I was knitting my first sweater vest for my wife and needed help. Several times they helped me recover dropped stitches and I even took a one on one class to learn how to pick up stitches and create invisible seams. I know this stuff is on YouTube, but the instruction I got was spot on and the project was successful. Thanks to the staff.Their yarn selections are very good as well. I only left off the fifth star because can anyone be perfect?
Lori is Awesome. Thank you for all the help. Lori I know best, but I do know Margie is helpful.
I have been a Needle Nook customer for many years. I love their yarn selection and the people who work there. Its one of my favorite places to go for yarn and knitting supplies.
I am took the beginners four week knitting class. It was some much fun. The class so small so you could get one on one attention as you needed it.Just going in for project supplies the ladies are always so nice!!!
I always find surprises here. The ladies are open and friendly in my experience. I love having this resource here.
Lori is kind, amazing, patient and extremely knowledgeable about everything. This is the place to go for all knitting needs!
When Im want something I get it, so if a place has what I need and its there I buy it.( I have just a touch of impatience!) I dont want to buy yarn online because I need to feel the texture before I buy it. Plus Ive never seen an opinion online to unwind the yarn. The yarn selection here is awesome. But you have to look past the ornery owner and some employees. Some prices are not posted clearly on shelf. Its not somewhere you want to hang around along time. Get your yarn and get out. Love the yarn though!!!
Quite frankly, this place was unprofessional to say the least. Their customer service was atrocious and they treat novices to the craft like garbage. They had a really good selection of yarn, but unfortunately if you buy two skeins of it, they are going to ask if your girlfriend is a gold digger, and make sure to make up your mind before you go to check out because they will be upset if the person your project is for changes their mind on a color last minute. All in all, I would give them zero stars if I could but one star will suffice. There are plenty of other yarn stores around that wont treat you like garbage for trying to spend money. Also they do not good alpaca yarn.
Have been a customer for past 9 years. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming. I always get the help and advise I need.
The customer service is unwelcoming and cold. I used to go when I first started knitting and was never offered help, and felt like I was annoying them when asking for help. On more then one occasion they didnt open on time and made no apology to the people waiting outside. The yarn selection is basic and much better selections are available at other local stores. None of the women I now Knit with will step into the store on principle. I live less then a mile away and will always go elsewhere.2020: the yarn selection has gotten better, and there are a couple of employees who have improved the atmosphere, but I still wouldnt recommend making this your LYS
They had a nice selection of yarn, but the customer service was not very warm and welcoming. I have been there on 2 separate occasions and both times I felt belittled for being a young lady or a novice in the employees eyes. Last time I checked, I was a customer in their establishment and I purchased quite a bit of yarn from them. I should at least be commented on my craft by a snarky saleswoman. That just isnt professional. Thankfully I work in Vinings and there are plenty of other yarn boutiques happy to receive my business.
Called to ask something and the lady hang up on me before I could even finish my question. Safe to say Im never stepping a foot in the store. Leave the rudeness at home.
Wonderful. These guys know yarn and theyre super friendly.
Love this place, I felt like I was part of the family. You do not get this service in a chain store
Wonderful shop, friendly staff, great selection
For me, the color selection is bland. I go there because its the closest shop to me, but I usually make the drive to Roswell when I have the time to plan it.
