This store used to be so nice. Now, as stated in many other recent reviews; its very cramped, unorganized and dirty. Aisles are barely negotiable - just a real shame. The cashier was extremely friendly though. If staffing is the understandable issue, my suggestion is to close an hour earlier and/or open an hour later, thus allotting adequate stocking and cleaning time via current resources.

Lots of merchandise but boxes everywhere. Spoke with the owner and she said she couldnt get anyone to work. Once she does it will be good to shop there. You should know prices of your favorite merchandise or you might pay too much. I managed to drop $50. Bucks!

This store is overwhelmingly messy. you cant walk past someone else in an aisle because theres trip hazards (merchandise) all over the floor, forget about getting a cart around. Boxes everywhere and you cant find anything.

This store is absolutely filthy. Floors are littered with debris. They always have product sitting on the floor waiting to be stocked. One register open during peak times, while someone sits in the office area ignoring customers. You can wait for 20+ minutes while a poor overwhelmed cashier struggles to help an irate customer. Some of the employees are nice though and that really is the only redeeming factor. The management here seems incapable or unwilling.

My trip to Dollar General was a very pleasant experience. I got a welcome greeting upon entering the store and the employees were very nice and helpful.

The young lady working tonight very nice and didnt hesitate to help me find what I was looking for. Also gave me a cheaper idea to do with oil scents. So thank you very much

This is the dirtiest Dollar General I’ve ever been in. This use to be my go to store for dog food, cleaning supplies, and even some home decor. Not anymore.

The store was neat although appeared to be stocking Christmas items, so boxes in in aisles. Seems to be well stocked, prices good. Workers very pleasant.

Not bad for a dollar store. It is clean and they are usually pretty well stocked and I have never had to wait in a long line.

The location, for me, is very convenient. This is one of the areas nicer locations. Its well organized, seemingly larger and tidier than others in the area. They had what I needed. The only issue was that they were low on shopping bags cause an order hadnt come in yet.

Opdyke road location... i had SIX items. three of those items were on a messy shelf clearly associated with xmas but at the register i was told they were not on sale (JAN. 2nd!) THEN the doritos with a sale tag under them in SEVERAL places did not ring up as tags indicated. the snide female employee told me to read the fine print. i worked retail for over 10 years... anyone doing that where i worked would have gotten fired. 5 of my 6 items were misrepresented and she did not care! i had never done it before, but because of HER attitude i left the items at the counter and walked out. i can shop elsewhere.

I shop at c amily dollar for nearly everything. For someone who doesnt like a huge crowded store Dollar General is where its at.

They had everything that we were looking for, the cashier was connecting with every single customer and was super nice!

As far as dollar general goes - they have good stuff for low prices. Could probably be a bit more organized but overall a good place for cheap things.

This location could be better organized...random stock in the isles.

A lot of items are $1.00 anything that isnt, is a good price. Quality of items are better than other dollar stores I have been in. They also have a wide range of items. Great if its later at night and you need milk, bread or need something to pack in your kids lunch. You can run in and out fairly easy. Staff are helpful and friendly.

They say people keep stealing at this location No stock just a waste of brick and mortar. It was not like that when I 1st moved to the area fix the issue and they can not keep workers.

Messy... Merchandise was everywhere if youre not careful you will trip and fall... It looks as if they were short of staff... And the staff on duty they looked very unhappy... One person can only do so much

This is a very dirty store. And clutter all over the place. I was very dissapointed even my receipt was bad couldnt even read it.

Perfect in every way. Great deals everyday. I do shopping for the week here. Most reasonable groceries and well dated. Wouldn’t shop anywhere else for brand name and DG generic brands which I find BETTER than brand names without a doubt. If you haven’t shopped at a dollar general, please do!

I went in there and bought a couple stuff and I paid for three bottles of hand sanitizer. I didnt get them went back in the lady said she did give them to me. But I really did not get them. I have money so I dont how did reputation of stealing.

I agree with all or most of the other reviewers here but, my only complaint currently is that even THIS location closes around 9:00 p.m. which I really wish would be listed here! My other big beef is that it appears all the Dollar Trees in the area are closing at 7 or 8:00 p.m. but, do NOT always post this or let their regular Customers know?!

Shop there often, convenient and good prices

Me and the wife went in. We were looking for something in particular and we found it and wife found a few more things she had to have. Overall good people working the store.

EDIT 6.13.2020This store has drastically improved over the year. Its clean, stocked, and well-organized. The staff members are lovely people who seem happy to provide a great experience for the shopper.Navagated the isles of this store carefully as natural movement is restricted due to the floors being littered with garbage, large piles of clothing, and other retail items inefficiently stored in shopping carts. This irritation warranted some frustration but it wasnt until I stood alone at the checkout counter for a lengthy period of time did the full extent of incompetence come to light. Nutshell: the staff member who eventually arrived to cash me out posted up at a different register and stated, Im over here, guys, and proceeded to tend to customers that had been in line BEHIND me. I asked if someone would be coming to help me. He dismissed me so I asserted myself by insisting he take care of me after he finished with the rude person who knowingly cut the line. He offered no apology but casually went about his task. I was left with the impression that he was simply demonstrating his regular behavior on the job.I gave 2 stars only because they had my desired product in stock.

Great for paper towels plates and the toilet paper is premium without the cost. Great for stable paper and cleaning products.

Very nice and helpful. Met salesperson soon after entering store. Offered help to find merchandise I was purchasing. Also offered for alternatives when merchandise was unavailable.

Close to home and you can get everything in a pinch but they do need to clean more often. Im only giving it 5 stars because its like 3 minutes from my house. If they kept it clean? That would be great!

I frequent the store almost daily. The current staff they have are very nice and helpful. Store is a little tight, but they have a great selection and the prices arent too bad. Reason for the 4 stars is there have been a couple times I have went first thing in the morning and the store was not open. They open at 8 and Ive gone between 8 and 8:45 and the door was still locked and an empty parking lot.

Variety is really good

This one cashier who is new, I noticed that she spoke to everyone one who she rang up l. Yet, when I came up to the register she is didnt greet me like the persons before me. It took me a moment after my fifth item to made sure I said hello. She looked at me and me and gave me a very dry hello. Mind you I didnt get greeted at the door when I entered the store. This doesnt make me feel welcomed nor happy that I came here to spend my money here.

I really like the new male manager...staff is much better also. Very professional, and as of a couple of months ago, that was not the case. The store is much more organized, and cleaner now as well.

Staff is always nice and helpful. Stock just never seems to be put away all the way and can interrupt the flow of store which makes it getting in out a little difficult sometimes.

Dollar General can be a real crapshoot depending on the one you go to, but this one is good oh, the people are helpful and nice and it is well stocked.

They didnt have any bread nor any other store as well which I needed for lunch for work and breakfast the next day

As far as a dollar store goes. It is alright. Plan to stand in line an wait for incompitent clerks to turn their rap music down enough to hear the customer talk to them. While they listlessly assist you in your purchase. The last year or so that place seems to have trouble finding upbeat happy people to work. All in all. If you MUST stop here. Be prepared to feel like a burden on the worker.

This place was inside an old CVS apparently. It wasnt what I was expecting to pull up to. It was a little unorganized but the workers were friendly.
