it is time for us to find someone else that will gladly take our business.

Been a customer for years and they have always been good but this time my cap was not put on correctly causing smoke and oil splatter EVERYWHERE and could have been very dangerous. The managers stepped up and corrected the issues for me an even paid for my car wash. And after towing my car back to the shop and keeping it all day I only ended up with about 3 qt of oil I couldnt even go back 💔

I’ve been a customer of Express Oil for years and several different vehicles. I recently moved from the Tiger Town location to the Opelika Road store due to a bad experience at Tiger Town. I’ve been pleased, to the point, I decided to purchase tires from them. I bought a set of Goodyear Wranglers for my 2017 GMC Canyon. I felt the price was fair. However, it goes downhill from that. I was told to come in at 1 PM and as I arrived, I was asked to call back at 2 PM for an actual time. I did, returned at 2:30 and they got to me another half hour later. Upon completion of the install, I was advised the tire sensor wasn’t working on one tire, but it would work itself out as I drove. So I left to be called two hours later to please come back because they didn’t torque the lug nuts. I went back immediately and they did. It was apparent that it had not been done. I went back a few weeks later about the tire monitor system still not working. The manager, who wasn’t a mechanic, said he didn’t know how to do it but he’d try. Oddly, he was the one that checked it the first time. After about 40 minutes he printed the instructions to give me, saying he couldn’t fix it. After I read the instructions when home, I discovered he had not completely followed them. It is still not working, but I won’t waste my time with that shop again. That manager, wearing a Red Shirt, didn’t wear a mask the first time I was there but did part of the time on my second visit. I’m not a big customer but regret the $850 spend for less than stellar service. I won’t go back!UPDATE: 4/23/21 - I reached out as they requested and have not gotten any further response. You decide. Very disappointed, as I like the Oil change model they have. :(

I enjoyed my experience at this particular location. I Wouldn’t recommend you to go anywhere else but Auburn’s location. Very friendly, detailed, helpful and swift. The service was wonderful. I will definitely return! Thanks fellas for all that you do. Essential workers matter!

The best service Ive had getting my oil changed, hands down! Express has always been kind and professional, but Kirsten went above and beyond explaining to me every detail of the process as it was being performed, she helped me understand what benefits are in different oils for my cars mileage, she was bubbly and incredibly sweet the whole time, too! At the end of my service she even gave me a couple of coupons for my next oil change. If for no other reason, I will be going back to this location specifically because of Kirstens attitude and professionalism!

I asked about some work being done on a vehicle because they said to come back later on so I came back later just to ask a question and the mechanic that was supposed to work on it was cursing and swearing heavy when the guy up front asked him about it. So he said they couldnt do it today thats all they had to say.

The manager was so nice and responsive. He handled everything, including towing my car and getting it back to me. My car was towed, fixed, and delivered back to me in just a few hours. I have never had such a great experience at a car service place! Car troubles can be very stressful, but the manager and coworkers made it as simple and smooth as possible!

Superb service! I came here two times within a week. The first was for a simple oil change and tire rotation and balancing. I was informed that I needed my rear brakes replaced and came back a week later to have them replaced. Service was fast and done appropriately the first time! Definitely recommend especially for college students. The pricing is affordable and the staff is excellent and caring.

I was here to buy 4 tires and change engine oil on 5th Jun and they had no inventory at the moment so they ordered 4 new tires for me and wanted me to come again next Saturday. I came back here next Saturday again and I dropped my car for changing engine oil and 4 new tires. I came back 2 hours later and they told me that they could not change my tires because someone sold my tires that I ordered last Saturday. I asked them why not tell and call me about that. They told me they called me but I didn’t answer the phone call. I never got the phone call from them.

Usually go to the other auburn location but they do give pretty good service here (been to this location 5 times or so) despite a few men trying to constantly up-sale by pushing for things I don’t need even after I say no. My bad review today is because I was racially profiled by the Mexican guy (hate to give a description like that but don’t know his name). He watched me opened my wallet and saw two debit/credit cards. After I handed one to him, he proceeded to ask for my i.d. and looked at the signature on the back of the card for a little bit and I didn’t argue but I found that disrespectful given that I’ve been a customer here several times especially for a $7 brake light and they have never asked for that before.

The staff was absolutely helpful and encouraging. I trust them more than my own mechanic! My car was driving rough and has over 101,000 miles and its driving better than when I brought it in. I got an oil change with high mileage oil, a tire balance and rotation, and the changed one of my parking lights (cosmetic). Ill be coming back to have my air conditioning fixed.

