DJ is a really hard working salesman. I was In the market for a used van. They didnt have what I wanted but I gave DJ details of the must haves and he said whenever he gets something in he would call me. It rocked on a month or so and I had forgotten about it. But.... DJ called, had a great deal on a used Toyota sienna. I drove it, decided it was a great fit for my family. And within a few hours the deal was closed. Great quality vehicles and even better team members. Thank a bunch DJ.

The service center of Honda is very terrible. I dont understand their technique to fix it. My car is CR-V and the mileage is just 11k. But there are son many AWD system problem on the dashboard. They did not what happen. So, Ive many times visit there, but it continue same problem. Even a technical manager is irresponsible. Im not going to buy Honda car never

Absolute terrible customer service. Phone number on website and Google does not work. Tried to schedule a service appointment through the website and the customer service rep on the chat feature was not helpful. Asked for a number to call so I could talk to someone at the dealership and the rep said “sure” and then nothing. They eventually provided me a 800 number that went to the parts department and once again no answer. I am a faithful Honda owner and would like to lease another one but I will not be doing it through this dealership.

Dont waste your time like I did. Instead just make the trip over to Honda in Columbus. The service will be top-notch. I travel constantly and have owned Hondas for 25 years. I have been to dealerships everywhere. I had a minor issue that could have been fixed quickly. Upon arriving at the run down shop the workers did everything they could to avoid acknowledging me. Wish I could have got his name specifically in the parts dept. He literally jumped on his cell phone when he saw me walk up. He didnt have a name tag on. Then I went into the service dept door and the man behind the counter has the audacity to tell me we MIGHT get you some time this afternoon. Mind you Im traveling through which I mentioned, and Im a single female. The issue literally just required a look at and some advice. Being in the medical field I understand being busy better then anyone. BUT there is never an excuse for being rude, and dismissive in business. I literally drive 45 mins to another dealership because you guys were so rude!

This world needs more people like Peter and Jeremy - they are truly some of the nicest people I’ve ever met! My daughter and I were on our way home when her Honda broke down in a super bad unsafe area. AAA did nothing to help. Not knowing anything about where we were (we were about 3 hours from home), I decided to try to call the closest Honda dealership to see if they had any recommendations. Not only did Peter helped me dispatch Honda roadside services, but he gave me his personal cell number in case we needed anything while waiting for the tow truck. The sweetest part was that he and Jeremy waited for over an hour after they closed to help us get the car drivable so that we could get home. We truly cannot thank them both enough!

In my opinion, BY the way I’ve owned at least one Honda since 1989 purchasing & maintaining my Honda’s- 1 Acura- exclusively at Honda over 4 states. I now have a Honda fleet (4) - I’ve never seen a Honda that looks like this or has had the audacity to treated an Educated, professional, Adult, Woman Engineer & Mother (of an Auburn University student) in the manner I was treated. Criminal. I couldn’t imagine a more poorly run dealership. I’m not sure why Honda allows a dealership to be able to operate with completely dilapidated facilities and non responsive service department. Folks in Auburn should avoid this mismanaged dump and drive 45 min to the Lagrange or Montgomery Honda dealership.

Back in February I brought my car in for just an oil change, but it ended up costing me over 400 dollars. However, I was willing to pay for it since I live over an hour and a half away, and it is a big deal for my car to be safe. Immediately after I left I noticed that wind was whistling through one of my doors and my brakes were squeaking. Then my radio completely stops working, and I decided to give this place another chance. We then brought my car in to get diagnosed, and were not made aware that they did not have a shuttle or anyway for us to leave the property besides uber. After the diagnoses we got told by the service lady, to bring our car back in two days on Wednesday and that our rental would be free for two days, and that warranty would be covering the costs. Later that day we get a call from this same lady and in this call she tells us that my car would cost us at least 1800 dollars to get fixed, and that we had to pay for the rental car that we were driving. They also said that the pipe that needed to be fixed was bent in on purpose, and that we had done it (keep in mind that the only people who drive this car are two females who know nothing about cars). We were livid. They put the car back together and we got a second opinion, and turns out what they stated is wrong isnt.The sales lady also reprimended a child for something she knew nothing about. I would give this place zero stars if I had the option. Overall, this is the worst experience I have ever had with a car place!

