They repaired the broken attachment to the chain of a Quoizel, Tiffany Style pendant light, re-wired the light, and did a beautiful cleaning of the stain glass. The job took under a week for a price that was substantially less than I expected. The only aspect of this business less than perfect is their phone reception. I called them once, and they called me once. Neither time could we establish a good connection. In person, the service was friendly and highly efficient, so if you can not get your questions answered over the phone, just go in person, and everything is likely to work out perfectly.
They were extremely helpful and creative in coming up with a solution to a broken antique lamp. The repairs were done very quickly and the lamp looks and operates great. I highly recommend them.
I am a local electrician who decided to try to use this company to remove a piece of wire from an arm of a chandelier. I called to see if a technician was in as I understand that due to covid-19 technicians are not always available for work. a technician answered the phone and said that they could work on it no problem. When I arrived to the store I told them that I never got the technicians name but explained what happened. The two female receptionists seem kind and tried to find out where the technician (PJ assumingly) was. They claimed he would be back in 2 minutes. I waited in my truck for about 5 and came inside, they said he was at the counter. After waiting for other customers to finish their business I was helped by PJ. I showed PJ my issue and he very quickly claimed that their technician was too busy to be able to even look at my order. I tried to explain that I didnt mind the time or the money as this is a very expensive chandelier. He then proceeded to explain a method in which I could use WD-40 to possibly get it out myself or drill a hole into the arm of the antique brass. I asked if he knew anybody that had the time to work on a chandelier fixture part and he said to use a Sandy springs company instead of theirs. I had already taken the fixture apart and only brought in the 3-in part that needed to be serviced. This would have been a quick and easy repair for a professional lamp shop. I am sure every experience with this company will not be the same as they seem to cater to customers with large fixtures but tend to push off customers with smaller issues.
Excellent service and price. Repaired a light kit to a Hunter fan that was manufactured in 1991 - Hunter no longer supported this product, but Ben found a replacement part and repaired the light. Thx
I took them two antique jugs that they turned into lamps. Jugs had to be drilled through the middle and custom bases made. They did a fantastic job. Very happy with the price and quality of work. Would definitely recommend.
Excellent, friendly service. My antique lamp was in need of much work. The repair was completed quickly and now the lamp looks far better than before. The repair was more than functional, the actual aesthetics of the lamp were greatly improved because the replacement parts match better than the original. Even got some great suggestions about the type of shades that would best complement my lamp.
They were fast, friendly and the price was fair! It can be a little difficult to find-- its inside Dawson Jones Store Fixtures. I highly recommend these guys!
