As always the pizza was great here we went for lunch and we got our pizza with in 16 minutes from the time we ordered great atmosphere I only wish they would put a little bit more sauce on the pizza but a great place
Watch party at the Battery. Four Stars for cranking them out.. lost a star for not enough basil on the Margarita Pizza. Come on, basil is cheap, maybe 7 or 8 leaves on a 21 dollar pizza?
Bad experience. My boyfriend and I came here last night and ordered a margarita pizza. It was floppy and undercooked. Pieces of the mozzarella were still cold. $23 for one pizza...I expected it to actually be good. Not the case. We both got sick a few hours after eating it. It was super busy because of the game last night but the fact they served us undercooked pizza to the point that it made us sick should tell you how much they care about making money over customer safety and satisfaction. Won’t be returning.
Great pizza. Usually I get the Nutella Gellato. But last time for the first time in the last 4 years. I did not like the gellato. They lower the quality. Other than that. I love the pizza here
Delicious, fast, and incredibly fresh pizza. Courteous service on a busy game night was icing on the caked .
Hands down the closest to authentic Italian pizza you are going to get!!!! I really wish they would do one day for just slices. I crave the pizza, but cannot always eat a whole pizza. The service is always great. We need more locations in Georgia please.
Nice place to grab a quick bite. Ordered pizza on a busy Saturday evening and pizza was ready within 10 mins.
Unknowingly, me and 6 other people (5 teens) walked in ten minutes before closing and they still took our complicated, excessive order. The pizza was so fresh and delicious! All the kids were filled up and we had leftovers to enjoy later. Highly recommend Antico.
Great place for great pizza! They have authentic Italian-style pizza thats ready in just a few minutes. The pizzas are decently priced and taste great. The restaurant is also a stones throw from the ballpark, s its a great place to get a bite to eat before a game.
Really tasty pizza spot in the Battery Park. Theyre one of the few places that accepts dogs on the Patio which is great. The pizza is decent and its a huge serving. The workers come to clean the tables pretty frequently which I love. The only con is that you have to go inside to grab all of your utensils and condiments. I think it would be great if they had a condiment table outside so those with pets dont have to come in. I would definitely recommend this place. Especially if youre bringing your pupper to the battery.
Great wood fired pizza. Not much more to say.
Great authentic Italian Pizza. They had a limited menu though due to the World Series
No frills classic Italian style pizza place in The Battery Atlanta across from Yard House. Level 3 from elevator. No plates. You can request parchment. Sandwich bags available to take with. Extra parmesan or pepper flakes available. They have Gelati, espresso and Coca-Cola coke cold drinks to go including Gold Peak sweet and unsweet teas, Smart water and Smart Water Sparkling! Beer on tap. For beer I noticed Peroni brand, saw Blue Moon and Heinekin. Has wine and shows full bar. Very fun environment.
The San Gennaro pizza 🍕 was soooo delicious! I’ve had a lot of different pizza and this pizza was top tier! This was my first time eating it and I will be back. I ordered it over the phone and it was ready for pick up in 10 minutes. So yummy 😋 I highly recommend! If you’re looking for the restaurant, it’s directly across from Yard House!
The Pizza was delicious, the place was Super busy but we managed to get a seat right as someone left. The orders came rather quickly, surprisingly the tiny amou t of sauce on it was perfect and it wasnt oozing out and burning my mouth with every bite either!
Great food, but they need to clean up the outside seating area more between guest. Its a free for all. Free trash, germs and all!
My fiancée has raved about this place for years, and I finally had the chance to go myself. Does not disappoint! Huge portions and an enjoyable atmosphere in view of the ovens and dough making. I recommend the cheese calzone, its very rich. Will be back next time Im in Atlanta!
Loved it. I believe Antico is some of the best pizza you can get in ATL. They also have great coffee and a great selection of Gelato. Family friendly as well with a nice play pen area that is turf and great for any kid to get those zoomies out after a good meal.
I grew up in New York and in the 70s and 80s 🍕 was superb, sauce, much good cheese, always hot the smell was a block away. This Pizza in GA is weak, and most Americans today they eat anything and say it was good. The Pizza I got from this place looked good on the photo, but no thank you to Pizza with no sauce and no meat hardly .