Dont think they do inspection on vehicles as other honda service places Ive gone to. Wiper fluid went out few days before I sent it there was no refilled. Plus last oil change I had guy told me brakes were ok but should look into getting them changed..King honda told me they were good..But when I looked at brake fluid res. it showed I was low o fluid meaning too much pressure is needed to break, meaning pads were low. 2 stars cause I hope they did the oil change. But no one told me anything about possoble upcoming maintenance which maybe needed soon as .other places and on sheet had breakes in green

I took my car to be serviced for three warning lights that repeatedly came on intermittently (VSA, Power Steering and Emission). They stated it would cost $120 to diagnose the problem. Four hours later they called to tell me they found two pistons misfiring but it would cost another $120 to go any further to determine what was causing it.I would give a negative number if possible. This service department is BY FAR the most dishonest service department with whom I have ever dealt in the past 34 years that I have been driving. I wouldn’t take my bicycle to them for repairs!!

Worst experience I have ever had with an auto service dealership. This makes Honda look really bad. Dropped my daughters car off via AAA tow on Monday and nothing has happened. Communication has been lacking when they said they would call me back they never would and has happened every day since then. If you’re not sure, DO NOT come here!Last week I stopped in the service department to ask if they would be able to fix my car’s broken sunroof seal. It is torn, off of its track, dry-rotted and very obviously needs replacing. The man at the front desk walks out with me to my car to see the problem and sees it as clearly as I could. We went back into the shop to set up an appointment that ended up being for a whole week later which was excessively long for the possibility of my car getting flooded if it rained. Today after the week had gone by, I took my car in told them my name and that I had an appointment, which they seemed not to even have on their books of me scheduling, asked for my address, phone number, and for the keys. Nearly 2 hours later I finally get a call back from them saying they didn’t have the part in stock, that they hadn’t done any kind of research on what my options were before my appointment (which we agreed they would do), told me they couldn’t get the seal as an individual part but would have to replace the whole sunroof instead, and that if I wanted that done it would be over $700 for it or if not that they would only charge $110 for running their “diagnostics”. A fee for “Diagnostics” to look at my car for no more than a minute to tell my seal had dry-rotted and needed replacing, really? It ended up being $117.70 after an additional charge of “supplies and/or hazardous waste removal” for a single floor mat, some identifying tags for my car and keys and some receipts. Not to mention there wasn’t a seat cover used despite their own disclosure sign saying they would be using them to slow the spread of coronavirus. I do not feel as though this charge was necessary and very much should have been avoided if they would done the work that was expected of them ahead of time. They will not be receiving any more of my business nor should they receive yours if your issue isn’t urgent or too difficult to do yourself.

Ive been going here for a number of years for service on my Honda. I dont have anything but good things to say about them! Ive always had a great experience and they really value loyal customers. Theyve kept my car running in perfect condition and never made me feel like they were upselling anything or treating me like a woman who doesnt know anything (a rare quality in my experience with car service shops!). They always take time to explain to me what was done and why they did it. They clearly indicate the wear on each of the car components so that I have a record and can anticipate service that I might need in the future. I went to another Honda location once and they said I needed new brakes. They didnt give me any other reason than the service guys opinion. I took my car to King Honda and told them that the other place had said I needed new brakes at my next visit. King Honda measured the wear and said it wasnt necessary based on the wear. I was very impressed by the fact that they went by the numbers rather than taking the chance to sell me some brakes that I didnt really need quite yet. Even after I moved away from Auburn, I still come back to get my car serviced here. Thanks to everyone there for keeping me a happy customer!

Very unprofessional, kept my car 4 days past when they said it could be completed, changed my ignition switch/cylinder and broke my windshield switch and after said that there was no proof that they did it. We used to take our Honda Accord to Honda Auto Nation in Columbus Ga., after having to deal with rude costumer service and them replacing my battery which was perfectly fine we changed to King Honda. Staff is very friendly and I wasnt pressured to have other work done than what I brought my Honda in for. Fast and friendly service, overall our experience was very good.