I came in for a oil change and was talked into changing my fuel filters. After an hour and a half I was getting concerned how long it was taking. They advised that it was normal that they had to flush the air out of the line. When they were finished, I told them it didn’t sound like my truck was running right. They said it was just a little air in the fuel line it would work it’s way out. After I left, I didn’t get 5 miles down the road and my truck died. The next day I took my truck to the dealership, it died again on the way to the dealership. It turned out they tore the o ring when they put the fuel filter on. They may know how to do an oil change but not fuel filters. I don’t feel like they took my concerns seriously. I will not be back.

Why have appointments if your not going to honor them? Sat 20 minutes and had to find manager who said they couldnt rotate and balance stock size tires in hour cause they are to big.

I came in for an oil change and they asked if I wanted a tire rotation as well. I agreed happily. I paid and left after the service was done.On the way home, the car starts to make a weird shaking sound like Im on a helicopter... I took the car back to Express Oil Change and the manager tested drive the car around. After he came back, he said my axes or something were not aligned and that it would take $300 to fix.I could not believe it since the car had not even made any sound before I came in Express Oil Change?!? It had been running fine! I then took the vehicle to KIA a day later just to find out that all 3/4 bolts of the right rear wheel were all gone. THEY FORGOT TO TIGHTEN THE BOLTS AFTER TIRE ROTATION AND even DIAGNOSED A DIFFERENT $300-worth ISSUE upon A re-TEST DRIVE.I could have been killed..After the wheel bolts were tighten, the vehicle ran just fine as usual.I took a video of that loose wheel and came back to Express Oil Change. They apologized and gave me $60 gift card. I threw the card away as I was scared of the near-death experience, and their irresponsibility.Nobody should come there for services.There are two (old) managers there: one short with glasses, one big. Mine was the latter one. AVOID him!

DO NOT GO HERE! I stopped in for a 5w30 Full Synthetic oil change for $75. I noticed they put on the sticker to have the next oil change at 3,000 miles. If you check the specs on 5w30, it suggests changing the oil every 5,000 to 7,500 miles. When the technician asked the Manager on duty, Rick, why they put 3,000 miles on the sticker for Full Synthetic oil, Rick said it was for money! They want the customer to come back every 3,000 miles even though recommendations put the minimum at 5,000 miles. I was so upset I called the GM, Jeff, and after a long discussion, I asked him what oil he uses and he said the Full Synthetic. I then asked him how often he changes his oil and he said around 4,500 to 5,000. THE GM DOES NOT EVEN CHANGE HIS OIL AT 3,000 MILES! This is a very deceptive practice to get customers to pay the highest cost for an oil change and then get it replaced earlier than needed to get more business. At a VERY MINIMAL, the company should tell you they are putting the miles at 3,000 and then ASK the customer if they want to change the mileage. I used to think this was an honest company but after what the Manager AND GM said, I am very disappointed to say it is NOT. Its sad because this was about the 8th time I have used them for both of my vehicles. NEVER AGAIN, I am taking my business to an honest company that does not knowingly deceive their customers!

I did not like the service here. I was not made aware of what I was paying for and what was a free service. I felt taken advantage of. I wasn’t really told what to expect and I didn’t feel like I was given enough information about what services I was receiving.

Ran by Express to ask a question about my vette, didnt expect much help because usually when you are not spending money you dont get much...WOW, I was wrong! I received some great advise on some of the high dollar oils and one of the gentlemen there even took the time to look up the different oil filters numbers for me!!! Its nice to know that you can get great advise and assistance even when you are not spending money!

The service was fine, however they promise a “10 minute oil change” but if you factor in information intake and all the questions they ask you about which products to use, it certainly does not clock in under 10 minutes. I had no wait time behind another car and was there about 30 minutes.

Getting to be unprofessional. Spilling oil on the engine and today dropped a drop of oil inside my wifes door when they showed the dipstick, then wiped it up with their oil rag. This has happened in the past with the oil burning off on the engine and my wife thinks the motor has blown up. Sloppy.

Lazy guy didnt want to patch tire saying the hole was in the wall so he tried to sell me new tires. I went to another shop and they fixed it-- it wasnt on the wall of the tire it was actually at the bottom if he had actually took the time to looked. Second, and final draw was when they tried to explain to me (im a chemist) about it not mattering which color cooliant they use. if this was the case there would only be 1 color for all cars. you dont mix colors because you will have to replace your cooliant because it will start to solidify. this is a money scam because they will talk you into a cooliant change or u mess up your radiator etc..

Drive thru oil changes! While changing your oil theyll also check your fluid levels, belts, etc. If they see anything wrong theyll give you a quote on how much theyd charge to fix it but wont try to pressure you into going through with it.