Pizza was amazing. Seating not so much. Hard to find a seat to eat during Braves home games.
This place has it going on like nobodys business! We were there for a Braves game went in to ask how long it would take to get a pizza 🍕? 8... Eight minutes!!!! It was delicious of course I love thin crust pizza! They were very efficient and friendly even when the workers were the only ones with mask on. It was hard hearing the # of the order called buy all the customers pitched in and helped.
Hands down one of the best pizza restaurants in Atlanta and well worth the premium price.
The margarita pizza was just OK. Tonya was at the cash register and her attitude was horrible. She was dry, not friendly and not very helpful when we asked questions about the pizza.
We went here for dinner. Great pizza!! I love the Diablo (spicy salami and peppers) but everything is excellent. Great service. Friendly people.Nice bar with beer, wine and mixed drinks. There is communal seating at long picnic tables. Sometimes during busy times you will have to wait. Hopefully your food isnt out before there is seating.Parking in the Green garage is free for 4 hours.Had lunch here again and it was still great!!
Delicious pizzas pies!! I cant believe how quickly its ready no matter how business they are.
Guess the manager wanted to go home early? Got turned away at 8:30
There is nothing you can hate about this place... Its best pizza in town by a distance
House salad is bomb. Pizza is good but eat it piping hot and fresh out the oven. Customer service was fine. I’d visit again. Kid friendly.
Great Pizza and Calzones..Simple menu...Needs better drink selections asap. I will go back and enjoy again.
We have gone here and the Atlanta location several times. Their pizza is AMAZING! The best all around. We typically get 1 cheese and 1 Margherita DOP pizza. Its actually best if you let the pizza cool down some instead of eating it when its hot, also the cheese/toppings tends to slide off when its freshly hot. Would recommend getting it togo and letting it cool down for about 10 minutes! They are very efficient and fast here, it was very busy inside and it only took about 7 mins for our order to come out. The pizza is amazing, their sauce is so fresh and delicious can really taste the tomatoes. The crust is seriously the best I have ever had. It is literally perfect. If you havent ate their pizza youre missing out, best in Georgia.
Always the best! The margarita and lasagna pizzas are my favorite!
Great wood oven pizza! You’ve got to try it.
I am 100% Italian .was born in Italy and grew up there and I have eaten pizza all over the world .without a doubt my visit today at this location was the worst pizza I’ve ever had in my life. But I’m not surprised that the people in Atlanta like this pizza, because they think Pizza Hut, Domino’s and Papa John’s is good pizza .so that says everything. they have no clue what pizza should taste like!!!
A must for watching games on game day. Go there hungry so you can order some food?
AMAZING pizza!!!! the line was long (we went right before a braves game) but it moved very quickly, so dont let a long line deter you from trying out this restaurant! we ordered 3 pizzas which were ready in just minutes. the atmosphere was slightly stressful, due to the number of people, but I imagine that on a regular afternoon, its a wonderful place to sit and have lunch. dont be afraid to try the pizza with broccoli on it - it was great!! slightly pricey but so delicious.
Best pizza ever. As close to italian as can be in the states. Bravo Antico
Surprisingly good pizza for a place that brings it to your seemingly moments from ordering. My wife and I were quite satisfied with a large - and like pizza. Crust not greasy and toppings were good especially the peppadew chilies.
Only a one star for taste. Took a 3 minute drive and pizza was extremely cold on a hot day.
Very good pizza....had fun there with the family for my bday....nice taste, awesome crust...great drinks, only minor issue was Long Island Ice Tea was majorly weak....
Somehow today was my 1st time to Anticos in the 4+ years Ive lived in Atlanta & it lived up to the hype! Outstanding Neapolitan style pizza with fresh ingredients & awesome toppings.Soft crust, charred bottom, sweet sauce & savory toppings certainly hit the spot. So cool that they have this location right next door to SunTrust Park!! Cant wait to go back :)
Authentic pizza! Amazing
Good za. 5/3 stars.