Dealerships=Stealerships. King Honda is a good example of this fact.My battery cable got corroded. I got my car towed to King Honda. It took them 4 days(!) to figure out the problem and they said the cable should be replaced which costs $260. I said no and got my car towed to Auburn Starters and Generators. They cleaned up the cable for $10 in 15 minutes and the car worked just fine. Honda didn’t even bother cleaning up the cable (which is something very easy for them to do) and charged me $60 diagnostic fee. STAY AWAY from King Honda! They will try to steal your money from the very first moment you walk into the service.

The worst dealership ever. Bought a brand new, touring model Accord from them, and they cant keep my name or service records straight. Service department does not want to help you with issues and is rude. Waiting room is dirty, and staff from upstairs are running back and forth gossiping and being dramatic with each other. They will never have another sale from me. If I could rate them less than one star, I would.

Starting with the Sales Manger Kenny to the sales team of Shannon Culligan and Mike Pitts. These guys know how to work for YOU and not your money. Called to make an appointment to get a replacement key made for my truck. I asked very specifically how much it would be for a new key AND to have it programmed. I was quoted a price. I arrive at my appointment and they tell me it will be nearly double the price I was quoted AND they’d have to have my truck for 90 minutes.I genuinely understand mistakes happen. But both of these problems could have been avoided with clear and accurate information. I had to walk home and not have my truck on my off day when I had errands to run. The service manager took $10 off, so I guess there’s that. I won’t be back.

We purchased a used 2016 Honda from King. After the sale, they disclosed that they didnt have the second key. Or the owners manual. Then we looked underneath the car and discovered various pieces of plastic missing and duct tape holding the remaining plastic onto the car. It took a few days, but they did rectify the plastic situation. However, we still dont have the key or manual. The salesman was polite and made the repair process pretty simple. Unfortunately, he didnt seem to know a single thing about our model of Honda. He wasnt able to answer many questions. I know Honda makes sales training manuals for each model. You should start using them, King. They are pleasant folks, but just do your due diligence and keep your eyes open.

The service was decent however I could not figure out where I was supposed to park my car as theres no directions as to where youre supposed to park for service. Inside as I waited it was super creepy to see tons of cockroaches in the lighting fixtures overhead. Ewwww gross. I hope they hurry up and get that new location up and running but I heard its going to be a long two or three more years

I was there for airbag recall, alignment and mount and balance of two tires. Thats all I requested. They charged me twice what they said it would be for mount and balance two tires. $42 per tire in labor. They also changed the oil and topped floods which I did not request. I had done both myself less than a month ago so it did not need either. They charged me $15 for topping fluids and $35 for oil change. They removed the $35 from the bill. I didnt catch the other charges until I got home and was looking at the bill. Seems very deceitful to me.

Had the passenger air bag inflator replaced due to manufacturer recall. Quoted 42 minutes for turnaround on the recall notice from Honda. Was out of there in about 45 minutes. Great turnaround time. Granted, this wasnt necessarily a complex job.

I drove 50 miles to look at a Honda Odyssey and was extremely disappointed. The salesman I first spoke to knew nothing about the product (I could forgive that because he was new to the job) so I asked to speak to a sales manager because I had some questions that the first guy couldnt answer. The manager gave me a look like I was inconveniencing him (strike 1). I asked him if he could give me some pricing options on a few models and he said it would be very difficult (funny...the Toyota guy gave me several different models with prices - strike 2). I told the manager that I couldnt do business with him unless he could give me actual prices to compare and that he was competing for my business between a Toyota and Honda dealer to which he replied that he wasnt (strike 3). What kind of manager doesnt think the customer has an option between car brands??? Ive never met a sales staff that was not willing to work with a customer to provide every bit of information possible to make a sale. It was like these guys wouldnt even talk to me unless I promised to buy a car from them on the spot...sorry I dont make $35k decisions on the spot! Ive also never met such a rude manager. A good manager helps a customer and earns their trust. If this is what you want, DONT shop at King Honda in Auburn!

