I remember being a kid (8-10 years old) walking into this particular Toys R Us and begging my parents to buy me another toy. Toys R Us was a kids dream come true, seeing all the toys stacked on the shelves and trying to pick out only one toy when your parents were with you was difficult. Now a days, kids find other ways of entertainment and thats okay, but it makes companies like Toys R Us suffer financially. Anyways, I remember this Toys R Us had a back section where it had like an oval design with toys in an oval pattern on shelves. As a kid, you felt secluded when nobody but you & your parents were in that back section. The front section had more of the popular toys and the back section had the more underated toys. On Google Maps, I think the store was at a different location and not directly next to the mall. I think it was a few miles away.
First off, this store should be listed as a Toy R Us Express store. We were expecting a stand alone store on Baldwin Rd, not a small store within Great Lakes Crossing. We wanted to look at bikes for kids.
Going to miss this place. Corporate warfare is unacceptable