Absolutely amazing Pizza. The quality of the food is great. I was a little concerned about the selection, and the price for pizza. Its basically One price for a very specific Pizza. Also the menus are all in Italian, but dont let that discourage you. Its absolutely worth eating here, everything is fresh, and the pizza is prepared in a fire brick oven. The pizza is enough for two people. I have the diavolo, and I have not found another Pizza that is as good as this. You can also add peppers if you like, and they have other additional condiments. Would absolutely recommend, and I would totally go again.
I really don’t get the hype. I just don’t. Came here cause I was already at the battery and the restaurants there have limited vegetarian options. Wanted to see what all the hype about this place was. It wasn’t terrible pizza but definitely not worth $20. Got the margherita pizza to go. It’s a pretty big pizza. Wish they did personal size. Cheese inconsistent throughout the pizza. Slices cut so unevenly. Anyway it was just mediocre. No flavors. Just blah. Very disappointing. It was pretty quick though.1. Bland pizza2. Overhyped pizza3. Should do personal size pizza
The food was good, but the young woman at the register as well as the young woman behind the bar were extremely rude and acted if it was an inconvenience to take orders for food or drinks, and were more interested in their cell phone activity rather than working.
Yumm! The best garlic period . Not very many pizza options but the ones they have always make do a happy dance. Pretty fast service even on game nights 🌙
Great thin crust pizza and drinks. The Chianti I had was marvelous. The noise is really high inside.
Big fan of Antico but tonight’s pizzas were not good. Soggy, limp pizza base and tipping very sporadic and way too much cheese. Disappointed.
Awesome authentic/clean ingredients pizzeria. I wish they had a better beer selection though.
I pickup here quite frequently. Very fast paced and busy. Friendly staff and clean.
Antico has REALLY good pizza. I have been here a few times and it is always consistent. My favorite is The Pomodorini... delicious & crispy. The staff has always been friendly to me and my pizza is cooked within a reasonable amount of time. The cost for a pizza to share is fair and there are leftovers if 2 of us share. Parking is free under 4 hours unless there is an event and it might change. You can easily walk here from red parking. There are places to walk around after you eat also, which is nice. They have a full bar if you want to drink.
Very busy place that doesnt seem to adhere to or enforce any sort of social distancing was the only negative for dine in experience. Otherwise the food was fantastic.
Good pizza, baked right in front of you. Lots of beer on tap.Nice table setup with both indoor and outdoor seating
Crowded, but really good pizza. Try the gelato also.
Pizza was good. No paper plates so had to put on a paper towel or two.
Picky eaters beware - they don’t allow for any customization to the pizzas. They do have great crust and are perfect size for sharing with a group of 2-4!
Amazing pizza, and the resturant has a nice asthetic
This is some of the best pizza I have ever eaten anywhere.
We went in for a quick lunch and had the Diavola which I believe is Italian for devil. Pizzas come in only one size - large, 8 slices. The Diavola comes with spicy sopressata, pepperonata, bufala for $22. The spicy sopressata and bufala and pizza in general was very good. The pepperonata was not overly spicy hot but was extremely salty! We took most off to make the pizza eatable. An 8.5 aluminum bottle of soda was $2. Loved the outdoor seating. The Battery has a free parking garage as long as you leave within two hours which worked for us. Otherwise its $20 or more or parking can be validated if you spend $50 or more.Overall loved our first visit to the Battery.
Great spot, pizza comes out quicker than youd think
Best Neapolitan pizza Ive had in Atlanta! I think Im hooked.
The pizza is very delicious. My only set back was the staff walking around with the food and very loudly yelling out ppls numbers rather than just having ppl put a number on the table. Seating is also limited with how busy the place gets.
This place has definitely got it going on. I only give it 4 stars because the other location was a more impressive experience. But definitely a great place to hang out with the crew after work! Can’t beat the crust. Spicy food fans, make sure you throw some hot peppers from the condiment bar on there!
Absolutely fantastic/authentic pizza! Our server/bartender Ryan was super friendly and knowledgeable about the pizza from the ingredients to the quality itself. I would highly recommend anyone close to this place to make this a staple for date night/family dinner!
Simply the best pizza in all of Atlanta. Its the closest youll come to New York style pies.