The service department is horrible. Drove 45 minutes to Auburn to get a second opinion on my car. Was told by a previous dealership that I was having engine issues. I was specific when I brought my car in for a diagnostic of what was told to me and also if it was the engine that I would not put any money in to the car, I would just get a new one. After sitting for two hours, I was told that it wasnt my engine that it was my timing chain. $1800 fix no problem, made my appointment to come back. Fast forward to appointment day, received a call from Buck in the service department stating that they fixed the timing chain, however they discovered issues with the engine. I was beyond furious. I specifically stated my concerns up front and you failed to do a proper diagnostic. After some back and forth they ate the costs and now I have to get a new car. Because of the horrible service in the service department, I will no longer be doing business with King Honda. Its sad because I really love their car salesman Shannon. I will be picking up my new car tomorrow from Lynch in Auburn.

Unfortunately the people working there seem NOT very nice AND their knowledge is lacking in terms of quality of tires for the cars. It didnt seem to know the difference between the different ratings of higher quality and model brands of tires. They seem kind of wishy-washy on their recommendations.It appeared that they were just trying to push the tires that they have in stock which was a model of tire I didnt care for.They also push for a lot of services that arent required.I question their ethics.The entire service department smells badly.Honda Corporation should question whether or not this dealership should maintain their franchise.

After having one of the worst experiences I have had at any dealership, I spoke with the manager at length.The manager (Randall) explained the situation and offered any help he could. He also explained to me why the dealership was in ruins. They were moving to a brand new site in a few months. Their openness about their knowledge and non-pushy attitude allowed me to reach a decision. Their service department was extremely knowledgeable and forth coming about any answers I needed. Their detail department is also to consider. While hidden and a little run down, they work hard on any project at %110.If I have learned anything, never let a first appearance or situation judge the entire lot. Always give a 2nd chance.

Questionable service rendered. I seriously doubt they actually perform service that they say they perform. Every service our tires supposedly get rotated, aligned and balanced. After 30K miles there was extremely uneven wear on the front tires.Also they claim to refill fluids. In this case they told us we completely ran out of washer fluid between oil changes, which we did not. Going elsewhere. Stay away! They are crooks.

I purchased my Honda accord from King Honda about four years ago. Since then, I never came back to the dealership for anything until I received a recall on my car. Along with the recall job, I was told that I needed additional work that totaled to $698. I paid and a week later saw that I needed an oil change. I received a oil change coupon through email. I made an appointment to get my oil changed and told the lady that it came from my email. On the day of my appointment (which I took off work to come to), I was told that I could not use the email that was on my phone and that I had to print it off if I wanted the service. The guys tone was not welcoming and he did not try to solve my problem. I work in customer service and there is always something you can do for a customer that just spent almost $700 with you. I dont think I will return and I will not tell anyone they should come to your dealership because some of your employees dont value their customers.

When I first walked in door I knew it didnt feel right. The lobby is non existent and the sales floor is outdated. It looks like a scene out of the movie Fargo where the sleazy car salesman works. I was uncomfortable from when I arrived to when I told the salesman I was sorry I but I think Ill look elsewhere. He didnt take too kindly to that and pressured me to make a purchase because I otherwise wasted his precious time. He spent maybe 20 minutes putting together a quote for me. In my opinion, King Honda is the worst dealership in the area. After our first sales person left, I had to contact another sales person who happened to be the sales manager regarding a Honda Pilot that I was interested in buying. The new sales person, test drove my current vehicle (Jeep Liberty), gave us a trade-in price, negotiated the numbers, wrote up all the paperwork on the new vehicle and said congratulations, it’s yours, hand shake, done deal. NOPE, I go home, switch out all my personal items, bring back my Jeep only to be told that they made a mistake on the trade-in price of my Jeep, and that I would need to pay them $3000 more or give the Honda Pilot back....which I did and they sold it to another lady waiting to buy it that day! How convenient. Buying a car is supposed to be a joyous experience, and this experience was anything but! I was so hurt, I had to wait several days before I was able to even speak about the situation. My intentions for this review is to inform potential buyers that they should be proceed with caution when dealing with King Honda of Auburn! -Genia B.

