They werent open but the owner was outside and gave us a private tour. I bought the white chocolate toffee. It was beyond belief delicious.They roast cacao from 3 countries to create real chocolate. A café is opening soon and will offer a real hot chocolate.

You must stop in. Youll certainly come back after you do. Their anytime tastings are so fun. Enjoy various chocolates with beans directly sourced from different locations. Their toffees are also so good. Yum! Buy a ton or just a small amount. Their portions are perfect for any occasion.

The toffee at Makenu is so 👏🏽 so 👏🏽 good 👏🏽 I am doing my best not to just demolish the jar because I know I’m going to want some saved for later. I was really surprised that I hadn’t seen or heard of the shop before, and now I will for sure be making regular visits to this place for my chocolate fix. Plus, the owner was so nice and offered for me to try some options before purchasing!

Ive been in once, and Im already in love. The selection is limited as they get their shop up and running, but what you can get is absolutely incredible. I tried their 70% Dominican Republic dark chocolate (I hope I got those details right!) and was blown away by how rich and complex the flavors are. Im a dark chocolate fan, and this bar is by far the best dark chocolate Ive ever had. I will definitely be back!