They got the work done but they were unnecessarily pushy of services. They read my mileage wrong and told me I missed all of my major maintenance because of it. After I showed them they had done that wrong they grudgingly admitted I was doing things correctly. They also changed all of my settings in my car from the radio to the steering wheel and seat for 20 minutes worth of work. Finally they didnt acknowledge my wife as a car owner. They directed all questions about her car to me which seemed very inappropriate.

Have had experiences with the service department only. First time a couple of years ago I had the transmission fluid and filter changed on my Ridgeline and the price and service was acceptable. The second time i needed the timing belt changed. I got a quote from them for $1650 (ouch) but this included a number of other items that are listed by the Maintenance Minder plus more. I then asked for only the timing belt and it was quoted as $700 (again ouch). Also said it would take 1.5 days...hhhmm. I have had this done on on the the same engine in a Pilot a few years back and it was less than $400 so I called McConnell Honda in Montgomery. They quoted $460 and only 5hrs! Well guess where I went! How can Honda service centers less than one hour from each other be so different. Obviously McConnell has something figured out that King does not! Will NOT be taking my Hondas to King!

Brought my car in to have I looked at for a clanking noise. Was told it was going to be looked at. The year of my car was specified at drop off. Found out later that my car needed an axle replaced(which is understandable) and that there was a recall on an airbag. I should have been told upfront that my vehicle had a recall because now that it has been dropped off I cant have my car for several weeks due to liability. Then I also wasnt told up front that I couldnt have a loaner during the time period because I am 20 not 21. Now I am without a car for several weeks and I should have been told these things I would have to deal with up front so I could have planned around it.I WOULD NOT RECCOMEND KING HONDA CAR WORLD.

I have been using them for a year or so for service. No complements but no complaints either. Then I needed a key. They ordered it and called about a month later. I never followed up so I assume the long time was that it slid through the cracks for both of us. Made an APPOINTMENT to get the new key cut for 2pm. Showed up at 2pm and was told it was going to be an hour or more before they could even get to my key. I was told that an appointment was a time to see a service adviser, the time has nothing to do when they would get to my car.I had other things to do and said call when you can get to my car and I will come back.Next day a lady calls and asks very rudely what I want to do with the key. I say that I value my time more than them, call me when you can actually work on the key or return it. She said it was being shipped back and immediately hung up on me.I would stay away. Drive the 40 minutes either direction to dealer that does not take the small town auburn family for granted. Any King dealership is out in my book.

We had both a bad sales AND service experience. We wound up buying a Honda Odyssey EX-L elsewhere. We do everything we can to have all service on the vehicle done elsewhere, too.Stay away. In my opinion, its hard to do worse than King Honda in Auburn.

Specifically about the parts department. Brought in a plastic piece that had popped off the hatchback. Guy came out, got the vin number. He and the lady spends 10-15 minutes looking on the computer. Comes back with, we dont sell that part seperately. It is a component. Told them I found it online. They continued saying it wasnt in their catalog. Guy goes out and takes a picture of where the part was. That still doesnt help. Fortunately, I took a screen shot of the part I had found two days ago online. Called back, gave them the exact part number. It is now in their catalog. It is about 4 dollars more expensive to order it it online (with shipping costs), but would be worth it to avoid giving king honda a penny.

Not in the nicest neighborhood. I brought in 2 cars at once for an oil change and the staff seemed confused by 2 cars. Told me I had 30,000+ miles my car with 15,000 miles and tried to pressure me into doing normal 30,000 maintenance. When I refused because I knew I was not at 30,000 they then tried to tell me I was a bad and irresponsible driver. I made someone come out and look at the miles on my car to prove I was only at 15,000. He said that the guys in the garage must of screwed up and walked away. Never apologized for the awful things he said when he thought I wasnt doing required maintenance.

A dead AC in early July on vacation is a helpless feeling. Turned out it was still under warranty and 4 hours later we were cool again. Though we had to wait a few days to bring it in, we werent going anywhere and theyre next to a fine barbecue. And though I had to pay for the diagnosis. I wasnt going to argue.

King Honda Car World should change their method of operation. Their method appears to be unethical, in that they pushed while appeared unnecessary service. I.e., my tires needed to be changed immediately and transmission services, etc. Additionally, once I received my vehicle back, I inspected and found several items that were functioning previously no longer functioning; such as, gas cap was loose which cause sensor malfunction, clock on the display was blinking as if they disconnected the battery, and the bluetooth include pandora was malfunctioning as well. The overall experience was awful. I will never bring my Honda to their service again. Definitely not recommend this place to anyone.

Purchased a certified used 2009 Honda Accord EX-L in 2011 that had 20 something thousand miles on it. First off, the car is beautiful! But over time and realizing that it has been burning oil and has horrible grinding (vtc actuator defect) when I start it, I have realized that the motor is complete junk! My factory window tint is so bubbled that I cant see out of my back window, poor windshield visibility in the rain, leather on the door panels and center console is coming apart, transmission sounds like it slips and does not want to change out gears, absolutely no power when you are merging into traffic or at initial take off so bad that I basically have to floor it and it jumps to 6/7 thousand rpms and on top of it all my sun roof leaks!!!! There have been so many service bulletins posted about defective parts that it is ridiculous!! I did the recommended oil consumption test and within 2 months my oil wasnt even touching the dip stick!! I am supposed to be getting my pistons and rings replaced as well as numerous other things (NOT by King Honda) but American Honda will not cover the cost for their KNOWN defects with certain parts and it makes me sick to know that I only have 107 thousand miles on my car and 7 months left to pay on this piece of worthless trash and Im at a total loss basically!! The best way to waste $22,500 is to go throw it away on one of King Hondas vehicles! I will NEVER own a Honda again!! I cant wait to get a TOYOTA 4-RUNNER after I finish throwing away my money on this POS!!!

They baited me with a a CRV that had navi. I had paperwork drawn up for a loan at my credit union in chelsea. king had already sent my credit union the bill of sale on the car with the right vin and then called me and backed out on the deal just a few hours before I was driving to auburn with the check. They said they could not sell the car at that price with navi. I said that was the deal we agreed on, shook on and I had the paperwork for. Then the sales manager Randall argued with me telling me that I WAS BEING DISHONEST in wanting them to keep the deal they agreed to because they had made an honest mistake.

Wednesday 3/15/2017 @ 3:30p = 1-star=========If you readers out there own a honda automobile and want to do a service here then you should think harder...I am visiting my college kid here at Auburn and own a 2014 Honda Accord-EX. The vehicle still have 40% life of oil before the next oil change. Since I live some 900 miles away from Auburn and not sure when is the next time Ill be here. But I want to get the oil change for my kid before I leave Auburn. I came in the dealer at 3:30p and since this dealer is the smallest honda car dealer and pretty confusing if you are the first time visiting the service (no sign or direction to the service dept). At 3:45p, I entered the door to the service counter and saw two man sat by the counter texting on their phone and asking him (buck is the name) if it is ok that I can do a quick oil change. His replied was we are closing at 5:00p and we are wrapping up so no more service for the day I told him you have at least 1hr 10min left. He notch his head but we are closing.I laughed so hard because this honda service dealer is so much unfriendly and not willing. How can you show up to work and not working? Something is really wrong here.I am writing to share my bad experience at king honda service dept so reader out there to save your time, energy and money else where you and the service you like other than king honda.On my way out I stopped by the front sale office and share my experienced to mr. Randall / GM. He seems to acknowledge my concerns and took down my contact info.I took my business to Express oil Change 3min away from king honda dealer and they really treating me like a real customer. My fav guys are Michael and Zack.UPDATES...3/15/2017 @ 5:47p = 4-stars========I received a phone call from Mr. Dave King (the owner). He first introduced himself and sincerely apologized to me of his service dept staffs behavior. I have to give Mr. Dave King a lot of credit to reaching out to me as a upset customer and asked me to come back to his dealer to offer to do oil change if I havent done it (he actually said he would do it him self). That enough to tell me that he genuinely care. Instead he offered a certificate of free oil change on our next visit.I want to thanks Mr. Dave King and Mr Randall for their action and care to their customers.Because of these efforts I have decided to move my rating from 1-star to 4-stars.
